After the agreed movements, 200 Pilots and their REX Mechs would be quietly sent to Italy, via the Panama Canal, disguised as cargo shipping they move about three REX per ship. 400 EMU's are shipped via air due to their smaller size Cargo planes will be able to carry them, they are marked as humanitarian planes. Permission would be asked of the CSA to move the REX Mechs through Panama and a request would be sent to Germany to move the REX mechs through France down to Italy once the Cargo ships have reached Calais. The EMU Mechs would land in Italy directly.

 

In Northern Queensland

 

The Heavily Modified REX Mech is still being tested on, Doctor Rudd is being watched under the eyes of Colonel Cobar to ensure he doesn't try anything that would endanger the base. The sudden war that had arisen in Iberia and Italy was of a great threat to the Hellenic peoples, after just finishing a war against the Turks they were already turning and attacking their allies, one of a shared heritage. The recruitment processes that had been undertaken for multiple years were pulled to a close and reserves marshalled, the total recruitment campaign tallying up close to an increase of just over two hundred thousand new trained soldiers, while the reserves are not yet accounted for in their mobilisation orders. These troops are all outfitted with the Hellenic Combat Armour, and most units have the specially designed Aegeus Assault and Reconnaissance drones attached to their companies, the vast majority of these forces stationed on the Kommens Line, one being rapidly progressed upon in matters of its construction.

 

The Hellenic fleet, previously stationed in Epirus is launched into the Mediterranean, it numbering:

These forces are placed under the command of the most experienced Admirals, those that fought against the Turkish first time, and attached as soon as possible to the Italian fleet to provide greater strength. Ordered to avoid any direct confrontation with an overly large Caliphate force their main strength is in the Aircraft Carrier within the fleet, an asset that should give them air superiority.

 

Forces of the Hellenic Republic marshalled on the Turkish border, the vast majority of them, are thrown into action immediately. Favouring the mechanical strikes mastered by earlier generals during the conquests of states such as Bulgaria, and Thrace when held by Turkey, the intention of these heavily armed and fast-moving units is to punch large holes into areas of enemy defence and expose these for trained Greek infantry to exploit. Other objectives for these units is the conquest of key strategic points and urban centres.

 

The forces are arrayed into roughly three groups upon this line, in the north, south, and a larger force spread across the main section. Any reserves arriving are allocated into construction and manning the Kommens Line to increase the speed of its construction. The northern forces are ordered to strike along the northern coast in short convoys aimed all the way to Samsun, the forces are then to drive back past Merizifon and attack Ankara from behind lines, relieving pressure on other areas of the assault. Southern forces, marshalled and prepared at Antalya, are ordered to push along the southern coast to Icel, and then Adana. While this is happening the main forces marshalled along the line are pushed forwards, supported by heavy fire support they aim to push to and encircle Ankara within the first day, leaving a force before advancing.

 

The intention of this 'lightning strike' is to establish a line stretching from Adana to Kayseri to Samsun, the majority of this being achieved through fast-moving tanks and armoured vehicles and infantry to finish off encircled areas. The vast majority of Greek aviation is deployed in the skies, aiming to wrestle air superiority as early as possible: once such is achieved more trained troops are dropped into the desert from helicopters and advance to small areas of resistance to engage, these tactics are mostly favoured in urban settlements where such resistance may tie down important troops.

 

While all of this is occurring a message is sent to the Reclaimer Corp. and Brightsword Inc. asking for aid and promising money in return for any valuable equipment. The drones already attached to Hellenic forces are used to scout ahead and engage in heated fire-fights, mostly being deployed when they are needed to turn the tide of battle. Construction also begins on new planes desperately in Thrace, new ones being launched into the sky as quickly as possible.

As the food crisis comes to an end and the need for Ukraine lessens, Caliphate troops pull out of occupied Russian territory. Vladimir Putin has apparently had a chance to speak to the Islamic government, and for some reason the Russians are once more allowed to administer the territory. No terms have been made public.

With the doom push and the zaragozian armies beaten and out of shape now only the army outside of Porto were left. Order men, militias, EMUs, tanks sold by the brittish at dirt cheap prices and lighter vehicules fill the area. They strike and the muslim force, even though they may be outnumbered they are not outguned. The EMUs, tanks and light armoured vehicules strike at the enemie lines, making them waver as the machines and the Order men and militias thorn open the enemie lines. They continue the push making it down towards Coimbra and surrounding areas.

 

In the Leonese line the joined forces of the Order and Britain make it through the country side with the main armies defeated and the current disorganized stance of their military they would most likely drive them off hastily. The same can be said to the Zaragozian forces making a push south towards the golden city of Madrid.

In the background, a camera records everything. “Gatling guns.” the slide shows an old picture. “Machine guns.” it switches to a picture from the first world war. “Assault rifles.” an early twenty-first century US soldier. “Today, Project Ares presents you the next step in weapons technology. A step that will bring the Dominion one step above the rest of the world. The Hades Weapons Class.”

 

 

“Split into three groups, these weapons are the produce of nearly a decade of dedicated work. They are the evolution of the feared Dominion railguns, the new, undisputably superior handheld railgun weaponry.”

 

He spreads his arms as the small crowd applauds and a large Dominion flag unfurls next to him. Behind him, three images. To the right, an assault-rifle style weapon labeled HWA, next to it a long sniper rifle labeled HWS and besides them, a much larger variant with a tripod labeled HWMG.

 

“Capable of accelerating solid slugs to speeds of 2km/s these guns suffer very little bullet drop and have excellent accuracy. Unfortunately these weapons suffer from slightly more significant recoil compared to many previous guns and in the hands of un-augmented or un-armored personnel could prove to be a bit more challenging to handle.” He taps a finger on his datapad and the display screen switches once more to a small battery. “Every soldier will also have to carry a small amount of these to replace used ones. However, they are rechargeable with the necessary equipment.”

 

The meeting goes on and is followed by a few shooting displays filmed on the large screen. Most of them show the different variants punching through thick humvee armor or large slabs of iron with ease. These are broadcast to international news programs while classified videos of testing on live targets is sent to the higher authorities and studied by the scientists.

 

Production has already begun in the large factory city of New Vegas and thanks to the massive amounts of resources continually pumped into the Dominion from Afrika, the CSA, Australia and the Mexican mines, production can go on relatively easily. However, it is predicted that it will take over a year to retrofit most of the army with this new weaponry. Veteran units and special forces have priority and receive many of the first batches almost instantly.

 

The ones sent with units out of the Dominion are carefully engineered to explode on the inside should they be taken or stolen. The next rotation of Death Korps and DART teams sent to Brazil are equipped with them and will use them against the guerrila’s in the jungles. ((mod plz + last post about brazil plz))

At the same time, jetpacks are finally fine-tuned and ready for use in military operations and the pre-prepared and trained division and now equipped with the first models. They will undergo extensive training and practice with them, mostly in urban environments but also in jungle and mountainous terrain. For the most part it is judged that they would not be a wise tactical investment in open terrain such as deserts or plains.

 

Production will continue and depending on demand and effectiveness, more or less units will be attributed them. However, there is debate to include one jetpack specialist in most squads.

 

Of course, Death Korps and DART teams will also receive models that, according to certain generals will be exceedingly effective in jungle warfare, especially combined with active cloaking as it will allow snipes to move into excellent spots.

Other research projects continue as planned and with the resources liberated from Project Ares, the Dominion finally decides to slow down and turn towards the country itself.

 

In a project named Overhaul, they will begin to work on modifying the country for the better by adding a larger amount of trains and trams, encouraging the use of public transport and focusing on making even adults do one physical discipline. While children already do much of that in the Arnoldian Youth, adults have until now been allowed to work on their physical condition without regulation.

 

Now, in order to increase the pool of people fit and capable of defending the nation in case of an attack, or joining the army should there be a war, the Government forces them to choose one discipline they would prefer to do. Propaganda machines churn out large batches of posters and radio shows encouraging the population to do this, for the glory of the nation and to attract onto them to smile of their revered leader, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

 

At the same time, weapons caches accessible to certain military officers and Schwarz Polizei as well as additional tunnels are drilled in the sewers to increase the defensive capabilities of many cities. It seems as if the Dominion is settling down to defend its land and turn into a true nightmare for attackers.

The Order of St-George, the Reclaimers and Britain receiver anonymous warnings and gritty pictures of the large mass of Caliphate troops and new armor being deployed from certain bases. The Order receives it from the same man that once cut a deal with them for black operators and some equipment while the Reclaimers get it from the same man that once contacted them in their city of Utopia.

Unfortunately, it seems that the Caliphate Secret Police caught up with the original spy, the one who discovered this intel and while he had time to transmit all his finds to the Dominion, he is discovered by French authorities with a bullet in his head in a back alley of Marseille. A splatter of blood on a distant wall and a pistol in his hand would suggest he resisted, however no traces of any opposition can be found and the case if soon dropped. Even though they note with curiosity that the back of his head had been melted by a particularly violent acid.

The Russian Federation

 

The Caliphate returned rightful Slavic lands in the hand of the Russians, their territory becoming remarkably bigger than the original pre-war borders. Russia also claimed various other regions with her membership to the UEDI, basically restoring Slavic dominion over the Baltics as well. The newly obtained land would be marked with blue: {Agreed with Zanderaw}

The military quickly stations itself in these returned area's as delegates are send back to the NBC. Dmitry knew it was a very foul move that was similar to thievery, but the NBC wouldn't dare to go to war over it in his eyes. Estonia, Lithuania and Belarus become autonomous republics with their own president once again, with more liberties granted than under NBC rule. The southern area's are simply made Russian territory, the military base in Crimea restored and renovated accordingly. 

 

 

The heavy increase in territory and population caused for the military to be returned to its former state, with 3 million in any kind of military service. Production skyrocketed with pollution, and a visible economy returned to Russia. Civil volunteers in the rural areas would arm themselves and patrol the vast Russian border with the military, mostly to the west and south.

If the UEDI refuses or is unable to upholds its bargain towards its British and Russian member states, we may have to re-negotiate our membership accordingly. Russia will not stand for its land falling in jeopardy due to an aggressive foreign policy to preserve Europe. If the Caliphate truly shows to be the aggressor towards an UEDI member, we will act accordingly. But until then, the Russian Federation shall cater to its Slavic people in the Baltics and south."

Work and improvement on the anti satellite missiles is finished, the weapons being thought to be able to destroy an object the size of a tennis ball at varying kinds of orbit. However, a plane that can exit and re enter the atmosphere quickly and cheaply must be developed for optimum efficiency. Therefore, England, Japan and TRAC are asked if they wish to develop a ground to orbit fighter bomber, though the real reason as to why China wants them is not told.

The builder drones are also finished, just in time for the surge of nationalism regarding the newly renovated space program. Hundreds and thousands of the country's best students apply for jobs in the industry, hoping to be able to help China reach the stars once again. However, Emperor Tang wasn't keen on rushing into the Jovian system or trying to colonise a different planet. He was going to take it slowly, and make sure it is cost effective. Plans for a large space station orbiting the earth are drawn up, and the builder drones get to work on fabricating perfect replications of the scientist's designs. Development also begins on retrofitting the builder drones for zero gravity environments, which is considered to be rather easy. Brightsword accepts the deal which the CSA proposes; A pocket navy is a huge asset for a mercenary group and such an offer could not be turned down. As well, Puerto Rico and various other lands for training purposes would allow Brightsword to retain it's sharp edge in combat.

 

Offers are sent to the NCR to trade drone technology, or perhaps the antigravity propulsion devices for such in exchange for assistance in developing a personnel and vehicular cloaking system. The research already moves along well with these project, and a workable prototype is estimated to be done in a few years (8 pages). The board of Brightsword wishes to move on to a new project in the near future, and would enjoy to finish their project as swiftly as possible.

Brightsword soon co-opts the designated land in Puerto Rico as corporate territory, under direct governorship of the board. Six thousand mercenaries trained in jungle warfare are leased to CSA command for use as a scouting unit. These mercenaries are also given a full complement of eight thousand drones to use as heavy support and for reconnaissance and scanning use. Brightsword will relay commands from the CSA.

The team of mercenaries send back information of the REX mech-suits, which interest the board for usage as a highly-mobile command and control platform and use as a shock unit. Surveillance drones are sent to witness the Iberian War to observe other nations' technologies undergoing trial by combat.

 

The infiltrators themselves attempt to, when the Colonel is not within the prison block, scour the prison zone for the Doctor and inform him in a short and succinct manner that help is on it's way for him. The Caliph grew arrogant, believing that his naval force would be well more than capable of pushing aside the deployed Italian resources, and as the initial victories around the strait of Gibraltar might prove, the Caliph indeed had his success. But success is short lived.

A supercavitating watercraft, capable of speeds unparalleled by any other naval vessel to date found itself in the waters, hunting the Caliph’s submarines and main fleet. Thousands of them deployed from the island of Corfu, spreading their vast influence into the Mediterranean. They were the Themistocles series.

The Themistocles are small to medium sized vessels that cut through the water with incredible precision, slicing through waves as they form beneath them. The Themistocles themselves are undetectable by radar, their footprint simply too small for any known system to detect them. Not only are they devastatingly powerful, but excellent weapons of stealth.

Armed with twin gatling guns and a payload of Griffin missiles and rockets, a single Themistocles is capable of of slicing through even the thickest of hulls with its payload, and not only that but because of it’s capabilities, the cabin can be lowered and descend beneath the waves, disappearing from sight of the enemy.



The Caliphate would simply have no answer to the Themistocles and as they attempt to devastate the Italian and Greek fleets, their own would be shredded by the massive deployment of the Themistocles weapons systems.

The war in Brazil continues, with the fighting fierce on both fronts. Pushing south after navigating through the thick amazon, a primarily infantry army advanced. The CPNA was mainly supplied with what supply drops airplanes could do, and carrying them with CAMEL drones. Now with some parts subdued, supplies could be trucked down the main roads from Venezuela. To the east, the coastal invasion is making headway. With the new addition of two hundred thousand state militia, they could match the Brazilians. Cities would be taken and heavily garrisoned as the army continued on it's way, pincering the Brazilians fighting the CPNA coming from the north. The garrisons left behind would consolidate the taken land, and guard supply convoys streaming from the coast. What was happening in the northern waters was quite a different sort of affair...

 

Admiral of the Atlantic CSA navy idly sits in his chair on the bridge. So far things had been boring, after the initial blockade and skirmishes. The Brazilian navy had gone to ground or been destroyed, a weak enemy. Now he and his officers idly guarded supply convoys heading to Venezuela and Brazil's coast. But a missive was sent to him an hour before lunch call, and was certainly interesting. He called up his signal men, and told him to send a message directly to the Confederate national government. It appeared the Imperium Britannia's royal navy were near Trinidad. Intercepted messages showed the Britts were over eager to wait for the CSA's choice on granting Trinidad, and were demanding it from Brazil. A message is soon sent back, and it had Admiral Stevenson grinning.

 

His flagship was a heavy rail-gun class frigate, and he would take four others like it from the regular patrols. Eight destroyers would meet on the way to their point. Two carriers and their escort of three frigates, and five destroyers would also head out from Puerto Rico. Their entire point for such hasty maneuvering was to completely encircle the British's small naval detachment making demands near Trinidad. Pointedly keeping out of range and with their engines/weapons off, the CSA navy would merely remain a distance from the Britts. Submarines and advanced surveillance drones would ensure nothing sneaky happened as the navy stood idle.

 

The Imperium is informed that the CSA wishes to purchase the submarine detection systems, and would accept the promise of whom and whom not to use it against. But they however would not allow the Imperium to take Trinidad as a territory. The navy was there to ensure the Imperium does not go ahead on it's threats to Brazil, and to safely escort them out of CSA water's as a guard of honor. 

 

The Australian navy is greeted warmly at Panama, and they are asked to dock in a near by port before crossing the canal. A customary cargo check began, and the CSA resupplied the Australian naval detachment. The American Oil Expedition in the Arctic goes well, finding plenty of sources of oil. However, they would soon realize that the NBC has laid claim to much of the Arctic’s oil, which may lead to diplomatic tensions over the matter.

The British naval task force is escorted out of Trinidad, and returns to the United Kingdom Province of the Imperium.

 

 

The British admiral responsible for the task force is sacked, and an apology is issued to the CSA. Apparently, the admiral who had given the order to seize Trinidad had become overzealous with the American ceasefire, and had acted without approval from the British government.

Not only is he to be dismissed dishonorably from his position, but he is also to be courtmartialed for attempting to invade land form a foreign nation without approval.

 

The British will consider selling the technology to the CSA, although it must consult with Germany first. They tell the CSA to place an exact monetary offer on the table.

The United States of America

 

Internal:

 

With the tiresome war now far over the Union had time to fix itself. It had time to think. The people had time to gather their thoughts and voice them in government. Fed up with all the humiliation - all the embarrassment, the American people impeach President Dalton - who sadly had big dreams for the nation, but who lived under the shadows of the arrogance of General Patterson. A new figure is elected into the Oval Office. A highly capable people's-man who radiated an aura of confidence, hospitality, and generosity not to mention his very American personality that made him an excellent candidate and politician. The first thing he did when elected president was change the name back to its former United States and have the flag redesigned to look more like the old Yankee flag from nearly three hundred years ago. His name was Roy Kennedy and his speech was broadcast all over national television, airing after the NCR railgun demonstration:

 

"We the people have had enough of the former failures in the United States Congress and Unified Grand Parliament. Yes, we now own the vast territory of Canada and with that, most of North America, but at what cost? We have lost severe trust with our closest allies and our oil reserves are thinning - not that we had too much in the first place, anyways. Thank the Lord that the Confederates decided to look out for their brother, or we would be at the mercy of the reserves in the Arctic. We should no longer refer to us as the Union States - since the very name infers that we are the enemy of the nation that has offered to aid us repeatedly without asking for anything or little in return. We shall once again be the United States of America - and our flag will consist of thirteen stars to represent the states that fought hard for our own independence and success. I personally will not see undone what took us billions of dollars and thousands of lives to accomplish. Canada shall remain part of the U.S. and we shall see to it that these new Americans find their home hospitable. Political:

 

As soon as the President stated it in his speech, it was made official. The U.S accepted the oil deal with the Confederacy and quickly moved to thank them and pay a hefty sum of money in return. Immediately afterwards, the Unified Grand Parliament looks over the conditional peace that Britain had offered. The U.S agrees to let the Imperium have honorary rights in Canada and allows Canada to own a seat in the Commonwealth following the terms that Britain had offered. The Union did not suffer major losses at the hands of the British - only minor conflicts and a decent amount of damage, so reparations are not asked for. Britain is allowed the territory of Newfoundland on one condition - that American troops would be in a joint-occupation with the British. The territory would still be under British rule. The reason for this would be the general distrust of a foreign non-American power on North American soil by the people of the land. The Unified Grand Parliament under a new establishment also offers the following treaties for further peace between the nations:

 

1) The Imperium is offered a voice and seat in the Unified Grand Parliament. A legislative assembly dealing more with political affairs than social ones, it would act more like the UN and make sure treaties are honored. The Grand Parliament had replaced the U.S Senate and was far bigger and included the Vassal State of Canada and the Government of the United States. The Parliament had the power to keep the President in check and if the Imperium joined, it would help repair relations and strengthen ties.

 

2) The Grand Parliament would pay a debt to the Imperium for the damages and lives lost in the war with Canada. In exchange, the Code of Brothers rule would be enacted that would make future ties with the Imperium and the U.S binding so that the President or any leader would not have the power to betray a formed alliance or treaty unless under direct threat from that sovereign nation itself. It would be a two-way deal.

 

3) The Imperium and Britain would continue to farther diplomatic ties and conduct joint military operations again, hopefully being able to rebuild a military alliance and a close pact. A free-trade deal is also included

 

 

The U.S accepts the deal with Russia and offers it a spot on the ((Mod-approved)) Project Raptor to eventually launch it into space. A defensive alliance to eventually form into a military alliance is also offered.The President makes a statement about this newfound friendship:

 

"Both the U.S and Russia are fallen superpowers with a strong and brave population. Once enemies, we have rebuilt ourselves from the darkest depths of our own mistakes and now we strive to make ourselves great once again."

 

Research/Technology:

 

With ((Mod-Approved)) Project LION ((17 pages)) and Project RAPTOR ((21 pages)) underway, official drafting begins. The Projects are kept a total secret. None but top officials know the Projects even exist. Russia is the only sovereign power with its hands on the new developing technologies and a delegate is sent to Britain to ask if they would like to participate. The U.S thinks of involving the Confederacy and maybe even the NCR and hopefully repair ties. However, no official statement is made.

 

​The NBC is offered a trade agreement for oil, since they lay claim to it. The Team is on standby for further orders regarding any actions taken to secure it or not.

Omar is seated at a desk in one of the less-damaged buildings in the area when Madison enters. He motions for her to take a seat, and glances down at the file on the table.

"It's good to see young Muslim women taking an interest in the holy struggle of the Caliphate. I am glad you are here...Wilhem? Yes, Wilhelm." He looks up. "You've performed impressively in training. I assume you're ready to serve your purpose?"

 

After the obvious affirmative, he nods. "Two weeks from now this company will move out east, to join some of our reinforcements and fight the Italians. You however will be going north, tomorrow." Pausing for a moment, he closes the file. "There you will soon have the honor of being the third wife of general Saeed Abu Mohammed. Travel will be arranged on the officer's transport leaving in the morning. Any questions?"
