Valannor 6346 Share Posted July 24, 2022 [!] The events detailed hereon are considered public knowledge, able to be known by any who would have known the desolation of the Tomblands. Decades had passed since the baleful fog of death had fallen upon the expanse of graves and crypts, growing endlessly to consume all the land around it. Many would have wandered into its haze never to be seen again, those upon its fringes bearing witness to the incessant wailing of souls in torment. Long had it remained this way - corrupted, blighted, a stain upon the earth. A howl was heard - the earth trembled, quaking as the Veil’s fabric was warped and momentarily rent asunder. The dread fog of sickly green receded at a dizzying pace, the wails died to naught but mere whispers, and even those were then snuffed. The skies would sing and weep in gladness, a light sprinkle falling upon the soil. Where once forbidden from showing its face, the sun now smiled its soothing rays upon the tranquil grounds of death and despair. The air was lighter, the mood less dour. Dawn had set upon the land with the scream of malefic spirits rent back across the veil. What had occurred to drive such change?

lemonke 1877 Share Posted July 24, 2022 A being of yore stood under this overlooming hope shining throughout this dawn of a new path. Only time will tell what shall happen but for now she smiled.
AfroJoeTheOlogBro 1093 Share Posted July 24, 2022 A Lord anew stepped out from the depths, dust gently falling from his titanic form as both heads gazed upward, eclipsed pits peering at the Sun, as if they could see through it. It held a grand tablet of pure white stone in it's grasp to the light of the fresh Dawn, before roaming out.

bloomtiara 368 Share Posted July 24, 2022 One foul being, quiet as she was, let free a dull grumble with a faint gaze pointed to the newly lit sky; of which had been darkened for decades. Unappreciated light, it appeared, with the gleam of her lantern gently overtaken by the sun. The once-was woman continued about her day after a several hour griping to nothing but crumbling walls far off somewhere. And then, she was gone to the depths of some dark hole, a gentle rusty jingling following behind. Further downward, passing through depths rarely touched by man, she gazed upon that Lord who stood tall, and offered him a soft clapping. Whether it was sarcastic or not was known naught but Godan.

TheWhiteWolf 1043 Share Posted July 24, 2022 Astark.. that Barrowlord of the Fog did wander the once forsaken and blighted lands. Their radiant form clad in blackened armour now treading upon ground that she had not seen uncorrupted in many ages.. and now with the light of the Sun gracing these lands once more, she was forced to see.A relic of a bygone age of Umbrage trying to find purpose in the light of the Shore all the while the choir of voices continued to rattle her mind with their discordant tones. Slowly, but surely they would lose their grip on their sanity and be reduced to a mindless beast of pain and suffering. But for now, they sat atop one of the mountains and set their gaze upon the land and basked in the dawn of a New Age.
SteppeNomad 1552 Share Posted July 24, 2022 A man of Hyperborea, a horselord of great worth, with three quivers of arrows tied to the flanks of his two sturdy mares, gazes upon the open steppe with glee. At last has the eternal war upon those lost and forgotten souls seem to have come to an end. Endless Scydria, that place of glory, where the corrupt horsemen of the Conchuk had met their end in a decisive feigned retreat, their women and children taken for Scydria, found itself once more home to the herds of those beautiful steppe men. May the sun shine eternal before The Open Sky, The Skyfather has heard the calls of sacrifice, the blood spilled upon the Skullpiles. Now it has begun once more, the growth of those herds, and the Horse Tribe

TeawithFrisket 2647 Share Posted July 24, 2022 The elfess stood from the hill, a few feet away from her campsite. She took a long morning breath as she inhaled all the air she could, releasing it into one big exhale. As the dawn rose once more. "Our work is never done maln." She said to herself staring at the large sun
