TreeSmoothie 5145 Share Posted October 10, 2023 Balian's Royal Legate, John Augustus Galbraith, read over the letter with furrowed brows. He set it down into a certain folder, drumming his fingers on his desk in thought. "This strife will be written of in the tomes of history. Will we live long enough to read it?"
Pancho 2673 Share Posted October 10, 2023 "That Aaunite a munch." Remarked Lord Aldric Ludovar, still bitter at Aaun's ally of Petra's refusal for a duel of honor. "Perhaps the lack of honor runs in the Heartlanders vains."
marikandaperc 1190 Share Posted October 10, 2023 "The West is falling. How many will weep?" Avalon of Numenost murmured from within her secure chambers, wherein a pair of young boys slept covered by fresh silk sheets.
Javert 5753 Share Posted October 10, 2023 Louis Owyn Haverlock watches the unfolding drama with a lofted brow "I've only been gone for a short while. You mean to tell me the Regency has gone to hell in such a short time? I am utterly confused and I frankly don't want to learn more for fear of procuring a migraine."
Kitomine 785 Share Posted October 10, 2023 Princess Charlotte Valentina of Marsana finds this wildly amusing before she erupts into a fiery rage. "Y AM NIET A BANDIT! HOW DARE HE!" She cursed, tossing the missive to the floor.

Poppiya, who was all too un-thrilled about the conflict, sought the side of the Queen. Cheese 2652 Share Posted October 10, 2023 Liridona spent the night in her room, deep in prayer. Mostly praying that conflict would not come to pass, and that she would not have to send any of her children to war.
PrimnyaQuorum 1065 Share Posted October 10, 2023 In some distant place, Haus ponders if his warnings were heard at all - or if he simply was shouting into the blizzard and oceans in madness. He takes solace in the fact it is warm, and he is for once, not the primary source of heat. It is all he has left to do.
indiana105 2502 Share Posted October 10, 2023 Ser Arthur Gant thought bitterly on his youth. As a squire he'd marched on Velec. As a Ser he'd buried his sister. It seemed now more than ever that it was all for nothing.
SapphirePool 1168 Share Posted October 11, 2023 Back within the southern lands, Ezren rolled his eyes, handing the public notice to the lady friend beside him "That was what the fuss was all about the other saints day? Sounds like some people in the west are too sheepish to deal with their own troubles, and would sooner drive their nation to the brink of all out war!" The man rubbed his forehead, a sigh escaping him, "Gracias DIOS for the stability of our nation. It is a pity to the citizens of theirs." @HIGH_FIRE

After reading it over she would come to speak on it "How could this be what caused that issue... let us hope nothing else comes up from this, war is not something wish for" she'd respond to him as she she shook her head.
crazedpudding 2223 Share Posted October 11, 2023 Josefina Barclay squinted at the letter. She squinted some more. Finally, she threw down the page and started searching around her desk for her reading glasses. Upon finding the desk empty, she groaned and got up, hobbling to a portrait that hung on her bedroom wall. Pulling on one edge of the frame, she swung the portrait off the wall to reveal a small hole in the mortar. Taking a deep breath, she shouted into it. "MANFRED! MANFRED, HAVE VY SEEN MEA READING GLASSES?!" She paused for a moment as her voice boomed through Reinmar. How, you ask? Well, she had designed the keep, after all."ALFRED, TELL VYR PAPEJ TO FIND MEA READING GLASSES!"@Gandhi @Ramon Irena Kortrevich holds the letter up to a candle just in case anything had been written in invisible ink.
