“Peace at last…” Percy de Lyons commented idly, sighing as he sat beneath the ruins of Brasca Keep- no longer would he wait, ever on the eve of battle. No longer would he have to worry about the future- or if he would even have one. “The war is over. GOD bless the Covenant, GOD bless Man.” He mused, pulling himself to his feet and giving farewell to his friends that he had made during the war. He gathered his belongings, packed his saddlebags- and finally after eight long years, went home.

"Av," the former Queen of the Petra stood tall after reading the lengthy missive, mind overtaken by all of the battles where the coalition had triumphed, and moments where the Covenant had failed - yet learned from.

Unbeknownst to the elder Renilde, tears had begun to stain her cheeks, and relief coursed through her body as though a lead apron had been lifted from her shoulders. She was proud of what all the nations had accomplished as a singular entity, and even more so of the loyal Petrans, who'd all come together, no questions asked, to defend their homes and their Queens' honor - both the former and the new Queen.

"This is finally over," Renilde told Catherine after she'd left in a tizzy to find her granddaughter, still weeping gleefully. The older ginger clung to the young Queen, and murmured over and over again, "It's over, it's over, the gates are open, it's over!", while prancing around in a circle, perhaps a bit childishly.

Viktor ‘Daemonsteel’ rest, a hand raised up to grasp his forehead. He nursed a rather splitting headache, after that final bout of peace talks. The Duke sat in his Sergeant’s uniform, sporting scratches and dents from battle; the once brilliant shine of the plate dulled by a decade of gunpowder and soot and blood, no matter how thoroughly it was cleaned and polished.

“Et es done. A life, many lives, spent for this goal. My whole childhood, and those precious to me taken. There’s precious little time to rest on laurels, with much reaping required for what we have sown.”
