Lost for a time since the end of the war, an old Montalt emerged from the midland's woods with a sword in hand, armed and ready to serve his people.

Somewhere in the woodland, a man cloaked in purple hues muttered angrily to himself. Van Aert sigils decorate his sides and arms, mementos of his once great uncle.

"Never another surrender, never another Sarkozic. To hell with Adria, here we stand for the midlands!"

Regina reads the missive with a weary look on her face. "Demons in charge of a kingdom.. a kingdom which expelled us from our home.." She would look at the sea below Numenost as it changes colours at the point where the river and the sea met. "Maybe it is time to return upstream, with aurum and holy water! Or maybe not... I kind of like it here..."

Alexander Montalt rides with his brother. Win or lose. Outnumbered or not. Why? Because that’s what Montalts do. Montalts do not shirk from duty, they do not snake their allies for a duchy or a pretty penny.

And so Alexander rides alongside his brother Radmir, no matter the end result, because honor guides his stalwart hand. The young man kicks his leg and sends his horse off to a start. He rides to defend good men and women from the servant of an Arch-Lich in the service to Iblees who seeks to doom them all.

Ever a devout canonist and despiser of undead, Valindra dropped to a knee in the chapel of the Petran monastery and prayed heartily for the salvation, safety and wellbeing of both the Haenseti innocents, Valdevian zealots and all true canonists.

"May those devout who fall find solace in the seven skies.."

Ser Waclaw Jazlowiecki scoffed. “A false pretense for an even falser uprising. If they so dearly want to see their homes burnt, then they shall have their wish. Our peace will not be so easily broken. Any man who would take a Lich at their word is a fool, darkspawn sympathizer, or both.”
