Return Of The Undead & Ascended?

Iblees is trapped in the void, where he was to begin with the first second time this conflict has happened. What we have done is only delayed the finaly, the only way we are going to win is to put iblees down once and for all, or else... he will just keep coming back again... and again... and again...

I've seen multiple Aerial skins throughout Planet Minecraft forums, as well as various Iblees ones, multiple scenarios run through my head of an epic battle between the two deities, we'd have religious conflict, in that other belief systems, including that of Renatus will be questioned, subjects will turn on eachother, and so on and so forth.

I can only see the good in bringing back the undead, any who have actual negative points please bring them forth. Bad RP and powergaming have already been disproved, so anything besides that is relevant

The Nether Event was for a reason, IF the champions would've failed to destroy the nexus the undead would still be haunting us.

Me and many others risked their characters in the Nether to make sure that the undead wouldn't return. My favorite character was

kilt off, I didn't risk him for nothing...

Techncally you lost the nether event first time, and then they redid the entire thing even after they said there was a 50/50 chance.

The undead won first time, but again, everyone on the other side complained so they did it again. And then it ended with enderpearling through everything and throwing it into the wrong hole.

^ I'm still pretty surprised we aren't treading on lava and being undead slaves when Lym said Goldrim threw it in the wrong hole.

That aside, I would love to see a WoW inspiration for the Undead. And perhaps the Ascended could take a turn as well, being something akin to the Silverhands. Even the Silverhands did political manuvering to become a prominent force and to gain supplies, much like the Templar.

Simple opinion: It is fun and interesting to have a good/evil time arc in roleplay, but Undead/Ascended coming back= No. It's not like I'm saying "F* no, undead are blah blah blah bs blah blah", it's just...Undead and Ascended had their moment, yes, I understand some find it good to bring them back, but I can almost assure you they would end up frustrating people and making things suck, no offense.

I for one, want them back.

It would solve our problem of too many towns. Undead could just attack one of those towns, and solve the problem. It would also encourage people to live under nations, for it would be harder for their house to be destroyed.

I feel that if it's done well, we'll have nothing to complain about. The build up to this would have to be massive. I'm not sure if what I'm saying is 100% accurate, but I believe Blundermore has relics from the Undead or Ascended? All it would take then is for a few thieves to steal one, or a few, of those relics and the robes (if they are there). They then don those robes.

Cut forward a few days. Word has spread about the theft.

Event time: The Cloud Temple is under attack from zombies or something similar. 4 figures are made visible entering the cloud temple from the 4 different entrances. What are they wearing? Ascended robes. People start to flip their **** on the forums. Statuses such as "OMG ASCENDED ARE AT CLOUD TEMPLE LOLWUT" are seen throughout the night. After all zombies are defeated, Blundermore appears in the middle of the cloud temple (where everyone spawns). The 4 new age Ascended approach him and link hands. Blundermore does some magic and they fly off into the air. The cloud temple ascends from the ground, floating in the air.

Blundermore turns to the 4 new ascended and the survivors, a grim look on his face. He tells them that this will be their new home. Suddenly, he collapses to the ground, a pool of blood is seen around him. A knife in his back. They look up to see Dalek stood with a grin on his face. Dalek flies away, laughing evily. The new ascended turn back to the survivors, and do what the old ascended did, begin to read their books.

As I previously stated, I'd love them to return. However, I had this idea in mind. What if the mortals could actually build a hold in the nether, and eventually work their way to the undead city/hold? And of course get constantly assaulted etc. Because the Nether event we had was just for nation champions and shizzle, and there were not many who got the privelege.

To have them back would you not need a sacrafice in the nether taint itself to raise Ibless from her internal slumber in the void?.

I strongly disagree with the proposal of bringing back the Undead and/or the Ascended. Both served as nothing but a means for people to have dangerous magic that was harmful to RP and the server. It resulted in a lot of no-rp killing and disputes. I agree with Uthors proposal at the beginning of the thread, an evil of some sort could prove useful, just not an evil that has magical abilities and could be deemed unfair or overpowered.

I say-

Yes to undead, but no to Ascended other than the ones that are still alive in Asulon (if any).

The reason being stated above, the undead and ascended seemed to fight each other for most of the time. Maybe implement some type of replacement for them as not the main opposition, but a supporting role to the current races.

I proposed an Idea to someone yesterday, being a largescale Seafaring Raiders/Slavers. Due to the current map and almost all nations having water it seems logical for both the time period of slaves existing and a sort of "Pirate" as well.

Say... These groups randomly attacked without warclaim, but with a 30 minute warning or so and raided towns on the sea and ventured inland to enslave people.

Maybe instead of the ascended someone could make a major guild like... I think it was called defenders of ariel?

I say bring them back. I am not sure if any of you remember the battle in Al'Khazar where we were having a "cake party". The undead proceeded to attack and the humans ran around in a frenzy. The undead eventually left or were beaten away and the various races took up arms to go to the Northern Snowy Plains. The humans then began shouting "For the Cake!" and marched on the citadel. That was the funnest battle ever and I want more like it.

The votes now stand at 18% against evil/undead to a staggering 82% for an evil/undead. With 50% for the undead...

What is to be done with this then? Seeing how it is a land slide victory for? Could I and Dalek start enacting our plans with the rest of our collegues? Or are we to just let this play out for longer than it has already...

Can I and the others being making amends due to these results?
