The new red tag's cope is real, already hiding that which he does not like to see.

A Pact of _____ and _____

Whoever on the WT decided that the 25 blocks of quartz available to mine should give nether quartz instead of quartz blocks should be crucified. For the 25 blocks I mine every minute, I only get 6 actual usable blocks...

I'd have more respect for the idea of a PvP-centric family like the von Dracos if they didn't act like every other mercenary company in existence and suddenly be loyal to a different country in every single war.

@rukioGrow up. IRL, not on forums.

My thoughts on activity:
1. No one likes activity except Laeonathan.
2. Staff will never get rid of activity because they feel it is a necessary if horrible system.
3. Given (1) and (2), activity checks need to change.
4. Activity checks should no longer be a zero-sum game. It should be based on average number of players, not average percentage of players.
5. Activity checks should not be allowed to destroy single tile entities (nations, settlements, etc.)
6. Activity checks should get more stringent the more tiles you have (with the introduction of Crevel's enclave system). That is, if your nation doesn't have enough people to support an army to defend all your territory, you can't defend all your territory. Those builds still exist, but the logistics don't exist to defend them.

Frankly, both sides are acting like they're 12 years old. So, I request they OOC age themselves up one year to be old enough to play on this server.

One day you people will push me to actually handing out warnings for r posting. One day...

Treason. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Gotta say, I really enjoyed fighting with everyone today. Tech frustrations aside, these are always a fun time and I can't wait for the Siege of Havelock.

It is literally hilarious that because someone wrote rescue raid instead of wartime raid in a modreq, this has happened (and he wasn't allowed to take it back).

@UnbanCharlesTheBald2021I admire you and your words

Hey Mods, how come dwarves are allowed to break a one week raid cool down in tile 91? And why hide posts calling you out on it?

You know what makes me uncomfortable? When people say things like "Nectorist deserves _____" or "Nectorist is a villain."
Can we try and make it a habit to use character names when talking like that?- Show previous comments 11 more

@LaeonathanI mean, I suppose you can argue that, except I don't hate Burnsider, just think he's misinformed and find it annoying/sad/funny. lmao. Can't really think of anyone on lotc I *hate*, too old for that shit.

I'm going to say something radical. KP leaving is a great thing, but it should never have even gotten to this point. This alone should have gotten him blackballed from RPing various places: "I was rash, disrespectful, entitled, treated people with contempt, used OOC politics to get my way, and often dug my own grave."
But instead of being shunned for that behavior, he was rewarded, over and over again, until he was made NL of the largest playerbase on this server.
Its okay to not RP with people who are toxic. You don't have to wait for a ban. And, for goodness sakes, stop rewarding them for that kind of behavior.

Letharian, I am not speaking about causing IC reactions, but OOC ones. Don't even engage IRP. When the problem person shows up, just type "#looc I'm sorry, but I'm not comfortable RPing with you."
And then leave if he doesn't.
If enough people do that, admins won't need to ban the individual, he'll just leave.

It's times like this that I regret having left all discords. I wonder what Oren's is like right now.

It is the height of RP gatekeeping to write out cultural documents for others to join your culture, and then, when people call you out for acting counter to those documents, go "well, you can just ignore those documents. They weren't well written and the only thing that matters is what I say because I've been around for longer than you."
I'm sorry, but if you write out lore, then you need to follow your lore. Else it's not communal roleplay. It's a private circle jerk.- Show previous comments 4 more

Well, I think a lot of it comes down to a dislike of communal RP. I'm pretty sure this person wasn't the actual writer of the Scrolls, even if they were around when they were written. But communal RP is all about following the basic rule of improv, "yes and," meaning that each thing that someone contributes to the communal RP should be added to, not disregarded or taken away from. If this person thinks the scrolls are missing something, for example, instead of just disregarding the lore, find new ways to add. In this case, its canonical that additional texts may be discovered/written that, while lesser than the scrolls, hold great importance. These deuterocanonical texts are the best way to say "yes and" and not "no what's written is bad wrong. It's badong."

Don't bother OOC debating KP or others in Church Discord, the Prophet Owyn was Farfolk (and actually 2 individuals), Saint Juliet is Saint Juli'el and the Scroll of Auspice was a fake to push Raevir hegemony post-exodus. The Prophet Godfrey also had elven wives and concubines. Our anti-mix racing rule comes from an Admin ruling back in the day about double curses on half-breeds.
Most things about Canonism and True Faith RP is a lie and not worth debating at an OOC level, it's just about how you interpret the Scrolls IRP. Don't let it get to you too much, amigo.
