Rule #5 definitely conflicts with RP. And I do wonder, does this extend to IRP? Example, if my inquisitor kills a witch named Garsenda who attacked a canonist the other day can I tell the local militia "I killed the Nun Garsenda, she is a witch" would that be against the rules? I sure hope not, but then not allowing someone to mention it on the forums but allowing them to mention it to everyone they meet in-game is- odd. I get its done to protect players from being pressured to PK their character since if Garsenda the Nun's player continue to play as Garsenda they are now "undead" and will be eternally chased after. But if there were no consequences to established in-game, IRP laws and values and whatnot then, why RP the conflict out? Why bother to RP having laws or customs. I think if your darkspawn/criminal character gets caught lacking then he must suffer the consequences, RP is RP. Censoring it on the forums make these situations unnecessarily difficult.

The month wait is definitely not a good fix, and I do agree with you forcing anyone to stay in a community is anti-rp. What I meant is if said sub community wishes for a tile it has to be harder than getting 15 signatures on your application. I don't have a suggestion of how to fix this I will admit, but I believe not every group should receive a tile especially with how spread thin LOTC's playerbase currently is.

Hot take, if a sub-community/vassal wishes to be independent they should be required to warclaim rebel their liege/NL to be allowed a quick realm application. If they lose they need to wait a few months or smth. Its anti RP for a community to leave it's homeland and appear on the other side of the continent. This would be the second time it's done that.

I don't believe we should ban the term spook. I understand Darkie- its rather self explanatory, it can be used offensively, people don't like it- alright give a warning to who ever uses it, continued use results in ban. However spook makes sense, ghosts spook, they are spooky. "Spook" may be exclusively tied to North America as a slur. I just found out about it through this thread that it was used offensively. So thank you, I learned something today, but I also learned people are getting too riled up over this. It's not the end for LotC, or the world. We blacklist darkie, itdontmattas ruling on the report is done and finished, we don't look back at that. I think it was a good ruling but negardless Let's not tear each other up over some poor quality RP. Also just find it WILD that @RIGOR (mod btw) pretends to be some kind of Knight of Justice and then proceeds to use a slur. Other than that, Mod team is doing good.
