I think your point is invalid, no offense. Carrying tons of armor and gear around is bad RP, Stealing vast amounts of items is likewise bad RP. Allowing one because the other is over looked is negligence.

Enforcing one and ignoring the other propagates that we have a wavering standard of RP. It would make more sense to also enforce sensible item carrying as well.

Then you shouldn't have put that at the end there. It's a flawed statement and philosophy.

@Raptor For me, LotC was getting in the way of real-life issues, like uni work. It had too much control, so being severed from it, unable to get on by simply clicking, was a good move. I don't doubt there are others in similar scenarios.

And how did you get back on? By messaging a GM asking to unban you no? If you would do that that then whats to stop you from doing that when you get the temptation? It doesnt really make much sense to me. If you are going to ban youself you should make it a GM forced ban, not "Im ready to come back, unban me." But thats only if you REALLY have to.

That much I had the self-control to do, mainly because by the time it would take to sit down and write something cohesive that doesn't sound like "LET ME BACK ON I'M DESPERATE", you should have gained control of yourself again. Worked for me at least.

I have felt the same with the White Rose. In 2.5 one of the first VSCo employees told us of the white rose. When they came to "influence" our projects we were all shitty since we figured them to be douchy folk who wanted to pugsy. From our tense, uneasy RP over the next few months I learned that the WR really RPed their characters well. The issue was people /only/ saw the violent side of them in public. Never their internal RP or diplomatic RP.

Cakeman, he's not entirely bad! But yeah, avoiding people only hinders RP. :)

Attacking a sufficiently powerful druid in their own grove would essentially be suicide if you followed RP logic, let alone a whole group of druids. Yet PvP negates that.

The same thing happens to every other peaceful group. Don't know why druids would expect to be different.
