What the hell Axios map were you playing on. I’m a bit late on this whole discussion but moving farther away from what Axios was is a good idea. It was by far the worst map LoTC ever had in my time here. I’d recommend ya’ll make things that are explore-able but have a narrative to them, not just ‘abandoned building in the middle of nowhere’. Even if it’s small. But otherwise the map size/layout is pretty good. Arcas isn’t perfect but the staff have done a relatively good job imo.

he isn’t a real even connoiseur, event connoiseurs brag about how good they’d be and that they’re better than any other ET on the server even although they’re not ET... its the kind of people that say that they’d write a storyline better than the one the story team writes... mistery needs to raise his level...

The only thing unique to AetherVIP is mypet, trails and fireworks. Although staff teams manager up get access to mypet and trails, Story Team Event Actors get access to firework with no CD.
The other additions are just boost ups from other VIPs lime no CD on name change or more /skin slots.
I've tried to give suggestions on further VIP perks for most ranks including AetherVIP but it isnt in the coders current plan/interest despite this topic being brought up for years.

Warclaims sucks because A) Size creates lag and 1.13 is doubly bad so fighting is cancer B) Staff can’t monitor it well enough apparently so everything is chaos C) All these warclaims are about winning, not fun. Nations (especially Humans) go to war and need to win to get anything out of the war, so the core of the entire thing is competition rather than enjoyment, and that brings out the worst of people.
Ya’ll dumb tho and playerbase will keep doing the same thing, and staff will play middleground and make no one happy, the end. -

Orcs almost never raid us, and if they do it’s an RP raid and we usually have fun. Orcs are have, ironically, always been on good terms with halflings OOCly! -
The combined empire holds 31.59% of the activity. Interesting to think of it like that. 1/3 of the activity is centralized with one nation/empire. Helps put into perspective why they dominate the RP political field a lot, for good or bad.

The community is crap. Bullies OOCly, not all but a lot, and bullying that even some really toxic groups don't normally even do. Those who aren't just plain bullying definitely aren't adding enough interesting RP to the server. They circlejerk so badly they probably have wrist problems. They are often toxic when they don't get their way. They are often prone to abuse their powers. they are often egotistical. They are unable to take constructive criticism. They make all RP or OOC interactions with the group either, at best, boring, or at worse infuriating. The magic itself is bland, boring, and has no interesting dynamics. It's also just some confusing lore behind it that I don't even grasp, even though several Ascended have attempted to explain it, and even they admit they don't fully understand it. It's a circlejerk magic, again. Piss off the leader and your magic's gone, even if that doesn't make much sense in RP. Nothing about the magic is original, even on the server itself. It's a zombie magic that should have been put down years ago, actual IRL years ago. Let me leave everyone reading this with one question. Ignore my ranting above, just answer this: If a magic exists that only seems to benefit the group who uses it, a magic that you can only learn from sucking up to the group's leader, a magic that creates server wide events but then bars anyone who isn't apart of the group from joining -- if that magic exists, should we have it on LoTC? I say no. Remove the Ascended, and don't grandfather in anyone who currently knows it. -

I've yet to see a magic ever be proven good just because it's rare and only known by a select group of people, but that's my only 2 cents on all that -
all people who don't like freebuilds are usually high up in nations :thinking:

Paying high prices" [] The map's ending real soon, chances are you have some stuff you won't need! I'm buying Unique weapons/armors for my Dwarvish shop next map, and I'm willing to pay fine minas for the crap you can't take. The main thing I'm looking for is materials. Ores, Scales, Metals, Pelts, maybe fine jewels or magical stones; anything which a worthy smith could craft into fine goods. Items which have been signed via the staff team (GM/ET/LT/Etc.) are the real things which would pay good, since they're legitimate. Depending on the item you could fetch between a few hundred to a few thousand minas, or possibly a trade if you'd prefer- a good deal for items you most likely won't be able to keep for next map. The second thing would be already made weapons/armors. Same goes as before, if they're signed they're more legitimate, and often more fun. The prices I'd offer on these vary, since I could get any matter of weapons or armors, from a random leather hat to the axe of krug, so it'll have to be negotiated via RP.
