In LOTC, you can be a psychotic torturing demon drug lord who controls armys at his will, but you cannot be under the age of 5 because it really isn't realistic :P

I don't understand the idea that new players shouldn't join noble families for power, and rather work for it. Well, that I understand, but it's the fact that there are already existing powerful families and characters who already overshadow them, no?

ya know what, if you no longer have to re-roll a char after death, assassins become pointless, along with life span.... humans can live forever... the GM's do handle that right?

Then report them for metagaming. Most players here will not meta the assassin and avoid him just because they discussed if the character will be permakilled when attacked or not.
Trust people to roleplay without OOC influence. If they don't talk to them about it. If it keeps happening take it to a report.
Otherwise, OOC discussion of RP is often very useful in situations like above.

I read the ban reports and cry, WHY are these people let onto lotc? WHY!? not all of them, but some are just imature children, who insult people, abuse the mechanics, don't understand the rules, lie, swear, and over all sometimes don't undertsand this is a roleplay server. one recently (actually two on one person) made me SHED A TEAR at how people roleplay like this...

Yes, Jesus christ isn't a swear, buts its offencive. when I ask you to stop saying it, and you respond with "Its the internet del wif it" I have the urge to punch you, because this is Lotc.... we have rules and we are ment to be mature players, right? so when I'm hit with such intollerence of emotions and care for the rules, I begin to question if this whole server will one day be filled with more of these...
