I am just stating that if the player is believing they are being cyber bullied because a competent community team member has suspicion they may be an alt, then they may not be mature enough to be on the Lord of the Craft, a premium roleplay experience meant for 18+ individuals.

Krugmar sees people vandalizing a shrine and notifies their vassals via the bell system as per server rules. 

Krugmar vassals show up and some people get mad. 

Unaffiliated story team member makes post. I tell story team member to cope and seethe. Do you expect oren or urguan to not rally for a ferrymen raid?

Let me clarify. You aren't apart of this group and I understand. It's just the most recent example.

The situation you are referring to is not the cause of the #lotc18+. The cause of #lotc18+ is because I believe the administration and moderation are not responsible for the failures that stem from poor parenting of the minors of lotc. 

LoTC is an 18+ server already. 

Indeed. The adult themes of the server aren't safe for our youth. Which is why the administration must make a choice. 

Either ban all adult themes and become a true 13+ server. Or restrict access to all minors to keep them away from these inappropriate adult themes and pedophiles, doxxers, and ddosers. We can't keep leading the sheep, if it only results in slaughter.

Let me ask you this, @The King Of The Moonmade a point I have made twenty times so far, how can we protect our children if we can't catch every pedophile in existence. Even the FBI can't catch them all. This isn't pokemon, they aren't hiding in the bushes or running wild, they are people that are trying to not get caught. I don't support pedophiles, I believe all proven pedophiles should be cast out from society and never given a chance to come back if there is proper evidence of their actions. 

Video games have age limits on them for a reason, LOTC has an age limit on it for a reason. LOTC requires a player to be 18+ to join the server or be 13+ with a parent's consent to join the server. The issue with the 13+ with consent is people aren't doing that. It is not @Telanir@Lliror @ScreamingDingo's job to monitor and parent minors who come on here deceiving their parents. Other players such as VonGrool have made the point that their family refused to let them use certain aspects of discord because of the unsafe conditions and they knew they couldn't monitor everything. That system of trust and parenting was put in place by a responsible adult who has power over that child.

Your point is somewhat valid. But the #lotc18+ movement isn't punishing children. Children who join LOTC without parent supervision are violating the TOS and should be removed for violating a SERVER RULE. Not only that, it's the most fool proof way of protecting them from any potential pedophilia. Why should we allow children onto LOTC if what you say is true. If people are protecting pedophiles, why should we continue to lead sheep to the slaughter.

@rukio I am sorry if people are victim blaming you. I truly am. But if LOTC faces an issue of sexual abuse/blackmail, then LOTC should not let undeveloped minds join the server unless they can guarantee that some authority figure is monitoring the child in ways LOTC administration can't. 

@MoribundityI'll refrain from repeating myself, but the server is currently 18+. You need to join the server with parents consent if you are between the ages of 13 and 17. This is because the parent is responsible for monitoring your online communications. It's the same reason you can't make a facebook account or twitter without the same requirement. @Llircan't go through demanding people open up discord for mandatory screen sharing to see if they are being groomed or being a pedophile. If criminals are on LOTC, we should be protecting the undeveloped youth and prevent them from ever getting in contact with these criminals. #lotc18+

Feel free to @ me next time. You warned me over a rule that doesn't exist. LOTC is not a 13+ server. LOTC is already an 18+ and is failing it's fair duty of holding parent's responsible for protecting their children.

You hereby affirmatively represent that (a) you are at least the Minimum Age in the applicable Authorized Jurisdiction; (b) you have the consent of your parent(s)/guardian(s) to use the Services if you are under 18 years of age; (c) you have all the applicable rights and authority to grant us the rights granted herein; (d) you have no legal restraints or orders that prevents you using our services or contact with certain users; and (e) you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you are not at least the Minimum Age, do not have parental consent, or you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this Agreement, you may not use the Services.

LOTC is an 18+ Server. It's enforcement should match the rules. We allow slavery, we allow religious persecution, we allow romance, we allow torture. These are topics that shouldn't be allowed on a 13+ server. If we are truly 13+, then put a ban on romance roleplay.

let's ban the following forms of roleplay so we can guarantee the undeveloped minds of our youth won't be exposed to inappropriate topics:

1. Romance roleplay (why are we allowing individuals to have romantic relations between characters. It's inappropriate and harmful to the children)

2. Any form of forced imprisonment (why are we allowing individuals to force things on others without their consent.)

3. Religious persecution (Why do we let individuals run crusades to persecute those that may be different. Why are we allowing the message that hate and bias is acceptable)

@Josie_ExoticWe do, but that's not enough. LOTC does not have the funding, man power, or operations to be able to educate and protect underage players that are not abiding by the terms of service. Quoting LOTC's standards:

Many individuals aged 13 - 17 that are members of this server violate this ToS. There is no easy way to enforce parent's consent currently, a more fool proof way would be removing all players in question from the server as their minds develop. I agree with banning pedophiles, racists, and any others who violate LOTC policy. But, we must protect individuals from harm on LOTC's platform. What is the safest way to protect these underage players is to not allow them to use our service in the first place.
