  1. There isn't an internal conflict rule for this, that's explicitly for warclaims (which this server likes to treat as separate from organic RP conflict for some reason)- this was a fight, a raid. What point is there in classifying it as a rebellion- where in the rebellion rules does it say you can just walk up and spontaneously coup in a night? This was organic RP, and when mods put NO CAPS on this sort of conflict despite evidently being very aware that having no rules to massive fights is a bad idea, then they are responsible for the bad outcome. I really don't side with either group here, I liked stuff I heard about acre and got friends playing there but as you know I'm friendly with a lot people against them- and beyond all that that's just OOC. RPly I have quite literally no horse in this. I think the moderation need to take accountability for the shoddy state of conflict rather than throw it on people and call it bad faith with a minimal investigation. I've had people telling me OOCly for a few days that Acre was doing a lot of RP to build up friendships and backroom deals, and it's the only reason I'm defending them; Because I literally heard about the planning for this in Roleplay. I cannot by any means ignore people calling it all OOC fuckery when I was second-hand witness to it. I feel bad to see Borin and whoever else from Acre screaming into the void "We did this!" and everyone automatically dismissing it. This is neither Oren nor Acre's fault, if Moderation didn't want situations like this to happen they shouldn't have had uncapped raids. They should have made rules making it specific a raiding party should all be one group. They should have brought the internal conflict rules beyond just Warclaim section of rules (Btw, it's been common precedent for a while now that outside groups could help internal wars in raids, just not in the warclaims. I remember being told this several times). Yes, I get Moderation are humans and I'm not saying they should all leave server or hate themselves, but just take some accountability for things.
  2. I mostly agree with your analysis, except a big part is missing: If your rules are missing out on massive potential loopholes or worse yet explicitly conflict with each other, they are terrible rules and that needs to be addressed. As well, there were a ton of assumptions being made about the veracity of RP based on the region membership thing, but there are no rules against that, and in fact its almost encouraged; how else are you supposed to prepare for an impending war when you're a smaller group going against a massive nation. Maybe instead of citing bad faith behavior of a group you didn't have time to investigate, I feel like the best move would have just been own up to the fact the rules were shit and try to fix situation. I looked at list of people, yes there were quite a few people who were a stretch to be there but from what I've heard and seen so far it seems like a lot more preparation was done than mods assumed and a lot of people were there with valid RP. Maybe I'm just salty because I explicitly warned that a situation like this would happened and I was ignored- what did you expect with uncapped raids across board? Why did you approve a rule like that? What situation WAS the intended outcome of uncapped raids if not this sort of spontaneous attack?
  3. wish you had the same cajones when someone made a joke at your expense
  4. The Rhun Prophet hears word of Mao's letter, and lets out a dry chuckle as he shakes his head. "Ah, I reckon Garedyn'll soon see what I meant."
  5. Rhun Prophet Norli hears about the liberation of his king, and smiles the stone's smile. "Special operations team successful again, et simply es as simple as Zahrer said."
  6. FULL REMOVAL BABY WOOOOO

  7. Full Removal. Anything less is lore elitism, that valid RP can only come from signed RP items, or worse yet ST signed items. I beg everyone to consider full removal, because I am telling you it will positively impact people's abilities to create Mercantile RP. I am someone who the last two maps did a lot of mercantile RP, and have begun to dip into it again this map- the AH especially this map has ruined a lot of good opportunities for new player experiences in my assessment.
  8. Keep filibustering heero it's for the good of the server, don't listen to matta
  9. i think server's doing p good ngl
  10. The "What-About"ism I've seeing is giving me some great ideas; why don't we go further? You're right, there are other people who should go next.
  11. After successfully passing another law spontaneously at the last Senate moot, the Rhun Prophet sneaks into the Obsidian Vault and finds the Articles of Urguan. He tenderly rests his hand on them, and plants a kiss at the header of the document. "Dunnae worry kids, I will nae let anyone hurt you." He lets out a content sigh, knowing that retroactive legislation and thus the degredation of dwarven society was fought off for another year. Once again the Brathmordakin bested Bureaucracy.

  15. A Longbeard takes off his mask, letting his beard fumble in the open air. There was a death in the dell, and a hanging sense of gloom. He set his iron mask into the hill, offered a prayer to Dungrimm, and mounted his iron ram. Lives were lost, but the Glory of Urguan was found at the battle of Acre.
  16. The prophet of the dwarves wiggles his brows at reading the news. He looked over to a depiction of Zahrer Irongrinder, Hero of dwarves and snow elven patron god of unreasonable warmongering. "Is this really how it goes?"
  17. A fellow dwed scholar speaks with his kin, "I swear, yrromar in our day would know their research."
  18. Within the innermost sanctum of the Temple of the World Maker, the Rhun Prophet pondered current events. He had danced with the danger of open global war during his own reign, and had learned to hate the disruption and chaos heralded by war. Now his Grand King and the coalition had thumped their fist on the delicate design of Yemekar, and would seek to hold it firmly in place by pure strength. If they won, they would humble the Kingdom of Oren and enemies of the coalition. If they lost, the humbling of the heavens would be far worse than that of mortal men. It was not a gambit he would make, but the die were cast and soon the world would see. He quoted an old human epic with a solemn expression; "Alea iacta est."
  19. A dwarven prophet wonders when the sons of Urguan shouted for joy when the Archdrakaar did anything in these current lands.
  20. Hey, appreciate the plugin! I'm sure it'll defo make managing some stuff easier. Only feedback or thought I have is that to consider a way to be part of multiple realms, even if one is a 'primary' realm. If the goal is to make managing things easier, and the managing of things is meant to reflect roleplay, then there are plenty of times where someone is part of multiple 'groups' at once. I also think having a consideration for vassals within Nations would be good in the current way the server works. Mika gives a good example of Lubba keep and etc. But it's a fantastic foundation, and your work is appreciated.
  21. I'd like to add on to the conversation that I really do think that a transition period would be better for Roleplay, though I don't think it was idea that settlements/nations wouldn't have their tile before hand to pre-design a city- just that they'd have to do RP effort to make that city with a time frame, not start out with a massive capital.
  22. again with the troop movement cost thing, the tile transfer is obv for conquest to be allowed not to decrease troop movement smh
  23. Rhun Prophet Norli Starbreaker spins in his... hospital bed.
  24. Yes, what changes are you looking for?
  25. After an intense period of stress and hard work, notably reading headlines that cause much duress, the High Prophet Norli Norvarsson Starbreaker suffers a stroke and collapses in his office, and is hospitalized for a year. Doctors believe he will be available again the next Grand Harvest. Glory to the Brathmordakin or whatever. ~An unpaid initiate of the Clergy
