  2. MOUNTAINS WILL BE SO STRONG HOLY SHIIIIIII I think having a very mountain and cavern heavy map next map will be good, and I don't say this just as a dwarf- not all mountains should look the same, and having a variety like that could be really cool- but there should defo still be a lot of lowlands for people to inhabit who may prefer the valley vibe.
  3. The Rhun Prophet hears word of Mao's letter, and lets out a dry chuckle as he shakes his head. "Ah, I reckon Garedyn'll soon see what I meant."
  4. "Bakir must've seduced them loike he did Philip- Sheesh!" A dwarven prophet notes.
  5. Rhun Prophet Norli hears about the liberation of his king, and smiles the stone's smile. "Special operations team successful again, et simply es as simple as Zahrer said."
  6. FULL REMOVAL BABY WOOOOO

  7. Full Removal. Anything less is lore elitism, that valid RP can only come from signed RP items, or worse yet ST signed items. I beg everyone to consider full removal, because I am telling you it will positively impact people's abilities to create Mercantile RP. I am someone who the last two maps did a lot of mercantile RP, and have begun to dip into it again this map- the AH especially this map has ruined a lot of good opportunities for new player experiences in my assessment.
  8. The "What-About"ism I've seeing is giving me some great ideas; why don't we go further? You're right, there are other people who should go next.
  9. The Temple of the Worldmaker was bustling with a feast of dwarves, rejoicing in the glories of past accomplishments and of the promise of those to come. An elder dwarf stood at the podium before them, leaning over it with a blood-stained starmetal hammer. For over a century he had been planning for a moment, one that had finally arrived. He smiled the Stone’s Smile, and began a speech. ᚢᛚᚱᛟ-ᚡᛖᛚᛖᚱᚨᚴ-ᛖᚱᛟᚾ-ᛞᚨ-ᚱᚺᚨᛞᚨᚡ’ᚴᚨᚱᚨᚨᛞ ᚾᚨᚱᚡᚨᚴ-ᛟᛉ-ᛞᚨ-ᚴᛁᚱᚴᛃᚨ-ᛞᚡᛖᚱᚷᚨ FIRST AGENDA OF THE RHUN It has always been through the actions of guilds that the gods are most honored. Armakak was never honored better by a priest than he was by successful merchants, nor Yemekar honored by sermons as much as he is by feats of supreme craftsmanship. It is for reasons such as these that by declaration of the Rhun Prophet, da Kirkja Dverga is officially dissolved. All priests blessed with divine inspiration shall be brought into the Workforce to begin cults dedicated to the worship and rites of the gods alongside the activities of the Workforce. But the Workforce shall only thrive in its dedication to the Rhun with organization, so this agenda has been made to coordinate announcements and upcoming activities of Yemekar’s Workforce. ANNOUNCEMENTS Late High Prospector Balor Ireheart has passed, and his replacement Guild Lord shall be Thor’nir Frostbeard, a newbeard with a passion and skill for mining. With this appointment, expect greater level of communication with miners, something Overseers noted was an issue in the past. A feast shall be held in Balor’s name in the coming years. Ulfar Starbreaker has returned from his expeditions abroad and will be taking the mantle of Forge Lord of the White Anvil once more, leading the metalworkers in their efforts of craftsmanship. With his return, we shall be re-introducing the chapters of forging within the ranks of the metalworkers, a framework for teaching the many materials to aspiring metalworkers. Metalworkers will also be allowed to design what they wish for 10 minas so long as it is of quality, though commissions will still be available for higher pay. With wars both mortal and divine raging across the realm, the Workforce Overseers concern themselves with the protection of our creations blessed by Yemekar. Khubuc Irongrinder has perceived the opportunity for a cohort to be created for members of the Workforce who fight not for the death and glory of Dungrimm but for the enduring love of their creations. These craftsfolk fighters shall be dedicated to Yemekar, and optional for all workers to join for not just legion pay while under command of a like-minded legate, but additional pay from the Workforce for their participation. The Rhun Guard shall be made for this purpose, and workers should anticipate more announcements on this topic. With the great success of the war machine Yemekar’s Absolution, its head designer Kazadren Starbreaker will be leading efforts as a High Overseer with an engineering company within the Workforce. Through his leadership, we shall seek to create many machines for the purposes of the guilds’ many projects. PROJECTS The Threat of Azdromoth: The Dragon King continues his war against the Brathmordakin in honor of Khorvad, and remains a primary enemy of Urguan’s Folk. His soldier Cloudbreaker has broken the Gates of Balek leading to Kal’Darakaan, and must be prepared to slay upon his return. Many activities must be devoted towards the creation of weapons to defeat not just Cloudbreaker but Azdromoth, primarily with the focus of defending Kal’Darakaan upon another attack. The Underways to the World Heart: The caverns of Urguan’s mountains have gone mostly unsearched and unexplored, and there are few passageways which we are properly informed. It is an urgent effort to explore these underways properly not just to explore unknown territories but to harvest the rare resources within. This will require many expeditions into the underways, as well as the creation of greater mechanical tools to assist in these efforts. The Hall of Ogradhad: Under the leadership of retired priest Ossic Frostbeard, the library of Urguan has been greatly restored though there is still large efforts left to improve. The Rhun Prophet calls all scholars amongst the workers and their kin to offer their services towards not just donating new books, but authoring archives with dwarven wisdom to share with the world from the library. ACTIVITIES 16th of The Deep Cold: An alchemical ammunition craft to create cannon shots more capable of felling dragons. Using techniques led by the Rhun Prophet Norli Starbreaker, we shall harness the Rhun within many herbs to enchant runes of the cannon shots that will make them far more devastating, though much assistance will be needed in this. [OOC: 4:30 PM EST, Tuesday 7/12] 14th of Snow's Maiden: A cave leech hunt led by Garedyn Mossborn, rallying at the capital of Kal'Darakaan before sallying forth to a cavern to kill monsters within that provide a hazard to our prospectors. [OOC: 2:00 PM EST, Wednesday 7/13] 15th of Malin’s Welcome: A sculpting lesson led by Garedyn Mossborn within the capital of Kal'Darakaan. Workers will learn stonemasonry and how to discern shape from within a block of stone. [OOC: 4:00 PM EST, Thursday 7/14] 17th of Malin’s Welcome: A preliminary expedition into the deep roads led by Khubuc Irongrinder. Workers shall scout out potential mining spots, as well as any hazards to prepare for in future expeditions. The Legion is explicitly invited to attend, for any dangers that may await. [OOC: 5:00 PM EST, Thursday 7/14] 14th of The Grand Harvest: A second Rhun Feast at the temple of the Worldmaker to discuss the activities of the week prior and of the week to come, and celebrate the successes of the Workforce. Potential for a craftsmanship project depending on the events of the year preceding. [OOC: 2:00 PM EST, Saturday 7/16] NARVAK OZ BRATHMORDAKIN [OOC: Sorry for delay, I wanted this out on Sunday but got distracted with some other things, even with most of it pre-written up before the weekend. If someone is willing to help me write these and can copy my style/ handly me going back and editing, then I'd appreciate the help! This is the beginning of a format to RPly outline the current events of the Workforce. This will likely be either every week or every other week, depending on how I think it goes this week. I hope this helps keep people informed on RP opportunities through an RP medium, not just asking on discord :) ]
  10. After successfully passing another law spontaneously at the last Senate moot, the Rhun Prophet sneaks into the Obsidian Vault and finds the Articles of Urguan. He tenderly rests his hand on them, and plants a kiss at the header of the document. "Dunnae worry kids, I will nae let anyone hurt you." He lets out a content sigh, knowing that retroactive legislation and thus the degredation of dwarven society was fought off for another year. Once again the Brathmordakin bested Bureaucracy.
  11. please don't raise the bid on foxy mommy xarkly really wanted it
  12. Yes, he wanted this one too, i'll be paying conor#8203 xarkly foxy mommy - 50
  13. conor#8203 xarkly dragon knight - 601
  14. Master of the Forge Depths of Urguan, Norli laughs at the notice. He beckons over one of his many apprentices, "Goodness, ef they think this is a lot, then they must've never seen a proper armory!"
  15. The Rhun Prophet blinks, "Well, I wasn't going to say it."
  16. A Longbeard takes off his mask, letting his beard fumble in the open air. There was a death in the dell, and a hanging sense of gloom. He set his iron mask into the hill, offered a prayer to Dungrimm, and mounted his iron ram. Lives were lost, but the Glory of Urguan was found at the battle of Acre.
  17. The prophet of the dwarves wiggles his brows at reading the news. He looked over to a depiction of Zahrer Irongrinder, Hero of dwarves and snow elven patron god of unreasonable warmongering. "Is this really how it goes?"
  18. A fellow dwed scholar speaks with his kin, "I swear, yrromar in our day would know their research."
  19. Within the innermost sanctum of the Temple of the World Maker, the Rhun Prophet pondered current events. He had danced with the danger of open global war during his own reign, and had learned to hate the disruption and chaos heralded by war. Now his Grand King and the coalition had thumped their fist on the delicate design of Yemekar, and would seek to hold it firmly in place by pure strength. If they won, they would humble the Kingdom of Oren and enemies of the coalition. If they lost, the humbling of the heavens would be far worse than that of mortal men. It was not a gambit he would make, but the die were cast and soon the world would see. He quoted an old human epic with a solemn expression; "Alea iacta est."
  20. A dwarven prophet wonders when the sons of Urguan shouted for joy when the Archdrakaar did anything in these current lands.
  21. Hey, appreciate the plugin! I'm sure it'll defo make managing some stuff easier. Only feedback or thought I have is that to consider a way to be part of multiple realms, even if one is a 'primary' realm. If the goal is to make managing things easier, and the managing of things is meant to reflect roleplay, then there are plenty of times where someone is part of multiple 'groups' at once. I also think having a consideration for vassals within Nations would be good in the current way the server works. Mika gives a good example of Lubba keep and etc. But it's a fantastic foundation, and your work is appreciated.
  22. I'd like to add on to the conversation that I really do think that a transition period would be better for Roleplay, though I don't think it was idea that settlements/nations wouldn't have their tile before hand to pre-design a city- just that they'd have to do RP effort to make that city with a time frame, not start out with a massive capital.
  23. again with the troop movement cost thing, the tile transfer is obv for conquest to be allowed not to decrease troop movement smh
  24. Rhun Prophet Norli Starbreaker spins in his... hospital bed.
