  1. Celeste'Tol began her work again in the fields, tending to the cattle and the lands. Though not as tough as iron, a forest dwarf has leather to get made, and hungry bellies to fill. She hooked her till into the ground with a grunt, dragging it back along the soil to split it open. With a light smile, the dwed took care to imagine that said dirt was Philip III's face. "Bloodstained grounds grow teh best wheat.." The dwedess chuckled, hooking her till into another section of soil.
  2. Not many things had ever caused the dwarfess grief. Her mother's disappearance had brought some amount of tears, but this felt different. Something was different here, a friend she had made just more than a century ago. In dwarven terms it was hardly that long, but Gildroc's praise was one she had to earn, and as such the loss was altogether more painful. A solemn Celeste'Tol Blackroot knelt beside the shrine of Dungrimm, a small collection of incense sticks set into a jar of gold dust. The dwarfess lit them with a small flicker on her fingertips, grey heavy smoke slowly billowing down to cover the stone below. "Yeh di'nae have teh do this, yeh knowh..." A soft, though strained voice pulled itself from the grieving dwed. "But ahm sure et's teh way yeh would rather go, makin a grand display ef et all. A showmaster tae teh end..." A small plunk of water upon stone as a tear dripped from her cheek. "May Dungrimm's halls treat yeh well, Gildroc.."
  3. Hans would not have known for some time, no- the second born of the Alstreims had only known wrong when his father and brother returned alone. "Where is he?" he would ask, though hardly given a look by his brother and his father barely able to utter the answer. The young Alstreim would not be seen for days afterwards, locking himself inside his tower and refusing to come out. He would not even speak through the door. He did not appear at dinner, not at church, not at gatherings. Locked away inside his tower, the boy left by himself to grieve. What if there are no happy endings?
  4. The High Chief could only hope it hadn't been her fault. She knew, of course, the most likely cause for leave- the fateful time, in the depths of malflame and chaos. "May Anbella guide yeh, Boreh.." The dwed planted her offering above Anbella's shrine, muttering a prayer. Perhaps Bori would come back someday, she was unsure if he still lived, but maybe there was still a chance. With a hint of druidic energy, a small sapling took root above the path of the gods, soon to offer shade to dwarves making the mountain journey.
  5. Unaware of Dorumnir's fate, Celeste found herself knelt once more at Anbella's shrine, gazing up in silent sorrow. It seemed all too often that friends and family would just.. Disappear... Drawing a bottle and some wooden sticks from her side, she placed them within and flickered to light the wooden ends, a small offering in hopes that this lost soul might one day come home.
  6. Hans Lorenz von Alstreim prepares an argument as to why he should be at least a prince in this new child kingdom. He will offer macaroons as a gift!
  7. A young boy, hardly six scanned across the letter his father had left on his desk. Hans von Alstreim mumbled to himself, a hand moving to grip the collar of his ever-present canine as he recalled the penance walk. "Cardinal," he spoke to the dog beside him. "We muzt never do wrong lyke that, ja?" Another thought crossed him, the boy caught for a moment in a vision of his own. What if he had done wrong? It caused a mild shake to think of himself ragged and walking like Otto. "We zhould study the zcript more.. I think I might be Gott-fearing and man-fearing."
  8. Man I would love a cursed diadem going around +1 this would start awesome rp
  9. Celeste'Tol Snorted "Loike ah brother es gonneh get 'urt.. Nae, t'is bounteh es bullshoite. Ah 'ope teh Archdrui see teh same.."
  10. A dwarven woman offered a snort to the letter, swiping it to the side in her pile of paperwork. "Focken 'ell.. T'ere's ah conflict an teh umreh cannae wait teh claim et 'eretical an shoite.. Ohh nae, ah nae follow yer shoite 'ttempt at fait'.." Celeste shifted a hand to the lightning bolt charm that hung around her neck, clasping it for a few moments tight. "..Ah 'ope tey nae star'ed ah war alreadeh wit'out meh.. T'is es gonnae beh wun 'ell ef ah grudge.."
  11. A small boy watched from his bedroom window, wrapped tightly in one of his father's spare robes. It was difficult to see quite clearly, though a flickering lantern passing over the hill brought his attention from his toys. Josef Rohan gazed on from within the barony as the light moved slowly by, scurrying to the balcony of his bedroom. He could see only the faintest glow of the figure's face, though it caused the child to scurry back in a rush..! Josef raced back off the balcony and into the barony, shouting. "Mamej! Ea saw the boogieman!
  12. Celeste'Tol Blackroot scanned through the missive, a small frown crossing her face, though it was not in any distaste. "Urguan an et's people are soh scattered, weh need teh bring our kin back teh prepare.. Ahll need teh discuss our standin' in teh next meetin'." The high chief set the missive aside, adding another scribbled note for the next Hefrumm meeting.

  14. 𝓓𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓴𝓼 '𝓷 𝓣𝓲𝓷𝓴𝓼 Tira othok'koss anarmar, yno'ka'az rullok, yoth korth ath yno'yemka yoth tira'geron Use your hands, he said, for they are meant for working -=- The dwed of Urguan have long been known for their craftsmanship, though even between ourselves we may not know all. Just as Yemekar once did, our mortal bones were forged and fingers sewn to follow in our creator’s footsteps. It is in our blood to craft and create, though perhaps just as much as to drown in hearty drink. With such said, I invite all those who follow to join us in Hefruum for drinking and tinkering, an event to fill the tavern with laughter and enjoyment. Bring your friends and your kin to enjoy a lesson in craftsmanship. A secret Hefruum specialty brew will be served, and a lesson will be given in a craft, be it Hefruum’s wooden works, or Urguan’s skill in metal, come and join us for a grand time. The gathering will be held in the Sugary *** Tavern within Dol’Anym (Hefruum). This year’s lesson will be taught by Celeste’Tol Blackroot on the art of woodcarving, specifically detailing for your craftsmanship. Supplies will be provided at the event, so just make sure to bring your working hands! Dinner will be served for those in attendance after the lesson, at the Wooden Mountain Inn below the tavern. All food will be provided, though extra drinks are available for purchase. Stays at the inn will be discounted for the event, only two minas per person per night. OOC: The event will be held in Hefruum’s tavern on Sunday, September 26th. It will start at 2:00PM EST. Bring your friends!

  16. Celeste'Tol grit her teeth as she read the missive, a tinge of upset both with herself and the Doomforged. "Ah gave 'em ah chance teh save 'im, bot nae.." She let out a light huff, pressing her fingers against the paper. "Et nae had teh be t'is way." The dwed frowned, muttering a prayer.

  18. Celeste'Tol Blackroot caught the declaration as her owl circled down from above, unfurling the paper with great interest. The dwed scanned the paper before thrusting one fist into the sky, letting out a cheer only the trees could really hear. "Aye, t'at's 've web duh et!" She grinned with pride as she returned to her trek. "Yeh show em pa, show em good."
