Mali’thill,

In the name of Larihei, and of the dead generations from which she receives her old tradition of nationhood - Haelun’or, through us, summons her children to her sigil and strikes for her freedom.

We declare the will of the people of Haelun’or to the ownership of Haelun’or, and to unfettered control of Haelunorian destinies, to be sovereign and indefeasible. The long usurpation of that right by a foreign people and government has not extinguished this will, nor can it ever be extinguished except by the destruction of the Haelunorian people. In every generation, the Haelunorian people have asserted their will to national freedom and sovereignty; twice in the last decade, against She who never was, and the False Sohaer. Standing on that fundamental resolve, and again asserting it in arms in the face of the world, we hereby proclaim the Republic of Haelun’or as a Sovereign Independent State, and we pledge our lives and the lives of our comrades-in-arms to the cause of its freedom, of its welfare, and of its exaltation among the nations.

The Republic of Haelun’or is entitled to, and hereby claims the allegiance of every Haelunorian. The Republic guarantees civil liberties, as laid out in The Silver Constitution, and declares its resolve to pursue Larihei’s Vision, and the prosperity of all its parts, cherishing all the children of the nation equally and oblivious of the differences carefully fostered by an alien government, which have divided a minority from the majority in the past.

Until our arms have brought the opportune moment for the establishment of a permanent National Government, representative of the whole people of Haelunor and elected by the suffrages of her Mali’thill, the Provisional Government, hereby constituted, will administer the Civil and Military affairs of the Republic in trust for the people.

We place the cause of the Haelunorian Republic under the guidance of the ancient, traditional teachings of the Most Blessed Larihei. In this supreme hour, the Haelunorian nation must, by its valor and discipline and by the readiness of its children to sacrifice themselves for the common good, prove itself worthy of the argent destiny to which it is called.

Neither Malieir, nor Maruthir!

Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya

Signed,

 The Provisional Government of Haelun’or.

"Wow, such a good republic!" She watched as the republicans are forced out of her city without resistance.

A Fennic Peacekeeper from the lands of snow mutters to himself, exhaustion staining his tone as he pressed gauntleted digits against his forehead in annoyance.

"It's far too warm here, truly." He comments, watching Republican forces disappear behind bushes every time he looks their way.

Ayred Drakon sits idle in the Haelun'orian tavern, donning his blue berret for the first time with a number of Fennic comrades. "Wyrvun, I hate peace keeping duty..." The elf mutters. "I wish the republicans would just show their faces instead of hiding amongst the civilians like cowards..."

April starts to rip her hair out at the mention of the republic, as if she was truly troubled by it! "Well isn't this guy the face of mr. Democracy?"

The elfess breathed off a snort at such a notion, speaking out in humor "This is as if peasants stood in front of the Orenian palace and declared themselves godking emperor. Truely what a poor reflection of us." She sighed before simply tossing aside the paper like this months newest flavor of drama magazine.

"Tsk. Talking about a dead ***** as though she's a god." Chuckled Valindra from her home. "You're almost as religious as the 'fenn you despise."

A grey-eyed 'thill seated in the square clutched a copy of the missive, examining its contents with apparent enthusiasm.

"Progress is the republic," He affirmed.

Malaurir Ikur "Ikur Sullas" Sullas -- famous restaurateur and local Republic enthusiast -- puts the missive in a lovely frame and hangs it in the foyer, next to the copy of his Okarir'tir appointment by Kalenz Uradir in the 15th century 1E. Eighteen and a half minutes later he rises from his incredibly comfy chair to adjust the framed missive, as it was off-kilter by about three degrees. He resumes his perusing of Hansetian sports news in the paper.

A handsome sailor plays his lyre openly in the streets! Noticing the fennites seething over the various privileges and rights given to them the blessed citizens, and coping at how they must serve to build the kingdoms of others instead of their own. "Hear thee, slaves of worms! Though you expect your overwhelming force to be met by ours, you must first know that the blessed republicans are the blessed citizenry, and the blessed citizenry is the blessed Republic! Chide not the truth, for you all know it! You build not the kingdom of yourself, but that of another! You find yourself, with every turn showing truer and true your colors! Inducting tyrants? Bah! It's as if you try hiding you wish to ENSLAVE US! To bow before TYRANTS!"

Valazaer taps his chin, having simply sat, not at all accosted during the day by the Lubba and Fenn invaders. His eyes scan the city as he ponders for the longest of moments. He murmurs to some of his friends. "They truly believe they are doing, right.. Don't they? elMali'fenn?" He waves a dismissive hand, "This tyranny will not last long. Haelun'or is the people, Karinah'siol is the city. The city may fall, but our ways will never." He says wisely, "Thank goodness for the republic, bringing out democracy amongst the blessed citizens. They will be the people that Haelun'or goes to, it is the will of Larihei."

"Oh by Larihei!" a woman shouted through the streets as she franticly dashed through the streets, a sweat forming upon her brow, she was just informed that Vaarus had written another missive "I hate this Hydra beast that claims to speak for us! I pity his followers! As they often abandon each other, like rats scattering at the first sign of trouble! NE LONGER WILL WE SUFFER THESE FOOLS! RESIST THEM MY LLIRAN, RESIST THEM AT EVERY POINT!" she manically shouted, as she made her way through the streets. Preparing to give address.

A radical republican, drunk by the nostalgia of former times, receives this missive with rejuvenated activity. He brandishes an unremarkable dagger in his room, preparing himself mentally to rid his blessed city of the 'fennic pest that has been genociding his people of late. "Give me liberty, or give me death!" he cries, ready to rally at the Republic's call.

“Rise to the challenge, Children of Silver, rid the realm of the dark and evil. Only then may we find peaceful procurement of progress and health!" quoted Liewyn with a cheerful smile.
