ErikAzog 3339 Popular Post Share Posted July 19, 2023 14th of Sigismund’s End, 67 BA In the early hours of the day, the Princess of Monterosa was seen heading toward the docks and using a small sailboat to take off the coast of Balian. Princess Johanna, often known for being an adventurous spirit, was known for enjoying her morning rides- so no second thought was given. It wasn’t until a storm was reported to have formed in the direction the Crown Princess departed that his Majesty, King Adrian ordered the Marines of the Royal Balianese Armada to begin searching the coast and sending rescue boats to find the missing Princess. Instead, all that was found was the wreckage. It is with a heavy heart, the Royal Family announces the passing of Johanna Casimira. libertyybelle 5475 Share Posted July 19, 2023 The Palatiodora sat in her quiet home, husband and children away on a trip, and soaked in the news. With every passing tick of the clock- the heaviness of such an instance weighed further upon her shoulders. "She was so young." Muttered Nicoletta, eyes glazed over with a blank expression. She didn't have the energy or the understanding to weep. So she only sat.
Kholibrii 979 Share Posted July 19, 2023 Eirene went about her daily activities as much as possible, given the circumstances her parents and tutors wished to provide the young princess with an abundance of activities to distract her mind. Despite any attempts by the adults around her, all tasks and studies sent her way were completed in silence with a blank stare and all-black attire. No matter how much anyone tried, they couldn't hide pain from her.

annanicole__ 1622 Share Posted July 19, 2023 Andromeda Ester closed her eyes as the news of her oldest daughter's death became public. In her mind, the Queen went back to Johanna's birth date. Looking up at the sky, Andromeda noticed a silver comet streaking across the sky, trailing over the entire Mont Monterosa and vanishing just beyond the desert horizon. "My comet... my ven," Andromeda said as she opened her eyes again, now at the beach at the Palatio Arancione, Adrian, Andromeda, and Johanna playing in the sand. "She-she isn't gone, Adrian.. she just went to Ba'as right.. she went to see my Imma." Andromeda then closed her eyes again, her mind transporting her elsewhere, the Queen of Balian gradually losing herself as grief set in. This time they're at the Balian fairgrounds, Johanna riding Tobias and the Panda yelling "Basho!" She triumphed in the joust. "Bas-sho..." She raises her hands to her head and screams, which can be heard throughout the Palatio Arancione. "Mitras!! Hashok Ya Mitras!" she exclaimed. Andromeda remained silent for the next few days, spending time alone in her room. The Queen is only leaving for her daughter's funeral.

Wavey 1493 Share Posted July 19, 2023 The Amiratus of Balian signs the Hussariyan as a shaky sigh escaped his lips, "A great tragedy." He murmured, "However, His Majesty must be assured that his council will be by his side during these trying times." As he said those words, the Amiratus's thoughts now went to his own children, his heart now longing to keep them protected at all costs.
TreeSmoothie 5139 Share Posted July 20, 2023 "Oh." A young girl looked looked to the missive, holding it with trembling hands. Her brows knit as a look of woe washed over her face. "She's... what?" [reserved, will edit with more soon]
Andustar 2262 Share Posted July 20, 2023 Spoiler This revelation struck Albéric deeply, sorrow emanating from the wound that was his student's passing. Where exactly had he gone wrong? Was there a lesson or perhaps a measure of guidance that could have prevented this tragedy? Alas, he would never know, and the prospect he had so much hope for would be denied a true chance to shine. "Johanna... I'm so sorry..." The Knight clutched the talisman strung around his neck, his prayers offered to the comet-born Princess, now lost to the primordial seas.
zuziee 3265 Share Posted July 20, 2023 Marlene found herself frozen upon hearing of the news - having almost called Johanna a friend. She’d go off in search of her Tante at that, hoping Aleksandra could brighten this stormy ending.
LazyBacon220 339 Share Posted July 20, 2023 Casimir Vilac stared at the missive in a stunned silence. It was not long ago that the young Princess of Monterosa bragged to him about naming the new Barony of Valio. His mind went back to that court session.. as the Lord knelt before his cousin, His Majesty. As Johanna stepped down the dais and draped him in a cloak... It was the simple things to the Vilac that made Johanna special. Not her birthright nor her panda, Tobias, or even her boisterous spirit. It was her love of life. The tenacity she showed and her ever present optimism for the future. It gave Casimir hope.. but nothing lasts forever...
