  1. The newest Grand Chamberlaine smiles with pride. "I cannot wait." Marisol hung the missive in her office, "Finally, a moment of real magic."
  2. "She ran from danger, a war she did not want to start." Marisol read the missive when it was delivered to her office in Petra. "And this why." The paper was crumbled, thrown aside. "She did not want her people to suffer. We should not suffer. They shouldn't suffer." The lady continued to speak madness to the brick wall.
  3. In her small garden, Marisol planted a flower in honor of the fallen knight. "May he rest peacefully."
  4. The Court Deputy read over the missive once, twice, then thrice. She was in shock of the sudden retirement, running over to her dearest friend (@Phersades). "This isn't real, is it?"
  5. PRESENTS RISE OF THE FIRE QUEEN ☼ PENNED BY ☼ ☼ ON ATSTANA DE REGNE PETRÈRE 100 ☼ ☼ - INTRODUCTION ☼ - LITTLE WINGS ☼ - BERNARD ☼ - ARMORED BLAZE ☼ - FIERY’S ASCEND ☼ - THE QUEEN Before we begin, I would like to thank Prince Paul Alexander for bringing me to the courts of the Petra. I am extremely honored to hold the position of Court Deputy and Mistress of Robes, allowing me to further expand my talents. For my first piece of Petreres Vêtements (c. Fashion of the River), shall be dedicated to our current monarch, Catherine I. From her beginning days as a princess to our beloved Queen. She was originally titled as the Duchess of Seventis on Atstana de Regne Petrère eighty-two, before taking the title of Archduchess of Vallagne, two months after. Then she would take the throne in the year ninety-nine, just one year before the one hundred birthday of the Commonwealth. This edition will be showcasing five iconic looks of her lifetime, this is for you, Catherine. ⬞[A reflection of the white dove, a small bird typically found in the south of Petra]⬞ ☼ IE CORT ☼ The dress was created with a special type of fabric, allowing it to be dyed repeatedly (without ruining the dress), creating an ombre effect in some areas. It was successful, showcasing the white transitioning into shades of gray. By the neckline, a simple golden oval brooch was attached, securing a dark gray cape. It hung elegantly, creating a whimsical feel. ☼ IE JEL ☼ A golden tiara was made for the Princess, bearing no jewel or engraving. It featured a curve on the top, creating a graceful look of a royal. The gold was able to shine on its own, without it being overthrown by gems. It was a statement piece of itself. Red roses and pink tulips were added on the sides, giving a more youthful look. .︵○︵. ⬞[The start of the red, appearing in Catherine’s clothes, becoming more expressive]⬞ ☼ IE CORT ☼ The name was bestowed by the Queen of the Commonwealth, meticulously fashioned to embody grace and sophistication, mirroring her regal stature. It was created with luxurious scarlet silk-like fabric, carrying intricate golden embroidery, resembling her Majesty's favorite flower: the wild iris. A teal velvet cape gracefully followed behind, being attached with a chain, created with Petran gold. ☼ IE JEL ☼ The crown had a different name compared to the rest, claiming the name of ‘Life of Petra’. It carried exactly thirty-two gemstones, fourteen Renilde rubies, ten pure Paulen pearls, and eight black onyx stones - reflecting the colors of the Petran flag. The base of it was made from Petran gold, carrying the honor and spirit of the Commonwealth. .︵○︵. ⬞[A drastic change in clothing when war started to show at Petra’s front door]⬞ ☼ IE CORT ☼ Crafted for the Queen, her armor was a fusion of regal grace and fortified strength. The armor set was quite plain since it was not a fashion piece, but something for defense and protection. However, a red cape was added, strands of gold chain and jewels hung behind. ☼ IE JEL ☼ One of the first crowns to only carry Renilde rubies, signifying her rise to the throne. The base of the crown is crafted with fine, detailed filigree work, forming delicate patterns all around. The elegance of the rubies created a symphony of color and brilliance, complementing the Queen. Gold lorraine crosses were added to the front and back, representing her faith. .︵○︵. ⬞[The return of dresses for a brief moment, continuing the red theme]⬞ ☼ IE CORT ☼ A crimson gown made for Her Majesty, in honor of her upcoming coronation, her childhood coming to an end. As the dress descends, it gradually transitions into a mesmerizing display of yellow flames, embroidered along the hemline. It contrasted well against the red backdrop, creating a sense of powerful intensity. ☼ IE JEL ☼ The crown from before was recreated with darker Petran gold, resembling the yellow in flames. A matching necklace was made, delicately crafted with the same gold. It glimmers with a subtle glow in the light. .︵○︵. ⬞[Queen Catherine’s coronation armor]⬞ ☼ IE CORT ☼ For her coronation, a black gown was made with lavish white fur lining, as golden embellishments catch the light. The dress transitions into a chest plate with golden details, polished enough to give it a glimmer. Completing the ensemble is a red cape, matching the colors of the Petran flag. It drapes behind, symbolizing the power and authority. ☼ IE JEL ☼ The red crown makes an appearance once more, now with an added accessory. White fur was added to the helm of the crown, representing her royal lineage and title as Petra’s second Queen. To end this piece, I would like to thank my mother, Isana, for believing in me. And thank you, the reader, for reading this. HER MOST HONORABLE, Marisol Paloma Solís Court Deputy, Mistress of the Robes, Curator of Jewels of the River Court of the Commonwealth, Assistant Head Physician of the Vallagne Medical Society, Founder of Rosa Dorada, and Protector of the Sun
  6. The Jervotiz Keep is one of the many reasons why I still played in Haense back in the day. It was a beautiful build with everything we needed. To a secret storage room, to an alchemy lab, to dozens of rooms for future generations of Kortrevich's. There wasn't a day when rp wasn't happening at our keep. All thanks to @MissToni, @0zark, and @FROGyml for our build. <3
  7. Mari spun in her room, showing her newest title to her family.
  8. There was a scream, followed by a cry. Mari stared at the cane that was given to her long ago by the van Aert. “I’m sorry you didn’t get a chance to live a better life.”
  9. The young princess, Eriantiel, clapped, proud of her mother and her nation.
  10. "I have not fought, I've been hidden." Markus Yves stares at the missive, "Perhaps I can go. Right?"
  11. Mari admired the little doodles and color of the newspaper.
  12. Markus Yves van Aert polishes his father's swords, unsure of the outcome.
  13. Mari blinked, surprised it wasn't Artel (@Destructokeith).
  14. Marisol Solís hung up the missive in her shop, proud of the coat of arms she had created (under SEVERE stress). "At least it's done. May we win."
  15. Odetta von Alstreim welcomed her brother in the Seven Skies. "You've done well, you can rest now."
  16. Mari smiled, happy to be a witness for such an alliance.
  17. Mari attended to her garden, planting a new flower for the fallen von Theonus.
  18. ☼ WRITTEN BY ☼ ☼ ON ATSTANA DE REGNE PETRÈRE 96 ☼ The older I’ve gotten, the more I feel like at home within the Commonwealth. I’ve grown to appreciate the people, their work, and the memories I’ve created there. Since new beginnings are happening, I’ve decided to make something special for the two important families of Petra. The regal crown is a statement of its own, meticulously crafted to embody wealth, prosperity, and strength for a ruler. The base of the piece was made out of Petran Aurum, more durable than most. It contained exactly thirty-two gemstones; fourteen Renilde rubies, ten pure Paulen pearls, and eight black onyx stones. They were set into the crown all around, complementing each other and varying in shape to keep its authenticity. To also resemble a kingdom, having imperfections. The harmonious fusion of the jewels brought out the spirit of the nation, claiming its name as “Life of Petra”. Originally made for Her Royal Majesty, Catherine I of the Commonwealth of Petra, however it can be adjusted for any successor. -.○.- -{ Creator’s Note }- While staring at my sketch board, I had no idea what I wanted to make for the Queen. I took my books and charcoal, making my way to the library. My first thought was to review the history of Petra and see what their relics are. As I read through, I was mainly inspired by the ones that were named after the Holy Orenian Empire, the Kingdom of Oren, and their people. The idea came to me right then and there. I was going to make a crown based on the colors of Petra and their notable figures, honoring the land. I also named the rubies after Her Royal Majesty, Renilde I and the pearls after His Grace, Paul I as a tribute to the founders of the Commonwealth. .︵☼︵. Bernard, a name given by the Queen of the Commonwealth, is a piece for her. It's tailored to embrace grace and elegance, reflecting the royal title. Made from silk like scarlet fabric, carries golden embroidery throughout. The thread forms a pattern of the Queen’s favorite flower, the wild iris. The cape had a velvety texture, dyed in a royal neptune teal. Despite the cape being simple, it had the feel of lavishness as it wraps around the arms but allows movement for the wearer. It was long enough to reach the floor, having a tail that extends far beyond the hemline. To accentuate the dress, golden chains were added, delicately draped along the cape's hem and fastened at the shoulders, adding a touch of royal decadence. -.○.- -{ Creator’s Note }- At this point, I knew I wanted to make something that resembled the Queen herself, allowing her to have her own identity. The color palette had to be changed for this piece, however I kept the gold and red of the crown, to reflect her Petran heritage. Knowing her favorite flower, I made sure to incorporate it within the dress, by making a subtle design with golden thread. From afar, it seems like the gold was piled up together but upon a closer look, someone could tell it was wild irises. I struggled with the cape, I will admit. It was difficult to choose a color when white and black were out of the question. However, by taking another glance at the flower, I went with a dark teal. .︵☼︵. A circlet crafted with the same material as “Life of Petra”, Petran aurum. It was designed to be plain but with a slight touch of distinction. Adorning the circlet are sapphire gemstones, in reference to His Excellency, Sir Konstantin von Theonus of the Commonwealth of Petra. The middle stone was shaped into a rectangular cut as the ones on the sides were cut into fine rounds, accentuating the circlet's design with a sense of harmony and balance. The piece is an honor for House von Theonus and Sir Konstantin, thanking them for all of their recent hard work. -.○.- -{ Creator’s Note }- Alongside the Queen, I had to make something for the Guardian of Petra. Sir Konstantin is a simple man, therefore I made a simple circlet. I chose gold for the base and sapphire stones since they correlate to the colors of House von Theonus. I was aware that he didn’t want anything too flashy or extravagant, making this the perfect piece for him. .︵☼︵. To honor the Guardian of Petra, this piece was made for him. The tunic itself was made from silk, dyed in a deep red. Delicate and intricate golden embroidery covers the tunic, resembling the sun calling out to House von Theonus. Matching the base, the cape was in similar color, having a velvet texture. Unlike the other cape, it did not have a train behind, in case of a battle or a run. Resting on the shoulders was a smaller cape, made from black fur from bears, keeping the wearer warm. To hold the pieces together, a silver long chain draped across. -.○.- -{ Creator’s Note }- Despite His Excellency being a simple man, I decided to do something different for the clothing. When he took up the position as the Lord Regent of Petra, he needed something diplomatic, having the colors of his family and Petra. I started with the coat, having a similar feel of the Queen’s cape but I added black fur this time. The tunic has embroidery as well, having a pattern of the sun which is seen on the crest of the von Theonus. Even if he didn’t wear the circlet, I added a silver chain to hold the cape together. The chain adorned sapphires, another reference to his family. .︵☼︵. Assistant Head Physician of Petra, Founder of Rosa Dorada, and Protector of the Sun
