its a big base of the modern human lore, shelving it would essentially tear down a big part of that culture spread between the islands. if you do this you hate player lore.

Yes, and they shoud apply to the more tech-wise races, Dwarves and Humans. It’s time to become serious and understand that fire-arms are completely setting appropiate for anything that would resemble medieval-themed fantasy. Guns have been in heavy use in the eastern world since the mid-13th century and were in mainstream use all across medieval europe by the 14th century. It’s not cardboard armor and cardboard swords. It’s time to grow up.

nice, though it could have been worded a bit better, you don’t need to explain it with IQ and such, kinda makes the culture less realistic and more shallow. otherwise, +1.

I think having a subtle hint to creation myths or something like a nice nature-swept ruin as a spawn point would be nice. Not a lot of life around, just a nice plain of ruins, a la stonehenge, with a treeline in the distance.

Also I don’t know why this isn’t talked about but a roleplay that relies on immersion and lore changing maps magically every year is getting old. A map that is made with love and made to LAST at least 2 years is what LoTC has needed since Anthos.

Map structure is wrong, it basically encloses the rp activity around extremely restrictive “nation” tiles, and makes reaching non nation tile regions extremely hard. That, coupled with the bad regioning system and chartering system this map, makes lotc feel stale in areas where activity is less consistent, which will generate ghost towns speckled on the road or road whereabouts.

“What’s Cresonia? All these random kingdoms that I can’t even find in the dynmap!!!” Complains Warjon.

Nerf treb damage if you don’t want Fort Loches, dumb.... The war equipment and the war is like league of legends, a metagame. There’s good options, strong options, players will always go for the strongest options. In the current plugin structure, Fort Loche like structures, very wide, very tall cubic forts is the best. this is how castles were designed irl, they were designed as the strongest thing they could build, and these “PVP” forts is what is best in minecraft PVP, and LoTC warfare. Change the meta, change the castles. It’s simple. Nerf Treb Damage, allow it not to do a lot of damage to walls, and you’ll get better looking castles again. - A MessyMedieval Builder. @Fireheart
