  1. Maelstrom looks upon the missive and fears for the future. Phrases dance into his mind haunting him in his sleep, "Yeessss queennnnnnn. Periodt. " He has heard enough...
  2. A mali'ker finds in his possession a note, he glances over it slightly, about to discard it before he sees the name of the author, "Svi'al..." Suddenly the name reenters his consciousness in its true form. He clenches his fist tightly crumpling the paper. He looks onwards down the street in anger.
  3. "When is someone going to genocide the children of Haense?", a Mali'ker thinks to himself as he cringes at the flier.
  4. From within a dark cave a letter is penned, "To the Rt. Honorable Gusiam Jusmia, I, Cyrus of Stygian Hollow, ask kindly to remove any reference to our homeland. The one known as Vulmir has no legal residency within our walls and we are unaware of any visitation that he may have had here." With warm regards, Cyrus of Stygian Hollow
  5. A note has been posted on the Surgeon General's office "Contains chemicals known to cause cancer"
  6. Rest in peace brother, you will be dearly missed. I will miss hopping onto the Messy Medieval server and you giving me a tour of some of the lesser touched building styles that you'd bring to life. Thank you for helping me build Mordskov back in the day and for being a good friend. Until the next time, tell the big man upstairs I said hello.
  7. I will forever cherish the memories we shared my brother.

  8. Freebuild offers fluidity to politics and new cultures/player bases. For a long time during freebuild maps we didnt have much of a world team to moderate the quality of a build. The nation and charter system now is too restrictive to the creativity of the player bases. I've always been a fan of freebuild as long as the buildings are made with care and the server in mind and not being solely some survival gameplay in the corner of the map. Freebuild definitely shouldn't be directly on the main road but also shouldn't be too far away from the action either. One of my proudest builds were in the wilds of last map. I had a nice house on an island I built like some madman in Dubai and nobody bothered me and I had a safe place to store my belongings with increasing political change if I ever went inactive for a bit.
  9. "When will somewhere tell these 'thill, that the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice", ponders a Mali'ker.
  10. "Nobody wants these posh white folks", says a melanin rich elf.
  11. A Mali'ker recognizes Evar'tir as the blackest of the black.
  12. "This dawn can certainly be no blacker than me" says a Mali'ker.
  13. LOTC means the desolation of my love life. <3
  14. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Folly of Elvenesse ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The drums of war are never a joyous sound, but oftentimes present themselves as an absolute necessity to a greater end... The elves within the leadership of Elvenesse reign as unholy alchemists, turning those who they could call friends and allies into enemies. And thus such a nation that fashioned itself after the ideas of Malinor has fallen into a paranoid stupor. They have ordered and poisoned the minds of their people to hate without reason and justification, creating a culture of isolation and suspicion amongst their population. The populace of Elvenesse knows little of the aggressions and actions of their leadership towards other factions of Mali and the lack of respect they receive from all other recognized nation states across Almaris. It is thus, within our spirits, that we must come to see the general population as brothers and sisters underneath the watchful eye of Father Malin. For it is not they who have sinned against the ideals of Mali culture, but the highest echelons of their leadership. I call forth to you, sons and daughters of Elvenesse; turn away from people and nations that no longer serve you or your future. The nation state that reigns over the domain that you walk, quakes in fear from the might of a united elven front against them. This aggression is only the consequence of actions taken by the leadership of Elvenesse and their cohorts to exile and isolate those that they deem are too unsafe to be around you. And thus the truth remains that they view you as cattle to be herded to their ideas, shunning any idea that deviates from the plans they have in store for you in their collective consciousness. Such a feeling of ownership over citizens of a nation is an unhealthy and unstable way to govern and cultivate a strong culture. It is this lack of a political culture and identity that makes them so quick to exile, isolate, and even execute or maim those that think differently from them. It is an inevitable truth that creating a long list of individual enemies will soon grow to see them collect together as one force against you. And such is the situation Elvenesse finds itself in, and due to this, greater Elfdom has grown to become more united than ever in this endeavour. We welcome you as our brothers and sisters, and such is our duty to each other. No political turmoil or world wars can get in the way of our duties to each other as the wider elven community. Many of you may find security and solace in the peaceful mountains of Malinor, others may find it in the crystal city of Haelun’or, or other smaller elven factions and territories. But the truth of the failure of your nation is beginning to unravel itself before your eyes as it did to me many years ago when I was exiled for little reason aside from a grudge. The smaller communities and friendships that you hold and cultivate are the only thing propping up the state of Elvenesse, when the reverse should exist; that the state creates a prosperous environment for all of its populace and provides them with ample security to thrive and raise their children. If you do so seek to, as I implore you, then in Malin’s name we welcome you back to the greater elven community. Brothers and sisters of Mali, we have much work to do. -Cyrus Inacrynn, Elder of Malinor -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  15. Cyrus eyes the missive from his tent in Little Malinor.
  16. There was not an option for cognac I am sorely depressed
  17. A warm smile leaps across the face of Cyrus Inacrynn, "The day has finally come; our dreams of Malinor manifest themselves back into the material plane." He turns to all those within the meeting before looking down upon the parchment, he dips the quill in the ink set aside before him and signs his name proudly.
  18. Cyrus remembers he has to pay his baby momma crotchfruit support
  19. Somewhere deep in a grove in the eastern grasslands of Almaris, a dark elf spots two elves journeying through a forest imbuing an ancient aura. He mutters to himself, "It seems the times we live in are a time of return and rebirth of many things..."
  20. I'm coming for those ancient scrolls!
