Not having OOCly backed nations? If people can't keep their nation alive, the rest of the server shouldn't feel required to support them. I don't think taking away nation status if it's a week or two is a good idea, but when it's a group like the Fenn (never had an active city for more than a month at a time) it's redundant to keep giving them special privileges. Just go ANCAP, let active ones declare war and clean up the map for the rest of us.

You can just freebuild yourself a nation at this point, smh. I don't get the need for protectionism when it comes to them.

I forgot there can't be nation roleplay because there can't be roleplay because people take everything personally and are terrified of negative interactions in character. There can't be compromise because everyone has to get exactly what they want, and if something happens in character that isn't what they expected they'll pitch a fit. It's a sad state but I guess it's the state the server is in.

Ultimately, nobody can force you to roleplay anywhere. While it's disappointing to see a playerbase so disconnected from the idea of compromising with anyone else or roleplaying outside of their friend circle, there's nothing to do about that. I just hope at some point you guys eventually realize you'll have a lot more creative freedom if you create your own D&D campaign or your own Minecraft server.

Eh, it's a meme that's used IRP. I just don't like it, won't use it anymore and can't take anything seriously ever if it has 'spook' in it. To me, it's no different than a character in RP going 'Let's bounce mang lol'.

tbf, it's easier to be open to everyone when you aren't really subject to much higher than average scrutiny or population sensitivity. (No one wails when human pop get's high).

In my experience as a relatively new player, other than Courland which seemed a bit cliquey to me, every other human nation's been very accepting to me (I was offered a tour of Norland, and reformed Oren acquired my services and has always been nothing but friendly to me). I'd say the only problem with human RP is the inexplicable need to mimic Game of Thrones/The Witcher, and an ongoing OOC grudge against Oren that seeps into RP.

lol I like teasing Oren but honestly new abersi was my favorite city behind old Ker'nor.
