AN OPEN LETTER TO THE HIGH PONTIFF

Eryane

The Duchess Auvergne glances over the paper with a frown upon her face. How odd it seemed to her that people were still trying to overthrow the Emperor and Empress. Regardless, Anne believed firmly into loyalty - and so, she signed within a heartbeat, bellowing; "OREN AUT MORTEM!"

Spoiler

ok but lets put this here right now:

Dont shit on people because of this. its incredibly immature and neither delaney nor eryane deserve the hate. just deal with it IRP and stop bringing OOC into it.

Arthur read the missive before signing it at the bottom, as  he did so he would think to himself

"i'll make sure Primrose  doesn't save the pontiff next time, then"

The Baron of Westfall sits in his office with his son Cesar: Now boy listen here and listen here good. The church is full of good people and faithful ones of that but this pontiff is nothing but a grade A ******* that dont care for his people nor the faithful, if he ran a company as you soon enough will on your own, that company would go right under.
You should never be a person like this so called man, it brings no one any good and the price for what he gains are not worth it.
Cesar would nod, while reading the letter

Luthriel tugged on her hair anxiously.  She fiddled with her eyepatch as she read the missive . . . then she re-read it.

"I am not entirely sure what is going on?  This pontiff has allied himself with some foreign power, Leopold, and is attempting to excommunicate the emperor of Oren?  That is what I think is happening . . . I really can't-"

She sighed, putting her head down on the table

"I need to be ever more diligent with my involvement in politics if I am to be a strong representative of Ebonwood."

James Fisher can only hope his fellow countrymen can win the war of blood and steel before the one of pen and paper "Some unity is good, but losing that siege was costly." the pale man would comment, looking back to his calendar as he awaits the four year mark.

“Their enemy is Vargengotz the Destroyer, who rules from his capital, which was the holiest city.

And in his army are Vargengotz’s slaves, the tyrants and the treacherous,

and his false servants, Justice, Glory, and Reward.

And Godfrey’s host meets them in battle upon the mountain.

Thus Godfrey raises the scepter of rebuke;

And lo! the command of GOD is justice, and the unjust are punished:

Vargengotz and his servants are destroyed.”

Auspice 2:33-38

Be wary of the Beast.

"It is the responsibility of all of Canondom to depose the invalid Emperor, for his blatant disregard of our Holy Mother Church's authority, and flagrant disobedience of the Law of Canon."

 Codex Iurius Canonici Danielus Pontifex

§11. An excommunicant prince who remains in this status for four consecutive years automatically becomes illicit, unless expressly provided for by the High Pontiff. Additionally, Canonists are obliged to make all virtuous efforts to reconvert him, or failing that, to overthrow him.

"We could have let your Pontiff bleed to death on the streets of Providence but now it is quite unfortunate that we did not, we saved him and this is how he rewards us. Unfortunate that he did not go on a similar fate as my dear friend Johanna. As my wise Uncle Franz once said, "Feel free to cry more."." A young Sarkozic shrugged.

"Orenians saving the pontiff does not mean anything for your excommunicated leaders, the vast majority of you still follow them. Saving the pontiff does not then suddenly permit you to serve excommunicants, its not your get out of jail free card. I think the only crying done is within your imperial courts, who grasped at the ferrymen in order to stave off any revolts from your own people." Walton replied.

Anne of Sunholdt laid a bouquet of bright red roses before a bust of her sister, Johana Eleanor, frowning slightly as she looked over the detailed statue. “A true hero! If only you were successful, then that daemon spawn would be gone from the church…..”

@Eryane

Wondered to myself, which would come first, you leaking Cruz's logs or me leaking proof of you metagaming? Well it seems that I held my punches just a tad longer, huh? Would probably be really interesting to the admins to know that Oren hired the Ferryman right after this.

Good luck explaining it.

@itdontmatta if you could please compare the timeline with https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/209056-the-ferry-agreement/

Jurgen gasps!

((You seem to be coping lol))

Ostromir - The decrepid husk of a man which sat idly upon its throne, peered the notice over. It was witnessing an amusing game of cat and mouse - And it had intent to watch on.

Presbyter Ileana shrugged. "Literally, who should care? It is the duty of every single Canonist in all of Canondom to overthrow the illicit crowns upon the heads of the Anathemata. The question that should be asked is 'what do we think of the vast majority of Orenian Canonists who aren't trying to do so?'"

"A fart in the wind carry more power than all these foreigners, with lofty titles of irrelevant signatories, truly an insufferable Empress... It would seem there is no low The Empire isn't willing to use. Shame on you all using the canonist faith as a shield to push your political agenda! Your Imperial Highnesses are not beyond reproach because of a birthright, if all great Emperors before you could see how you sully all their accomplished deeds, they would turn in their graves." The aged Sigmar Voron Baruch, signed the Lorraine.

"Godan have mercy on their souls, for they're irredeemable in the eyes of mortals."
