SECTION IV - DIOCESAN RESTRUCTURING

 

It is through Our Apostolic Right, bestowed unto Us through the Laurel derived from the Exalted, that We see it fit to reconstruct, merge, and establish the following Archdioceses, so that Our church may be better and more efficiently managed by the accordingly appointed shepherds.

 

PATRIARCHATE OF JORENUS, THE HOLY SEE

Encompassing the entirety of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska & the Kingdom of Norland, to be shepherded by High Pontiff Sixtus V until such a time as a Patriarch or Matriarch is appointed.

 

ARCHDIOCESE OF ALBAROSA
Encompassing the eastern region of Aevos, including the lands of the United Kingdom of Aaun and Archduchy of Petra, to be shepherded by Archbishop Arnaud Cardinal Albarosa.

 

ARCHDIOCESE OF ARTORUS
Encompassing the central region of Aevos, including the lands of the Kingdom of Númendil and the Duchy of Adria, to be shepherded by Archbishop Antonius Cardinal Artorus.

 

ARCHDIOCESE OF LOTHARIA

Encompassing the south-western region of Aevos, including the lands of the Kingdom of Balian, to be shepherded by Archbishop Armand Cardinal Lotharia.

 

The following Diocese shall be reconstructed and established so that Our church may be better and more efficiently managed by the accordingly appointed shepherds:

 

DIOCESE OF KARENINA

Encompassing the northern half of the Patriarchate of Jorenus, currently in Sede Vacante.

 

DIOCESE OF ROSEBUD

Encompassing the southern half of the Patriarchate of Jorenus, currently in Sede Vacante.

 

DIOCESE OF BURON

Encompassing the eastern half of the Archdiocese of Albarosa, to be shepherded by Archbishop Arnaud Cardinal Albarosa.

 

DIOCESE OF GELIMAR

Encompassing the western half of the Archdiocese of Albarosa, including the lands of the Grand Principality of Minitz and the Archduchy of Petra, to be shepherded by Callahan Bishop Gelimar.

 

DIOCESE OF AQUILA

Encompassing the entirety of the Kingdom of Númendil, to be shepherded by Archbishop Antonius Cardinal Artorus.

 

DIOCESE OF TYRIA

Encompassing the entirety of the Kingdom of Balian, to be shepherded by Bishop Teodosio Cardinal Tyria.

SECTION V - EXCOMMUNICATION

 

We whose duty, granted by Apostolic right, is to shepherd the flock of God entrust the members of Our clergy with parts of that flock. They in turn are responsible for the well-being and nurturing of their community’s faith, a task entrusted to them not only by Us but also by God. They serve as an extension and member of Us, and to inflict harm upon one of them is to inflict harm upon Us. There are very few sins greater than this, to attempt to harm a member of Our clergy and faithful servant of God, yet there have been numerous attempts and instances of such. Implicit in the murder of an unknown priest in the then Duchy of Minitz, the body was mutilated beyond recognition but witnesses from within the city attested to an accomplice in the killing wearing the sigil of House von Draco. 

 

Long has House von Draco also associated with the vile scourge the Azdrazi, an affront to God Himself. Dealt with by the Holy Inquisition and other faithful Canonists beyond, a number of House von Draco’s members have been positively identified as Azdrazi and Heralds of Azdromoth. Senior Church officials, including a number of the Curia, were witness to this evidence that brought validity to the claims of this association. No longer will We permit known Azdrazi and sympathisers to corrupt and inflict harm upon the Canonist realms who look to Us for guidance.

 

Therefore, We, the Pontificate and Most Holy College of Cardinals, declared that the ‘House of von Draco’ shall be branded EXCOMMUNICATE and ANATHEMA. They are spiritually amputated from Our Holy Canonist Church and the Society of all Canonists. They are to be shunned, evicted, and brought to justice if captured by any and all settlements who claim union with the Holy Church of the Canon.

 

Having come before Us and submitted themselves willingly to Our judgement at the Holy See and found to still hold reverence for God in their heart as well as being absent from the many crimes of the rest of their family, Cassius von Draco and his children are not branded excommunicate and anathema.

 

As We said that members of Our clergy serve as an extension and member of Us and their responsibilities include tending to their flocks by Our and God’s entrustment in them. The man known as Jonathan of Adria has usurped this God-given order of ours, the superiority of ecclesiastical rank established in the time of Exalted Owyn himself and a critical part in the functioning of the Holy Church. Declaring the creation of an illegitimate Archdiocese and appointing himself Archbishop and Cardinal of it on no one’s authority but his own is a flagrant disregard for the will of God and Canon Law. 

 

As is explicit in the Codex Iurius Canonici Danielus Pontifex, otherwise known commonly as the Codex of the Law Canon, to be in such flagrant disregard of it automatically incurs excommunication. Thus, We, the Pontificate confirm and assert that ‘Jonathan of Adria’ is to be branded EXCOMMUNICATE and ANATHEMA. They will be spiritually amputated from the Canonist Church and Canonist societies until such a time should come that they submit themselves to Our judgement at the Holy See and repent of their sins to receive ablution to be granted by Us should they come as a sincere and penitent seeker of God.

SECTION VI - ANNULMENTS AND DISSOLUTIONS

 

We write this declaration in accordance with the excommunication of the House of von Draco and having been petitioned by Lady Adelajda vas Ruthern on the matter. We have come to the conclusion that her union cannot continue. Therefore, We declare that the union between Adelajda vas Ruthern and Loran von Draco dissolved, on account of the latter’s excommunication from Our holy church. We wish Lady Ruthern good fortune in the future and give her permission to engage in the holy sacrament of matrimony once more if she wishes to do so.

SECTION VII - PONTIFICAL COMMISSION 

 

We have long heard common misconceptions and division amongst Our clergy and faithful laypeople alike on the interpretation of the Holy Scrolls on the matter of magic, voidal and otherwise. This topic is of great interest to Us, but We mean to learn more on the subject before We are to commit to reforms of any kind. We are wanting most to gather enough knowledge on the sources, maintenance and usage of these magicks so We might concretely state once and for all what is and is not permitted within Canondom and in accordance with the Almighty’s teachings. We shall form a Pontifical Commission to study on Our behalf and deliver to Us information and recommendations for the future on all forms of magic. We shall lead this commission Ourselves with the aid of Our honourable Prelate of the Clergy, Antonius Cardinal Artorus, and grant him authority to appoint to this commission whomever he desires. May God bless him and the other commissioners with wisdom and intelligence for this undertaking.

 

Any and all information may be sent to Us or Antonius Cardinal Artorus, or a meeting may be arranged. We earnestly encourage all faithful with any knowledge or recommendations based on fact and Canon Law and the Holy Scrolls to be in contact.
