PAX CANONIS

Renilde made her way from the gorgeous tower of Aaun, one with too many staircases, and pondered her role in the day's making of history. Astride her steed with her entourage at her flanks, she thought deeply of that the intentions were of both the Haeseni king and Adria's duke. "Both men sent in their wives to take the oaths in their stead," she said to her children, Paul and Winifred, who rode on either side of their mother, "yet, I hope they do not use that as a loophole to wage another conflict upon their princely brethren. This is quite worrisome. And then, the King in Haense wouldn't even allow his wife to sign the document even though she took the oath?"

Renilde wound the reins of her horse around her fist one more loop, and kicked the sides of her horse to carry on forward in solitude while her children mused on the topic, deep in her own contemplation. "This isn't right," she'd've said for the umpteenth time that day, seriously considering the legal validity of the document despite its pure intention.

Éowyn smiled, having signed the treaty along with her duchess. She decided to take the long way around to Adria on the return trip, visiting her family first in the far off elven lands of Talar’nor first.

Ser Andrik reads the list of signatures with a furrowed brow. "I don't recall seeing the Duke of Adria at any of the peace meetings, let alone this signing, how odd!"

The Lady Viktoria Ivanovich plans out just what dress she should buy with the blood money granted due to her suffering previously. The young lady Raev couldn't help but pray, despite her love for violence, this was all well and truly over. She has things to do! Ones that didn't include being stopped on the roads frequently!

"Took long enough to sign, the Arch-duchess was not very pleasant." He groaned as the missive finds its way onto his desk. "What did you think of the affair? I found it dull." He dashed a gaze to Amleth, his chief of staff. @yopplwasupxxx

The Lady Emissary read the news with no sudden expression of displeasure nor relief. Watching her young children play in her townhouse garden, she lit her pipe and let the smoke whirl into nothingness; Pax Canonis laid to rest on her lap. "Ea hope ve Reimarians enjoy their new steed." She mused with a soft snort, "Let us see how long this lasts, shall we? There was already uproar at ve meeting alone.

"Such trouble it is when so many be-crowned heads gather. Each carries themself as a King, and is loathe to not have it their way." Morgan of Angren muttered, witnessing the troubled summit, "At least peace was signed despite all the bickering. And look, my name is upon it too!"
