THE FALL OF THE PHOENIX

- The Funeral of Nataliya Mariya Amador, Baroness of Mondstadt -

Issued on the 9th day of Tov ag Yermey in the 486th Year of Exalted Sigismund.

VA EDLERVIK,

Let it be known that Her Ladyship, Nataliya Mariya Amador, The Phoenix of Amador, Baroness of Mondstadt and Kastellan of Immigration of Haeseni-Ruska, has this day passed on to the Seven Skies. She died of natural causes following complications after her most recent pregnancy and childbirth. The child, though small, seems likely to survive the tragedy and shall be named Theodosya as the late Baroness wished, and be granted the second name Nataliya after the Baroness. As is customary for the House of Amador, the House will enter a state of mourning until such time as her Funeral is concluded.

Her Funeral will take place on Jula ag Piov, in the 487th Year of Exalted Sigismund at the Evarardian Basilica in the City of Valdev. We welcome all who wish to pay their final respects to our Late Bossiras. Her Coffin with be sanctified by a Priest of the Church, before being buried in the Ground of the Basilica, beneath the same tree as her recently fallen kin, Ser Karl Ruslan Amador.

The Impact of the late Bossiras to the House of Amador can not be understated. Thanks to the efforts of herself, her mother, Olessya Amador, and her faithful sister Liridona Amador, the House of Amador stands today among the most spectacular families in the Dual Kongzem. She battled during the end-times of Almaris against the Mori’quesse;, she served the Dual Kongzem faithfully and loyally as Kastellan of Immigration.

She leaves behind her Husband, Four Sons and Two Daughters, her Sisters, Mother, Father and all the rest of her surviving kinsmen. We Honour the Bossiras that reignited the flame of the House and returned the House to the Nobility within the Dual Kongzem of Hanseti-Ruska.

Let it also be known, as per the wishes of the Late Bossiras, that Professor Albus Amador, the Chronologist of the House of Amador and Son of Radmir Amador, shall act as Regent, until the eldest son of the Bossiras, Henrik Edvard Amador, now known as Henrik III, comes of age. We request time to Mourn the loss of so much in such a short blink of time.

FROM ASHES, WE RISE.

Spoiler

Liridona Amador, the twin of the late Baroness, was silent, staring out the window. Her two boys had already been put to sleep; Nataliya would never get to know the younger of her sons...
The woman thought back to the memories she shared with her twin sister. The laughs and the fights. The times they cried together, and the times they comforted one another. She thought of how Nataliya had declared her The Gem of Amador, and how her drive to regain nobility was so that Liridona may live a better life.

Nataliya had always taken care of her.

Now, as Liridona made a round about the house to check on her two boys, she thought of how Nataliya would never meet her youngest nephew. She also checked on her younger nieces and nephews, her heart sinking as she thought of how they would never know their amazing mother- not like Liridona had , at least. And so, she made a whispered promise to that twin who had loved her so, so much, and whom she loved in turn.
"Ea will take care of them as if they were mea own... ag Ea will make sure they know how much their mamej loves them."

"Rest well, Nataliya Amador. Ea love vy."

Nicolette Amador sighed out a soft hum. "Nata. . ." she murmurs. "We fought. Sometimes we didn't but usually. . ." She shakes her head, signing the lorraine o'er her chest. "Ea loved vy." She says simply, uttering out a prayer for her soul. "Ea will take care of Dona. Don't vy worry. . ."

Unable to really comprehend the situation, a weeping Poppiya cradled her new puppy in her arms, whilst locked away in her bedroom at the Amador house.

"Mamej, vhy would vy leave mea?"

"When are vy coming home?"

"Ea miss vy-vy need to come back."

She wept for hours each day since the news was broken; no doubt a memory which would remain for decades to come. Those tears would not stop, would never stop, for the mother that she was now unable to make proud. Poppy would never be able to share her firsts with her dear mamej, and who would she turn to for guidence?

The four-year-old Baron of Mondstadt had insisted in the courtyard where he learned of the tragedy that he was too small.

Now, having snuck into the quiet quarters of his mother’s office, he clambered into her chair and clutched in his little hands a shawl which still carried a shadow of comforts he remembered of Nataliya

His feet did not yet touch the floor, and it was impossible to imagine he might, one day, ever burn as brightly as she had.

Elia Eryka watched on with stern features as the grandchildren sired from her son Edmund ignorantly frolicked and whined as they were prepared to don black attire these upcoming months. Leopold, although youthful, comforted his weeping mother- of Amador blood. Katrin remained at her flank, bewildered and distraught. “Honor this woman in her death, Katrin. For she, like me, raised her household back into revival. She is of your blood, and you of hers. Feel pride in knowing this.”
