“Ignorant Stassion fucks, nary worth the mere Mina we sold them for.” Renilde recalls the fateful day where she and her council made the play of the century in trading the treacherous vassal to Aaun, in return for nothing save peace in the Commonwealth. "They will learn."

Palatine Josef zipped up his bag (filled with wine, steak, seasonings, pots, pans, vegetables, and pastries) and tossed it over his shoulder as he began the march.

"Back to the proper order of business." Viktor, Duke of Vidaus reiterated, his brow set firmly as he peered over the ledgers before him. Another bloody battle to wage. Another castle to reduce to rubble. More pests to put down.

Catherine I of the Petra would don a smirk as she began to lay out her armor once again. She would flatten the map on the table of the plans of attacking from the Petran mountains. She narrowed her brows as she looked at the marker of Stassion on the map, "They took a man for a hand,"

"So I shall take a nation for a man."

"For Ghorm."

Cesar II clutched his rosary whilst kneeling in front of an altar, murmuring a gentle prayer for the lives that will be lost in this upcoming battle. He then stood up from his kneeling position whilst he signed the lorraine over his chest.

"May DIOS see all of mankind, the righteous amongst us, return back to him in the seven skies."

A sigh escaped the Viceroy's lips afterwards, "Although it is unfortunate. I do find it quite dishonorable to murder a young king, all because he wished for peace. Where is the honor in that? If only Stassion did not succumb to such a rash decision, betraying your own comrades does not net you grace from the Almighty. Pettiness in such forms have dire consequences."
