      Personally I make a habit of making my human characters irreligious out of principle. People tend to fall into corruption, either they claim to 'serve' God for prestige, money, or power they could not otherwise achieve politically.

      not atheist, there was a good post written on this !! lotc players, unless just adamantly refusing to recognise the existence of the very visible-in-action deities (which is kind of strange), are either theistic or alatristic, recognising the existence of gods without finding need to worship them :]
