  1. A wild highlander lets out a hum as he was weaving hair with sparks of silvery light flowing around his fingers as dashes of colours and shades began to bleed into the strands his fingers were flowing against, dashing dyes, images, and patterns into the strands. Creating blooms, and roses from the hair themselves as he hums deeply through the weaving hair. Finishing off with one final draw of his fingers before his fingertip tickles the back of their neck. "There ya go kid, now go play with pinkie while I make some pancakes for breakfast!" Laughing as the puppies ran off to play he pushed himself to his feet and walked into the kitchen. Glancing to his bismuth calendar and seeing the tickling, slow impression of the moon itself beginning to tick on. "Only aye few moons to go now...aye wonder how aye will far in this competition should aye be able to make it..." The voice of the man trailed off as he pulled his sleeves up and began to get to work. It was pancake time!
  2. Beautiful bit of writing here. It was a pleasure to read.
  3. Greetings Again Friends! The response I got from my previous post got a surprising amount of feedback and its been wonderful getting to know so many peoples characters from the progression of their skins! Even the tales of those that had ended their tale and story. The full scope of their tales immortalized and brought to life has made each one a compelling and enjoyable discovery to look over and get to know. And this has brought a new realm of thought. What of arts themselves? Shades of inspiration, of visual hues and appearances of the characters in their many different forms. With friends and groups. Even arts of items that are linked to characters. I've seen so many different hints of characters in arts so far since I joined over half a year ago now. Like before I will start us off and give some arts of my own for Roylan. Who started off a loner from the Rimveld who only knew to hunt, fight, and carve ice. And has slowly grown to be a creative sole that tends to nature and loves it, who waxes poetry, paints, weaves, a soul fully immersed in the creative arts and finding joy within the world. Becoming a Knight, a Captain of his own ship, A bard and a crafter of many different materials and items, and much more yet to come. From the Rimveld~ To the Sun~ When Creativity and Inspiration began to flow through him~ And a little fae mischief held him for a moment~ Leading up the man he is today.
  4. Ser Roylan Grant Sirame lets out a hum of thought as he observed the inviration being passed over and rubbed his fingers against his beard in consideration. "To guest drop, or not to guest drop, that tis the question."
  5. Just stumbled on this and thought I'd say that you made some beautifully done skins here!

Beautifully done arts! Not sure if you're actually still open but I'll slap this here incase you still are~
  7. These look like a hell of a lot of fun! As someone that has been playing D&D for over ten years not you have caught my particular interest. I hope I can get involved and join in some of the delightful chaos that will come from these.
  8. Ser Roylan G B Sirame looked over to his niece and cocked a brow at their reaction for a moment to a letter that they had. Looking intrigued and a tad amused. "It would seem me niece truly knows everyone throughout the land. If its for a lad that just found aye lady perhaps aye gift that is both sweet but tender for them to share? Like sweets of honey, or flowers to braid into their hairs would be suitable."
  9. This is truly wonderful work! Its refreshing to see this, there's some words I've not ever seen used before. Though if you're adding animals to this perhaps you could add 'Chir' for wolf?
  10. Oh it was? Fun! I'm glad I'm able to bring to life a old thread and draw people in due to my curiosity then~ From bright and colourful to dark and somber. Truly a good tale for a character who's loved through the ages. Love how his beard has grown through the ages as well! So many different compelling tales and characters! And I love the skins themselves with how beautifully done they are. Grand! I love how the priest became more colour as he aged and the aloof elf looks so wholesome and inviting now. Truly a lovely show of development in itself! Fine beard~ Feels like she grew darker and more wild by the years. I could see her roaming trees or fields of flowers. Lovely colour contrasts as well! A lot of dark characters you've had here that have fallen through some danger paths. The sheer contrast of youth to aged is intriguing to see! From a young noble that seemed fresh out of a fancy ball to a warrior worn man scared by his battles. Love the eyepatch! Positively adore the development of here. Shows a rich change and contrast over time. The goggles complete the man. Even scared~ Its nice to see how the goggles have 'rusted' and lost its golden colouring over time as well from long use. A diverse range of characters. From a scammer that will eagerly claim your wealth and likely has a hidden vault full of treasures somewhere in the world. To a wholesome soul that feels like they need to be cherished. A hellish life full of torment but full of dedication. I love the changes he's undergone from a youth and slowly developed over time. You did well to show his progression over his building obsession!
  11. Greetings There Stranger This topic unlike my usual posts isn't tied to a particular post of my own character, lore, congrats, or anything in particular. Just a thought of curiosity that flooded over my mind. A single question. "How has my character developed since I started?" I looked back at the skin I started with a curious mind and was surprised at just how different they were. And now I'm curious on just how everyone else's has developed with time! I'll go first and show my own development and changes in my highlander. And hope that others are willing to share as well! Wherever it comes in skin, arts, or just descriptions doesn't matter. Its just sharing the tale of our characters for everyone to see and experience a piece of that loved history!
  12. A crossbow cracked and cranked throughout the first volley as they were surrounded by apple trees. Arrows hurled through the air and filling the skies with streams of dark insects that hungered for flesh as they descended down upon the earth and those that filled the space below. Several of the allies he was firing alongside took a bolt, to the arm, to the shoulder, the rain of death hitting many alongside him as bodies dropped while others stayed strong. The trees paying the price for many that took shelter within the shadow of the branches as the bark began to be covered in the piercing blades of ferrum. With none truly sure how affective this world of battle had been. The call to charge had been a relief, in itself, for it heralded the end of the rain. They charged, forward, across the waters, towards the ships of the enemies that had been stalled and unable to continue on. Yet the actual moment they met their enemies was...chaos. Chaos, blood, and cries. Death cries met his ears by the swing of his weapon, or by the sounds of those around him. Allies made a shield wall with him as they pushed forward. Foes falling one by one to blade, axe, sword, and shield. No time to honour the dead or pay respect to them as their bodies fell under heel and were soon trampled on as the wall advanced forward. Giving no quarter. Giving no mercy. The enemies fell one by one, the numbers increasing, beyond count. Until only a dozen souls were seen retreating. Bloodied. Battered. Tired. And worn. His armour scared and pierced from the wounds he had taken but having not been felled as he gazed on before slowly making his way back with others that cried out in victory and relish. "This...this was tiring." His eyes scanned the battlefield. From the bodies that were sank in the sands, the muck, and bodies that littered decks of ships and sank into the depths of the water. "Aye...wonder how many we lost..." It was a sombre mood that took the highlander as he returned to his burrow to rest, recover, and salvage what he could of his armour.

  14. Darn I just discovered this. These were some beautiful designs you had made here! I would of loved to have voted for that rugged adventurer to slap on my lad.
  15. It was really fun writing this up. Writing lore with you and tgrt always ends up being a fun time. ------------- A highlander leans back upon a flourishing field of golden stalks and lush vibrant greens as the light of the day began to fall away under bursting colours of gold, orange and red. And the velvet curtain of the night sky began to reveal itself. Glistening bursts of flight starting to sprinkle themselves before his eyes as he looked upon the heavens with whirlpool eyes gleaming with inspiration and soothed emotion. -------------
  16. The man glanced over to his fellow highlander with an amused curl of his lips. "Lets not hope for such aye thing lad, we've only got so many years in us. Though aye admit the sound of this festival sounds like aye entertaining one. It shall be enjoyable when its time."

  18. Ser Roylan Grant Sirame blinked as he heard the call out of her name name having changed. Glancing down to her for a moment as he listened to her words and then lets out a hum. "Should aye call ya sister 'rip and tear' for our enemies as well?" He voiced with a light smile.
  19. A man felt the pulse of sorrow, a mere hour before war came and struck his home. He felt it etch through his being and darken his mind, his soul, and sweep it in sorrow as a single prayer was given out for the unknown soul to rest comfortable in the realm they ended up.
  20. Haven't had the chance to see the new edits yet, but I've been eagerly awaiting to hear from it and I'm sure I'm going to love it when I sit down and look over everything! But on the subject of turning herblore into something similar I find myself loving the concept. We could have different plants causing different effects similar to their natural effects already. Like a sunflower seed could create a light that points in the direction of the sun and be used as a 'compass' of a sort. A vine could grow and stretch out and be used as a harmless whip to grasp onto objects and pull them towards the user. There's so, so many cantrips you could make with different plants so I wholely approve of it!
  21. Ser Roylan G. B. Sirame lets out a hum as he finishes chipping at the crystal within his hand and carefully forming it into the shape of a mug. The details of he was slowly etching in to decorate it simply moving on as he realized that there was a usual sight that was missing that was running around quite often. Eyes glanced around. Looking back. And forth. As his mind moved and tried to think for a moment before he realized who was missing. "....likely bothering me niece at her tavern again." He voiced with a chuckle flowing out of him. "Ay really do need to figure out where that dress aye made for her went...Mhm, might need to make another gift until its found. Maybe she'll like a mask?" He mused in consideration.
  22. "We don't talk about Smmers~" Bruno mark 2.
  23. Ser Roylan G. B. Sirame gazed upon the tragedy he had brought to tavern night. The fabled, and now feared touch of 'Rotwater' added to the menu, challenged by more and more souls as they created art and scattered it all over the realm and floor of his nieces Domain. Did the discovery of the Ancient Mali'ame wine bring the omen of tragedy for every tavern night? Only the future can tell!
  24. Ser Roylan G. B. Sirame mind flashed back to seeing Ahng, to seeing the dwed and then Talos flying through the air by the ballista after the ground had given way under them and brought both their own Ballista and rubble down upon them. His body still ached from the battering as he shook his head with a chuckle at the sight and memory. Then a frown flickered as he recalled the last moment as the boat began to give into the water, and they began to row out. "Just who was it on our side that fired upon us...?"
