This would actually be really cool in a lab. Only issue is stimulating the right enviroment for each herb.

Would take a bit of coding, but you could collect dirt samples from biomes to put in the pots, place water, cobble, light source and the like to stimulate the environment. Or just make it so that you can only grow herbs that are in that biome which would be easier.

Make a forum post suggestion! Although I reccomend you take a look at the lore as there are many factors to consider.

Technically, there are some subtypes that could possibly self-teach another subtype. However, teachers are needed for guidance and correction. There are also other factors that other subtypes know and use to perform their respective magic.

Right? Honestly, you are supposed to live as your character in role play. Not be IC and OOC at the same time. I personal feel I play a female really well, even though I'm a male. It's funny when someone asks me if i'm really a girl and when I say no they flip **** and say "DUDE THAT"S SICK! so yeah.

it's not the players' job to increase the server's new player retention. it is staff's job.

managing and encouraging server activity and new player retention is not my responsibility as an ordinary player and I should not be expected to do that. is it nice if I do it? yes. am I nice to newbies? of course I am. should it be required of me? no.

instead, it should be required of the people who choose to volunteer their time as staff members since they specifically applied and signed up to do it.

Don’t believe that Drake ever said it was your responsibility lol. Just was saying that you can play a big part in it. While I agree with you that staff should play a driving factor in new player activity, I’d say that the players also play a driving factor in it as well, ie Nation heads and settlement groups.
