Whilst Jade + the LMs are correct, I do agree with Pie here. The date plugin started later after of the server's launch and starter at a year 1 (according to the suppppah old Aegis folks) but the days/years past exceptionally fast. When the date plugin was reintroduced, a majority of the human community was in an uproar about how fast ( One IRL week = 1 IC year) the system was and it was halved to accommodate for that playerbase (currently two weeks = 1 IC year).
