The thing that I hate the most on the dark mages is the constant seeking for power due to some stupid reason that is used as an excuse for being a godlike character. Of course I’ll PvP that kind of shitter, I don’t want to fight a kid that has a god complex that thinks he can solo 5 players with his super magic. I’ll never accept roleplaying seriously with this kind of person. If anything about people wanting to be an antagonist or kill players as a dark mage, they should roleplay it in a reasonable way instead of being a power creep or else I find it really hard to take them seriously. Being a powerful dark mage like 99% of the mages or dark mages doesn’t makes up for a dynamic roleplay experience most of the time because you’ll be simply overpowered and annihilated by his hentai tentacles with no chance of resistance or survival because he’s “too powerful for you weak lesser kickstarter loser non-immortal peasant”

What’s the point of raiding if there’ll be prices, you can get close to nothing but the enjoyment out of raids since we don’t have Nexus, thus items can’t have any value, they’re obsolete if its not a roleplay item. And normal people just don’t carry relevant RP items with them. If simulating war costs for raids was something actual, I doubt that ANYONE would pay to get a malus. Like, it makes no sense. Take for example a viking raid, you’re Bjor and you’re bringing 10 men to raid Thor. You give your men the equipment to go raiding, then you go off and LOOT gold and silver, you come back with gold and silver, there’s no “gold and silver” on LotC to loot. Why would you bring ten people to raid a hobotown if they have “nothing”? there’d be more expenses than anything else. Makes absolutely no sense.
