Hey, the lore at its current state likely won’t get accepted. There’s already a possibility, according to server lore, that you can imbue your sword with mana by having a mana gem on it, which a Transfiguration mage can do, akin to some sort of enchanting that you need to recharge. The lore also has no support for soul swords that can morph into humans alongside the ideas of people having a special sword. You should probably look into something else and mess around a little bit with the server concepts regarding mana and magic (deity magic and voidal magic) and then submit a different lore piece Also, wars are based around OOC, drama and politics. Roleplay has, at the end of the day, NO influence on warclaims but to fabricate claims and excuses to go to war. What is weak and what is strong? Who would decide who the sword guy defends if he fights for a nation? Who is the losing side and who is the winning side -

I never said this before because i was making money out of it but i don’t really care anymore. You shouldn’t buy slaves or pay for ransoms unless the person runs the risk of being PK’ed. They can just be killed and shrug it off like any other day.
I mean, it might not be immersive to not PK or just shrug the RP off because you know it won’t end anywhere at the end of the day and be just yet another thing.
People buying slaves is the only reason that people are caught to be sold as slaves, or else people would never capture people to sell them as slaves or ask for ransom money. Like, I legit used to make so much money out of enslavery back in Anthos that I was surprised of how stupid people were.
Just my opinion tho, that even your best in game friend isn’t worth paying even 100 minas unless at the risk of PK, it'll be just a short experience of 1-2 hours and you can go back to RP after the enslavers eventually get bored and decide to kill you. If no one bought slaves, no one would be bothering getting slaves for selling and this would reduce banditry, think about it

1. I’d listen to SandK1ng. I don’t know him well, but he has dank memes and seems to be one of the more intelligent people on the server.
2. I feel as though telling people not to purchase the same elf that’s been sold 5 times this week from the bandits that have been killed 7 times this week is not quite metagaming. Metagaming is when a bandit stops you on the road, and then the Two bandits ask you for your minas, so you give all Four bandits your gear, and then the Nine of them call PvP on you. Or when Metasquad 6 comes flying over your walls and mercs you.

i dont think pk should be enforced by slavery itself unless its the slaves choice obviously. in all honesty I think the selling of slaves is unfortunately too common. Though i feel it usually comes to this choice because otherwise you might be putting the slave to some kind of work or labor, but most people when captured would rather just die and be resurrected by Monks than step outside of their comfort zone. It’s worthless to pay for anything other than a noble or king though of course there are will always be instances of selling a common-tier slave regardless.

this won’t get accepted due to the stigma against new races, you should make a culture based off the water but centered around elves. creating a culture instead of a race would make you work to create a playerbase rather than just give it to players and have it eventually die, like hou-zi and kharajyr

Thanks a lot to everyone who has helped me through this journey. 5000 +1’s ago, I had only 4 +1’s and I began to farm reputation with subpar shitposting One day, I’ve discovered the power of MS Paint memes, how much joy they brought to me by doing it and how many reputation it’d net to me. I remember my most upvoted MS Paint meme was about having different options when selecting your race during application and inside memes for each one of these races, whereas humans had no inside memes but “Come play yourself” and the applicant would instantly join it Now that I have 5000 rep I can finally feel a sense of unecessary and stupid accomplishment during this long road of 6 years on LotC filled with shitposting, memes, MS paint, trolling and playing anti-racism guitar for the memes. I can say that I’ve beaten all my objectives in the forums, since during this entire road, I’ve been an Application Team Member, next a Creative Wizard and now 5000 points. People clicked on an upvote button five thousand times to show (sometimes) appreciation for my hopeless effort of pulling off a smirk or a laugh. @everyone Thank you for all my contributors!
