The Peach Harvest Festival

An exciting time is upon the people of Celia’nor as peach season has come around once more. Peaches are more prevalent than ever within the day to day life of the outlying farmers in Celia’nor and they have begun to free fall from the trees with the last batch of peaches available for the season. Though, while a delicious treat, they are an important pollinator for butterflies, bees, and the likes to continue growing the other fruits, vegetables, and crops for the people to be well-fed. The peach blossoms are also a sign of good-luck in the coming seasons to promote peace and happiness from the color and the fruity smells.

I T I N E R A R Y

 

COBBLER-EATING - The first on the list of festivities is the two-part cobbler eating event. For the first cobbler event it is to eat as many peach cobblers as possible in a short amount of time. The second is for the pastry chefs of Almaris to introduce their cobblers into a tasting competition. This will be held in the arena of the festival grounds and the winner of each event will receive fifty minas.

 

PEACH-PICKING - Around the festival grounds, there will be plenty of peaches on the trees for passerbyers to pick off the trees from the bountiful harvest that has brought an abundant amount of this fruit. It is encouraged for guests to take a walk through the fruit trees and pick the fruit to take home.

 

HARVEST MELODIES - In the festival grounds, there will be music being played by the many talented artisans of Celia’nor. Musicians are invited from across Malinor to entertain during the festival.

 

NATURE’S GAMBIT - Various games around the festival ground based around luck and skill are going to be set up within the tents. Anything from dart-a-peach, gambling games, to peach fishing and you will even be able to plant your own peach sapling or take one home to grow and nurture in the coming decades.
