Lilja nodded her head approvingly of the Kings bold words. She went back to writing shortly after.

Karnyx, falx, and a clutch of javelins laid atop a bearskin draped on a second bed in his apartment. Cunimund glanced over them more and more in recent days. Within his chest, the bugle and dirge of the karnyx seemed to drum in rhythm with the beats of his own heart. His recent excursions between Norland and Urguan, between lengthy days transcribing works, gave him some sense of growing conflict. "Ogbek bagauda, Deiwo lǣwiz æscozek," [1] Cunimund muttered as his eyes found the same arms laid out day after day.

Spoiler

1. "I am a skirmisher, God direct my javelins"

Io watches Balon The ***** Slapper peacefully raise his ***** slapping hand as they count out an optimal mina-per-Ireheart ratio, not the only ratio to happen today. "Our children may have a real campaign!" Io excitedly calls out to their pretty wife Blanca.

An elfess read both the Dwarven missive and the Norland missive, and compaired the two with her partner. "Why is one so heavily worded, and one so simple? Yet the Norlander one is much more powerful." @Terry

“Stay on alert. If they strike, we strike back, twice as hard,” the Queen-Marshal instructs her officers, preparing for what is to come.

From Lurin, Juniper reads through several missives like a disgruntled old man with the morning paper. "Oh ****... Scrisa, we may see our first war on this continent soon!" She called to her wife ( @Apotolofo ), before looking to her dearest daughter ( @satinkira ). "Verena, avoid the Irehearts and Norlanders. Neither of them ever have anything positive to contribute to this world."

If a certain Norlander were to hear this, he would question who this person was, not knowing who they were whatsoever.

Io hears Juniper say this as Io arrives to sit in Juniper's window as they tend to do, their smile fading, a sniffle following soon after. Io goes to look through another friend's window...

Juniper wonders why Io is sitting outside her window... again, apparently? She awkwardly closes the curtains.

Loys Kvitravn held the Norlandic missive in his hands as he sat close to the fireplace. An impressed smirk broke across his features before the realization hit him. "My entire life up 'til now has been full of conflict.."  A sigh slipped from him before he made a further remark to his wife, "We'll show our child what strength and honor truly are." @Aimy_lol

Rumil had taken a few surprisingly audible blinks, before sighing. "This is why we can't have nice things." Not picking quite a clear side to this conflict, did the elf then kick himself up to his feet and drowsy off to start another set of pure chaos.. respectfully.

“Unable even to respond to the accusations of a blatant attack, and his people cheer him on. Quite sad, such blind loyalty.” Grumbles a typically cheery dwed from his home.
