I just want to thank some of my favorite players on the server as it is Thanksgiving on Thursday. Even if you don't celebrate the holiday, I find the idea of being thankful for the people I have been with through thick and thin very important, despite all the negativity that brews. Here is a list of who I am thankful for, in no particular order.

 

@Panashea - My longest and most ancient orcish ally, who has been with me through the highs and lows. I remember the long nights of shaman rewrites, which eventually got the magic frozen. You have supported me and taught me a lot within my earliest days on this server many long years ago.

 

@meowmaxer - The first time I met you, it was by chance within the Alemdrom era, heralding Iwane in the shrine room. Although it was slow at first, you quickly became one of my top players that I trust. To many days ahead.

 

@Nooblius - My longest and most ancient dwarf ally, although you may not be as active as the old days as a dwarf player, you really cemented my place within the server when I could have just faded away due to losing interest. I remember your rebellion against the Anvilaxe Goldhands, eventually leading to your Goldhand's death. You even made my longest lasting character that I actively play. Other than that, you have dealt with my younger self, who is far more unstable, and did not turn me away.

 

@BDanecker - I know I talk to you regularly through the shadow discord, and you may not even look on the forums, but Dorimnur Goldhand is still one of my favorite characters that I still look up to. I admired how you focused on RP and devalued OOC information, even making things that don't exist canonically but rather through belief. I still use the idea of Dwarven Steel to this day.

 

@Johann - From the relatively short months I knew you, your vision of what lore could be had made a great impact on my own view of it, focusing on fun over function. I have learned a lot on what makes good lore, and you encourage ideas that I originally thought that was impossible. We need to lock in on writing stuff however...

 

@lemonke - Despite our friends to enemy to friend to enemy to friend again relationship, you are a good person at heart. Even if you are a bit paranoid over things (and they are often right), you are willing to lend a hand to others. Let's not be enemies again, though.

 

@Karim - Despite our lack of communication nowadays, I really do appreciate you for everything you have done for me. Even if you did not realize it, you have better taught me to separate myself from IRP and to not be rage baited by it. I know my multitude of crash outs may have gotten on your nerves, and I am sorry for that. You have taught me a valuable lesson that I will keep. (Where is Iwane?)

 

@Papa Rock - We often butt heads over opinions and takes on the server, and you are still very stubborn and so am I, but we never truly disliked each other and support each other. If it were not for you, I would have not been still with the Dwarven community after the departure of BDanecker.

 

@Reece Nolan - You are awesome. The kindest soul I have met on this server, and very sensitive because of it. You empathize with me and I do as well in kind. So thank you for being here.

 

@Turbo_Dog - The chaos with an agenda. You always have the most wild and silly ideas and I have learned much from you on this and found my favorite style of roleplay because of this.

 

@Holyland - Although we only have recently met, your view on roleplay has been a breath of fresh air in a world where a lot of rp pathways are one and nondirectional. You prioritize the freedom of choice in RP rather than forcing a singular path, even if the result is the same.

 

@Britannicvs@Serf @Sweetshare - I'm lumping you three together because you are basically the same person. BE UNIQUE FOR ONCE! I'm joking, you three alone have been around for a long time and encouraged me further to not take IRP and OOC as serious as it needs to be. It makes me remember that this is still a game and the point is to have fun.

 

@Xergarok - I remember you from all the way back when you were a mushroom epiphyte, eventually growing to become the de-facto head of the mystics. Even if I have qualms with Xionism as a culture, you stick to what you know and keep to your promises. I highly respect you, even if we butt heads (and occasionally with ChumChum as well).

 

@squakhawk - I thank you for giving me a chance at LT. Although there is controversy at every corner, you bear it better than anyone else. Keep strong.

 

@wowj- wowj

 

@Ninjay - Although we do not talk that often irp and mostly through ST business oocly, your hard work is noticed, and I appreciate you greatly. I had my doubts originally because 'Ferrymen bad', but you have completely broken that preconception.

 

@My mind fades away Im losing it - Another ST member and a newer player on the server that I have come to really appreciate. Know that your ideas are awesome, and never let that flame die.

 

@Smol- We poke fun with each other often (the map art incident), but you are genuinely a very kind person. Please be gentle to yourself, for the road ahead is not for the feint of heart.

 

@Jentos - The big dragon man. You have taught me a lot with only a few interactions and introduced me to philosophy roleplay. I respect you a LOT.

 

@Security_ - Other than being a Wick for literally a week, your knowledge of the ins and outs of culture and lore is something that I look up to and aspire to be.

 

@Iulius- MY FAVORITE HERALD THAT EVER EXISTED. I was skeptical at first, but you have grown into something that far exceeded by initial expectations. Keep doing what you do and you WILL go places.

 

@Prifter- A remnant of the old days within the dwarves. Although you are usually busy, talking to you always brings me back.

 

@TheFirstShroom - I miss you, rest in peace, friend. I am thankful and will always be grateful for you.

 

@Jihnyny - You and I have gone through a LOT together. Going on random ideas and scenarios that always end abruptly in the most crazy way possible. Even going as far as killing or nearly killing another server. Keep at it, you wild animal.

 

 @Wulfric- You tease me a lot, making jokes and ideas that make me laugh. Your ideas are crazy, and surprisingly enough, work.

 

@Norgeth @Titanium430- You two introduced me to the culture of Gnomes and I have loved it ever since. You two's ideas for cultures and families of a rainbow of diversity. Even if some fall flat, they still exist, and the creation itself is valuable.

 

@Pallodium- You are a great lore writer, getting better after every post. The curse of denial is lifted, but even before I looked up to you.

 

@Zonty- The most crazy person I have ever met. Batshit insane ideas that don't seem to work, do. I am glad to have met you, bro.

 

@Sewer_Rat- You sparked my curiosity in other pieces of lore, giving me a chance at it. You even inspired me to apply to LT despite you stating it was just a paperwork job. You are a free spirit and a stern teacher, something we need more.

 

I know there are a lot of people I have probably missed, but it is like 11:30 PM, and I am sobbing a little bit with happiness. So from the bottom of my heart:
