Are you a person? A person with dreams? Are you from the working class? Do you happen to like fish?
These are all the important and completely rational questions that I promise to answer in the Royal Duma as your friendly local fisherman, soon to be international, and your next Alderman.
Hi, I am Timofei Petrovich. Many of you may know me as Timofei, Timmy, Fishman, or that person who can be found under the bridge with a rod in hand. For too long have the politicians of yore lied and corrupted their way into power. The common folk need a man who understands the struggle of true labors. There is none more qualified than I in that regard as I have dedicated my entire life to the wonderful craft of fishing.Now with my first official business opening, it is vital that our rights as working class citizens and small business owners are correctly protected and represented. I can make that happen, but only with your support!

The Wave of Conflict
It is no secret to any that the noble class have the majority upper hand in politics, as is their right. But the people pay taxes just as the rest do, and that requires equal representation through wit! Like a mighty bluefin battling the currents of the ocean, I will ensure that the citizens of Haense are promptly defended! This I do swear, as a fisherman and as a friend to all.
Social disparity is not the only conflict we struggle with. There is no denying that there are many conflicts we face externally. No matter what social status a person may belong to, all should strive to defend the Kingdom at all cost either militarily or through the efforts of Industry! You can find no other expert in the art of supply and demand as the experienced fishmonger I am. I will work with my colleagues inside and outside of the Duma to secure our stores and treasuries, that way we are able to respond with no fears of doubt or denial!

I remember we were siblings in Ludovar a long time ago now and honestly my personal handling of that whole thing was a mess that I don't even wanna get into, but like I always say to my friends who consider quitting for good: If you don't find joy in it anymore, DON'T DO IT. That's what I did, and not once have I regretting that decision. YOU focus on YOU! I don't know you too well personally, but I hope that wherever you turn now in life that you're happy!

I wish I could change my maybe vote to yes because I voted earlier while I was distracted and exhausted. It's been a while since I've been actively playing this server, but FTB'ing has outgrown its time on the server and it really didn't add anything to the server other than the personal preferences of a few.
I'm old enough to admit that I did do it myself when I was younger, and I regret it. It was definitely one of the weirder parts of my experiences on LOTC despite being involved in it. I'll never be able to get rid of those cringey moments in my life (I'm cringing as I write this comment)
I hope that no other young adult or minor has to experience that on the server. There are plenty of ways to create a romantic environment in roleplay without making it weird, explicit, or overly sexualized. FTB'ing will never, and never has been, an important part of roleplay and has no place on this server anymore.4 -

What is life?
Is it a gasp of fresh air flowing through the lungs of a living person?
Is it the birth of a child and the death of an elder?
Does life truly end? Does it ever even start?
Andrik woke from his seemingly eternal slumber. It had been days since any person had even seen the now estranged Prince. Even the servants who regularly tended to his every need were locked out of his private chambers. It’s not like anyone wanted to tend to such a room anyways, the place was barren. As once stated in a poem, Andrik had manifested his quarters into a truly dark and depressing prison cage, yet he played the role of warden and prisoner at the very same time…
Perhaps it’s not so simple?
No, it can not be, for life is not just for the descendent.
It resides in every cottage, hole, stump, and castle.
It is valuable to the most devout sinners and those seeking repentance.
“The wedding, Highness, it is time” heard the Prince as he awoke from his rest. For a moment, Andrik paused. Should he show? Is he ready for such a feat? Is the world ready to see him again? Would they even care? These questions, and many more, ran through his mind as his maids laid out a simple selection of clothes. “Well, Ana surely would never forgive me if I missed this one” replied the Prince, only it was already an hour after he awoke. It was funny to him how fast time flew by in his head.
Perhaps life has no meaning at all?
After all, history has proven we obsess over social structure,
Is it too foreign to say that we have no right to question it?
Are we so arrogant? So hubristic? Or even egotistic?
After all, it was not too long ago that Andrik nearly lived a fairytale life. A separate path that was so foreign to the life of a traditional Prince, even he had trouble imagining it sometimes. But he did dream… Those dreams were severed along with his lover’s head. Oh well, God had punished him much more harshly, right? It was tragic, but the Prince had a void growing in his heart beforehand. Besides, feelings have no place in the Royal Household. It was simply improper. Annika had taught his son better etiquette than that.
Is life ever beautiful or horrible?
The wolfpack hunting a herd of rabbits is gruesome to the privileged eyes of man,
Yet no man sheds a tear for tearing down the home of a squirrel.
Perhaps there is no right answer, no conclusion, or plan?
The ceremony was like all others for the Prince, a simple reminder of what could have been for him, and what could be for the newly wedded. Marriage, in his eyes, was an overrated social construct of humankind. Why should a man and a woman be pressured to wed for social status and not for the love of one another? Why are divorces so final and yet a betrothal can be remade at any time with little consequence? Oh well, no matter. The past was just that and he had no future to look forward to. “Just a few more minutes until I can lock myself in again.”
The truth may never be found.
However one thing is for certain,
Life is valued by all things that hold on to it
And is a mere existence of those who let go of it.
“Margrait looked beautiful in her dress. I wonder who tailored it?” thought the Prince to himself. The dinner was okay. Andrik had been picking at a small slice of carrot cake, freshly made by the Queen herself. Andrik was never really a fan of sweets, even as a child. He’d always cherished the more unique foods like various fruits and cheeses. It reminded him of how he so yearned to be unique, and yet ironically ended up like every other Barbanov royal; He was a broken and dysfunctional mess, and yet let none of it hinder his duties.
Life is a blessing to most but a curse to the lonely.
It is both utterly meaningless and yet means more than anything.
It can be cherished and cursed in both birth and death.
It is the end of the road for some, and the start of the pavement for many others.
Savoyard Port was always a close favorite of the Prince despite the harsh memories it gave him. Surprising to his gossiping servants, it was true that he’d been sober for nearly a decade now. Most of his adulthood had been spent drinking, Andrik didn’t even remember holding his first, and only, son in his arms. A distant memory of what could have been… It’s both beautiful and cruel at the same time. Suddenly, as he dreamt of a better life, a servant bumped into the drunken Prince, causing his face to collapse face-first into the cake.
I no longer wish to know what life means.
In the end, is it all meaningless?
Even if the generation ahead of you screams your name until it echoes through history,
Would the noise sound forever?
Walnuts. Andrik always enjoyed walnuts as a child considering his varied pallet. He’d always loved unique tastes, yet his adventure had come to a sudden unsuspected halt. The laughs slowly faded as the Prince's eyes shut, forever in that dream.
I refuse to accept that.
Life is not about what you do as you live,
But rather what you leave behind for your successors.
Life is not a purpose, but rather a legacy.

SpoilerAnd that’s all folks. I’d like to thank the community of Haense for three unforgettable years, even if I was an airhead throughout most of it. I’d learned so many lessons, as silly as it may sound to some, but it’s true. I’ve made friends and relationships that have made me into the person I am today.
It’s ironic. I used to spend hours every day, sacrificing my grades (at the expense of my very angry Asian parents) and I even spent birthday money, all for me to just quit. The unholy amount of time spent behind this crappy laptop screen made me realize how valuable my life is without it. It took meeting wiser and amazing people online for me to grasp the importance of my personal life.
Many usually say that after a big post like this, the person will always return. It’s the old LOTC curse, though I have ensured my conclusion is final by enlisting in the United States Navy. I’m eighteen now, and I can’t spend forever on a server that I enjoyed as a young teenage boy. Don’t get me wrong, growing up is not just letting go of the things that made you who you are today, but rather learning to accept that you are ready to move on and learn from new experiences.
Thank you to @Rudi and @Mady for giving me such a dynamic character to play as my final chapter in my roleplay storybook. I’d like to thank @zuziee, @shay, and @gusanoarentonio for giving me a generation to roleplay with.
I will not write a long farewell post to those who have impacted me, for that will take too much energy that I have already spent here. Instead, I’d like to simply tag those who made a positive impact on me overall as a person, not as a player on this server (though I am thankful to those who helped me on the server).

A man bearing tangerine clothing suddenly appears with his family, though not in the seven skies, but rather in the overworld. The soul was, at first, confused, but soon quickly became emotional as he held his two lost children in his arms. Nikoleta, Anya, and Bran. All of the people he loved the most in this world were present. However, there was still a missing piece to this puzzle.

From the confines of his own lonely and depressing room, Andrik would lament on a time when he conversed with his brother on wishing that they were merely peasants, and not the sons and fathers of Kings. "Those days are gone..." he once thought. It is true, the years have aged the last remaining Barbanov siblings of their era.
However, Andrik was no longer a young man and with age came wisdom. He knew that his time was not yet over, and a new leaf could still be turned should he choose to act on it. No longer would he dream of that of a farmer, for he did not want to live a humble and simple life. The old Prince was starving, not for crop, but for adventure.

What is unity?
Is it the simple gathering of folk under a common cause?
Are they rich? Poor? Well-grounded or lost?
Are they just in their purpose or unjustified?
Do they cheat, steal, or even rally their purpose with a single lie?
Or how about when?
When does unity occur or how does it happen?Is it when an oppressive foe sets out to destroy all?
Perhaps it is when a man seeks too much, and those around him pray for his fall.
No, it can’t be that. Unity is not a product of violence,
For unity is built on a foundation of trust and correspondence.
Unity is when a wall crumbles down,
and yet the people stand to defend its fallen town.
In the face of tyranny, aggression, and near destruction,
the Northman, Savoyard, brigand, elf, & dwarf show their bravery in determination.
Through troubles, struggles, and the most utter devastating fails,
the united stood on the shores of the port and prevailed.
However, the Heartlander should not be forgotten in this bout,
for like any other, there is no shame in defending his land that sprouts.
The righteous man’s cause is not for vengeance or fame,
but rather looks to protect his farm from the violent spread of flames.
And so, a question is begging to be asked.
What good is unity when two sides constantly bicker over a seemingly lost task?

For centuries…
Descendants have engineered and designed a multitude of recipes throughout the entire known world. Throughout the numerous continents have lived some of the most famous and forgotten chefs in the world. Yet who shall be the Meyster of them all?
JOIN US! As we embark on a culinary journey throughout Valdev! Six contestants from all walks of life shall be selected by the Kingdoms foremost culinary experts in the audition phase and will compete with one another through five competitive rounds spanning the year. All are invited to audition, but only ONE will emerge victorious as the others watch from the sidelines!
In this three saint day event there will be a total of FIVE rounds:
AUDITION
Home cooks throughout Haense and its allies are invited to audition for a place in the Meyster Chef Valdev Kitchen! Only six will be able to compete!
INGREDIENT
