The Duchess' newly appointed Mistress of the Robes donned a bright smile as her tailoring abilities had been put into light. "I will have to step up my game now that I am going to be making her wardrobe." The Countess of Halstaig commented toward her oldest friend and grounds tenant with a chuckle.

Stefan the Roach shook his head at these imperial pretenders, growling in disdain, "I simply cannot wait for the official declaration of war from the dumapalooza, we will squash you filthy imperial pig dogs once and for all!"

"It is wise they have left out the history of the title," Commented Dmitri de Sarkozy, "For then they would have to justify forsaking its traditions, mocking her people, and the exodus of the family from Providence who founded it."

He was in good company though, that of the Adrians. With the Imperial family turning and giving one another titles as the Orenian nobility abandoned the nation, it did not shock him that they would attempt to leverage what little legitimacy they could from it - for it was the foundation of Joseph II's own right to rule.

Wise it was to pursue the title this way, for winning an election required self awareness and charm far exceeding the capacity of Novellens at this point.

"Who?" An elderly Ves patrician repeated, gumming the word out over and over as he read each name on the list. An attendant of the TRUE and HONEST Duke of Adria would then wheel him into a closet, where he would continue for several hours.

"... Yes?" The wizened mountebank answered, eyes peering through the thick fog just long enough to recognize another human face. Though he was almost gone, his mind too far lost inside itself to come up with a quip - though he was in a foreign land, wheeled out here and there to ends he could no longer understand, - he knew with one thing with complete conviction and clarity. He had something the False Duke lacked, something he could never be sure of; He knew exactly who he was. He was a Clown, a man bound by neither the strictures of legitimacy nor the tired mores of nobility. He was a descendant of the Old Clownstbuergers, a witness to the mirthless horrors of the Long Joke and his own father's slow death by the vices of Helena. He was a sinner, a penitent, a father, and though his proud heritage was founded more on pretense than reality, he was more Adrian than any of Providence City's lace-wearing bewigged mongrels.

Katerina smiled upon reading the missive. Her eyes glancing over it all many times with a firm nod to herself.

Molia wishes it would all just end and that people would stop thinking angry things to say about other people across the entire continent; as if such energy was wasted for the type of (virtual) world we all live in.
