The answer is no. :/ Unless you can RPly get some sort of mage or something to revive her, which tends to be a lot of work. You can't bring characters back from the dead.

You can have armour on your skin but you need to actually have armour items to RP being in armour, especially in a combat situation.

Make it period appropriate. Modern day suits are not acceptable skins imo. But that just means you can have a more fantasy based suit and yea, avoid ties.

No noon that's not how it works sadly. In order to self teach you need to gather sufficient IC knowledge. So go around speaking with illusionists ( and probably write it down), find books on the void and illusion etc. OOC info is useless as in the self taught MA you need to prove that your character has sufficient IC information to self teach. Once you have that you need an overseer.
