  1. "The time for ruin is upon us." A wispy voice hissed, her words being taken by the icy winds of the north. She held a torn parchment in her hand as she peered out to the dark horizon. "My siblings have been so busy... I believe we're due for a meeting." The woman murmured before releasing the paper and watching it flutter into the darkness.
  2. A cloaked figure returned to her keep in the north that evening, chuckling to herself as she strode through the gates. She greeted her children cheerily as she entered, her clothing reeking of smoke and smudged with ash. The woman ascended the stairs to tell her husband the entire tale. “Just wait and see how the Orenian rats will scamper.” She cooed to him as she pushed her way into her room.
  3. Lylianth grinned, standing upon Stone Tower’s upper level as she watched the ferrymen return. She waved her teal bandana in solidarity. “Seems the wig-wearers finally took a fight.” The elven woman muttered to herself as she noted the bloodied blades of her comrades.
  4. #1: this. ^^^ i don’t know if i’ve ever spoken about this topic to a girl or woman who joined lotc as a minor and hasn’t experienced some sort of predatory behavior. #2: as someone who has experienced this- thank you. the person that groomed me was banned with very little solid evidence. that is because the medium they used was snapchat. i recognize now that i am very lucky. additionally, the argument that it was “too long ago” to act on is bullshit. i was 14 and terrified. it took me over a year to speak out about what happened to me. and i wasn’t even the one to report it. predators build friendships and trust with their victims and it takes a long ******* time for the guilt of escaping them to fade. if someone is a known predator- they should be banned. bottom line. they’re not being sent to prison, they’re being banned from a minecraft server where other minors might be targeted if they’re not removed. it is more important to protect children than allow a potentially dangerous adult to continue playing a block game. bottom line - Miko 💛 (as an addition. making the server 18+ is a step in the wrong direction. it’s never the kid’s fault- it’s the predator. it’s the staff’s responsibility to make lotc a safe place.)
  5. A long deceased Barbanov princess frowned down upon the Palatine with an expression wrought of sympathy. She, too, a victim of a past prophecy- one told by the old Morovar’s prophetic forebearer. “Of the three princesses will remain two. One’s color is faded, the other in blue.” The red princess, Amelya Valeriya, recited softly in memory, welcoming the stillborn infant into the skies.
  6. A private letter was hastily penned to Madame Onfroi!
  7. Eleanore received the letter as she sat in her room, left at a loss for words as she stared blankly at the page. Something in the letter had struck a cord in the young woman's heart. Slowly, she set the parchment aside and buried her face in her hands to ponder the first correspondence she had received from her mother in nearly a decade.
  8. A Denunciation of the Orenian Gossipers 396 E.S. (Charles Conder) This letter denounces those within Oren who spread falsified rumors of sin. Those who hide behind their decorated fans, shielding the lips which spill lies to any who will hear it. Who hide behind plastered walls among the safety of their guards and comfort of the meeting table to sow fear and hatred in the hearts of many. What is it to believe the words of elves and pagan worshippers over faith in one's kin? To spread rumors of your own blood- rumors with intent for hunt and murder? Betrayal. And yet you have not the gall to call upon me first. To summon me into your presence and challenge my innocence. For now I have heard of this betrayal from the tongues of others. Those you have encouraged to hunt me down. I have now proven my innocence to the Church, which had hunted its own loyal follower for faith in your words, revealing unmarred skin. But now I ask: is dishonesty not a sin most dire? Slandering your own daughter in your cowardice and hatred? Those who do not bend to your tongue wrought of lies and deceit are rescinded of your affection, it would seem, and are instead shown your cowardly brutality. So, mother. Princess Anne Caroline, Duchess of Auvergne. The woman who sees me as her deepest disappointment and greatest mistake. I bid you to read the holy scrolls and rediscover the light of our Lord GOD. For it is only He who can judge virtue, as it is written in the Canticle of Humanity within the Scroll of Virtue. For the corruption of fear and hatred has withered your mind to spew slander on your own spawn. “And I am the Lord GOD without peer, and My power is the only power, and My eternity is the only eternity, and all the aeons of the Virtue shall sustain the righteous.” Perhaps, mother, the confessional would serve you well. Signed, Her Highness, Anne Eleanore Pruvia-Morovar, Baroness-Consort of Ghaestenwald
  9. Eleanore enjoyed the loving presence of her family that evening, relieved to finally be free of such terrible rumors.
  10. Annaliese Kortrevich finally welcomes her husband into the Seven Skies. It had been decades since she'd passed of illness- and yet she'd seen how he remembered her all those years. He had lived a long and fruitful life, but she was glad to have him back.
  11. A mousey-haired woman read the poster in Karosgrad, scribbling down a note which she then pinned to its base for the author to notice. "A man by the name of Caius fits this description. He resides in Sedan." The message was left unsigned. @Kujo
  12. Somewhere, a cloaked woman bridled her horse and filled her packs with blazoned parchment in hand, preparing for the long journey ahead of her.
  13. Anne Eleanore glanced over the flier and raffle ticket she had been handed by a young Myrinian. She smiled softly, pocketing them both. IGN: MikoMonster RP NAME: Eleanore
  14. An armor-clad woman rode northward through frozen wastelands as the frigid nighttime wind bit into her cheeks. She urged her steed faster, fatigue setting in as the scent of smoke wafted from her cloak. In the ashes that she left behind her, she denounced a portion of her blood, and filled its place with an undying loyalty to her siblings and her Father. Eleanore sighed deeply as she led her mount through the gates of her new family's keep. It had been a long and arduous evening.
  15. Anne Eleanore, the newly wed Baroness of Ghaestenwald, frowned as she read the announcement regarding her father-in-law's disappearance. She paced the halls of her new home in solitude, admiring its beauty as she pondered. "I hope Franz finds his way back to us soon." The woman murmured to the stoic paintings as she dragged a hand down one of the banisters. "This is all so very sudden."

  19. The newly wrought Daughter of Pruvia etched a single word into the snow beneath her feet as she traveled through the icy spikes of the frozen north. "Ssifisv." To the being she had met hours prior, yet already deeply respected. For one's journey had been completed, and yet another's had just begun.
  20. Lylianth Ithelanen, who remained within the quiet lands of Camlannen, smirked cruelly as she leaned over the balcony rail, watching the blood-smeared party return to the keep. "Yet more stains bleached from this world, Kairn." The cold-hearted elfess sneered from above. "Another job well done."
  21. ♫♫♫ On the Pursuit of Asioth [OOC: This document can only be accessed IRPly by @Spoons] “Greater loves lesser; core loves periphery.” - the Teacher, Eresar sin Nathemas Fire of Exaltation “For First-Born, his royal kin climbed the bright heavens, and brought him the sparks of starry grandeur held there. Loving, he lapped up the red waters of their muse, and raised them upon a throne of shining thunder. In turn they filled his vessel with timeless insight, and wrote his name upon the book of Asioth. Like the golden sun was above the misty weald, a thousand lives were warmed by but a single source. Asioth held the power beyond all power. Each was raised above his brothers: exaltation.” The relationship between the Great Titan and his sons and daughters follows the ancient adage of ‘give, and you shall receive.’ The Nephilim bring to First-Born their treasures, glory, and inspiration. In turn, they receive joy and meaning- renowned in the name of Azdromoth. The flame in the blood and souls of herald and dragon alike. Nothing can be achieved without sacrifice, and Asioth does not stray from this rule. It is the Nephilim who roam the corners of the world and experience that which those in the heavens cannot. It is their wisdom which fuels the omniscient presence of those like the Great Titan. It is as you once told me, Krendogron: that which belongs to the heavens must remain in the heavens, and that which belongs to the earth must remain on the earth until we inevitably meet our maker once again. The Fire of Exaltation- Asioth grants what nothing else can. Vessel of Sublimity “For First-Born, his loving kin plumb the darkest depths, and give him the seeds of earthly beauty held there. Being, they tear down the white branches of his cage, and put upon him a crown of humming crystal. In turn he lights their fires with lively knowledge, and seats them all beneath the tree of Asioth. Like the silver moon is within the tossing sea, a thousand lights reflect from but a single source. Asioth reveals the subtle and hides the known. Each is found within his brothers: sublimity.” Vessel of Sublimity, twin to the Fire of Exaltation. The Nephilim bring the Great Titan the knowledge and beautiful creations of earth, and free him from his bonds beneath the earth. Just as in the story of the creation of the Nephilim, he is released from his imprisonment and restored to his rightful state of splendor. In exchange for their loyalty, he grants them the pursuit of Asioth. The right to chase divine freedom. Like how the moon reflects upon the waves and ripples of the infinite ocean, Asioth affects each of First-Borns children individually and in their own way and yet as one. Sublimity- beauty and freedom. Parable of Horen “Horen encountered the Great Titan on the road, and said to him ‘I have never said anything the truth of which I was not completely certain.’ The Titan said unto him ‘Be thankful I do not say the same.’” Where many believe that honesty and restraint from the telling of lies is what grants one divinity, this is not true for all. Speech is not guaranteed to be truthful, and the Great Titan exhibits this himself. The words of others cannot always be trusted, and the telling of mistruths does not prevent one from obtaining Asioth. Not everyone is worthy of full transparency. In my eyes, actions are the only way to prove complete honesty, no matter the individual. Parable of the Drakaar “A Drakaar encountered the Great Titan in flight and said to him ‘I have read your book. I, too, have a glowing voice.’ The Titan said to him ‘That is nonsense. How can a voice glow?’” The Drakaar’s mention of a glowing voice refers to the Vessel of Knowledge and Fire of Splendor within Elesar’s The Aurelects. Within these aurelects, First-Born’s glowing voice is used when describing the conquering and naming of nations under his rule. I believe that the glowing voice has nothing to do with the Great Titan’s words, nor his ability to persuade entire nations as the Drakaar perceives. Instead, the glowing voice is Asioth itself. The divine freedom which all nations bend to and long for without ever learning its name. There is no such thing as a glowing voice, as Asioth belongs to all and to none. As a glowing voice can be described and wielded, it can not be pictured. That is Asioth. On Answers “Eresar asked his student ‘Where is the white-gold seed planted?’ to which he responded ‘In the red-gold earth.’ The Teacher said ‘No. Go and re-read the Vessel of Growth’ to which the student said ‘But I have asked you the same question, and that is what you told me.’ Eresar asked him ‘What is your name?’ In On Answers, Eresar asks a question of his student. However, instead of answering the question on his own, the student recites the answer that Eresar himself had given previously. When the student questions why his teacher saw this response as incorrect, he responds with a question of his own. By asking ‘what is your name,’ Eresar is explaining to his student that every individual has their own answers to the same questions. This is reflected in the pursuit of Asioth. Though pursuing the same goal- all individuals can obtain divine freedom in their own way. In short, Eresar uses the metaphor of answers to explain the individuality of the pursuit of Asioth. The Pursuit Throughout my analysis of the writings of Eresar sin Nethemas, my path to Asioth may have become apparent. Silence is my own way of obtaining Asioth. Though pieces of the text may refute this, the main point remains clear. Divine freedom can be obtained through any method so long as the hunter puts in the effort to reach it- there are no exceptions. In my experience, there is no situation where words strike harder than actions. There are no words that can demonstrate one’s true self, nor their beliefs. No comments nor speeches are guaranteed to change anything in this world. The easiest way to teach is to demonstrate, not to write. The easiest way to harm is to injure, not to insult. The easiest way to heal is to tend, not to comfort. Speech is to be used minimally, in conversation with those I hold dear or to convey brief messages of importance. I decide the worth of others through observation. If I cannot see their merit through their actions and composure, then their words mean nothing to me. I would rather remain in a state of stoic silence and conduct myself as I need to. In combat, paying attention and obeying orders is the only position I need to take for my company to emerge victorious. Efficiency and professionalism above all else, naught but silence is needed in most moments. By holding my tongue, I notice what many do not. Divine freedom is found in my actions, not in my words. In Silence, I pursue Asioth. Signed, Josephine E. Ross
