We're not staying on this topic as a status, it's clear both parties for and against have a lot to say on the topic. What I not suggest is to continue to fight eachother on status'. Nothing at all will be achieved this way and it's come to the point of pettiness. What I do suggest and recommend is a constructive and sensible feedback thread to be made on the matter where people can kindly talk about the topic at hand. The attackers can have constant supply aiding them thus letting them stay for as long as possible. The defenders start to deplete in resources, suffer through dehydration, and diseases. Defenders should have the limit here.

I think the problem is that we treat sieges like field battles.

I honestly don't see why you felt the need in the first place to introduce grinding and roadblocks to what had previously been a pure, unadultered RP experience.

When a plugin forces the average player to apply economic theory to roleplay, then it is practically a screwup. LotC shouldn’t be an environment in which you need to mechanically grind in order to facilitate roleplay. Imo, they either need to make the grind virtually non existent or just go back to Vanilla, so that it no longer limits a player’s experience.

I'm pretty sure the server can't detect if someone is typing, it would need to be a client sending the signal.

@Karlio, I'd have to double check but I really doubt playerTyping is a method in spigot/bukkit. I could check, but... it wouldn't really work, I dont even think packet manipulation can detect that far. Maybe?
