  1. Primrose Gendik-Komnenos fondly smiles at the file. "I can't believe it's been 20 years since I've joined." The woman replaced the file and shoved her hands into the pockets of her crisp 3rd-brigade uniform. "The 3rd helped me grow into the woman and soldier I am today." She said with a smile.

Primrose made her way to the stables, chocolate eyes sparkling with excitement once she entered and retrieved her horse. "They are like family to me. Isn't that right, Barley?" She asked to her horse as she mounted it with a grunt. Failing at this, she would try a few more times until she successfully sat on its saddle.

"If only it would make me taller..."

  2. Primrose Gendik-Komnenos stood on the balcony of her bedroom, the wind rousing her chestnut hair as she read the petition. With a frown, the woman headed back inside only to sit at her desk. "This sounds like a disaster. I need to clear things up." Pulling out a piece of parchment paper and her fountain pen, Primrose started to write a letter to the lawyers involved.

To Father Stor Vuiller and Sir Charles Galbraith,

I write to you in concern about this case. I was a dear friend of Azgrul and I truly believe that there is vital information missing from this case.

Azgrul suffered from blackouts, though, the cause of them were unknown. From his descriptions, they were segments of memories where he was unsure of what happened; to which his demeanor would change and I can only assume he grew violent.

On many occasions, Azgrul had approached me asking him to arrest him. He told me that during his blackouts, he was murdering people - children included. It is unknown who these unfortunate souls are; may they find peace amongst the stars.

Despite being a Sergeant in the Imperial State Army and knew I could detain him, I was afraid for my own life, and thus I did not do anything about it. You see, Azgrul had played a cruel "joke" on me some time ago; proceeding to fake a seizure and thus forcefully kissing me when I tried to help. I knew Azgrul liked me, and I was afraid to be alone with him. Afraid to be alone either because he would try to kiss me again, or try to kill me for rejecting him. I truly thought it would be another trap.

Azgrul was a strong recruit in the ISA, consistently working hard to train himself and attend other missions. Nearly every fight he won, yet the injuries of his opponents were severe. Some of these include Abarran's horrible brain damage and twice fractured femur.

A saint-day before my wedding, Azgrul joined Damien Hughes and I in the Novellen tavern. He gave me a handmade bouquet of fake-flowers and wished us both goodbye. He said he was going away for a long time. Earlier occasions revealed that he intended to hide away from everyone as to never hurt anyone again. It is clear that Azgrul felt guilty; he knew that he was a dangerous murderer. He may have abandoned the ISA, but he did so for the safety of us all.

There is no doubt that Azgrul's confession of guilt is true. Why would a guilty man confess so many times? Why would a guilty man want to be arrested for his crimes?

His arrest is what he wanted.

    Sincerely,

    Primrose Gendik-Komnenos

"You're a slowpoke, Arthur Komnenos." She couldn't help but smile as she lowered herself down onto one knee.

Her chin lifted up to fully view his face as he stood in her presence. Opening the black velvet box in her hand, she said, "Arthur, will you marry me?"

"Yes, of course I would! Is there any question in that?"

  4. Primrose Gendik read the missive, giving a firm nod followed by a smirk. "Wonderful work being done in the ISA lately..." She would set the paper aside, going to put a pot of water over the fire to boil. "Let them burn to the ground. Perish in the darkness of the Void." The woman said with a final sigh, turning on her heel to set up a few cups of tea.

  5. Primrose Gendik passed by the newly restored Basilica on her way home. A warm smile grew on her lips as she held the basket full of fresh vegetables tighter.  "Good as new, it seems. How wonderful!" She mused, turning down the alleyway shortcut home.

The constellations roamed about the vast night sky, settling soft lights on the visage of a certain duo. Constellations in the sky, a sight to behold with naught a thought but the other. Hands clasped in the other, swaying within the dim lights shone through the windows of the grandiose palace. The mirroring band which hung onto the Raev’s finger, shined in the bouncing rays of the constellations.

  7. Primrose Gendik stared at the now empty table she had once had the pleasure to share with her old friend, recalling fond memories of her children climbing about the table and conversing with the orc she had made peace with and welcomed into her home. The flats she wore would scuffle against the wooden floors as she returned to the ground level, approaching the table she had against a window. Memories of fights against her ex-enemy flashed before her eyes.

A shaky sigh came from the woman as a tear fell from her cheek. The candle's light in front of her flickered as she lit the wick. "May you rest peacefully amongst the stars, my friend. You will not be forgotten. I am sorry I tarnished your name in our younger days, but I am relieved to have gotten the chance to reconcile." Primrose placed a bouquet of lavender beside the candle. Wiping away another tear from her eye, she would salute the memorial.

The memorial would be able to been seen by all who passed her home on Adria Street 6.

  8. Crickets chirped as the young Ruthern girl returned to Kositz after the wonderful night at the ball. A paper would be left on her steps. Isabella vas Ruthern would simply tuck it under her arm as she entered her family's manor.

Giddily, she'd skip up the steps to her bedroom, the fabric of her dress ruffling at each movement. Plopping down onto her bed with a joyous giggle, she'd open the paper, her deep ocean eyes skittering over the letters. Upon seeing her name, Isabella slowed her reading, absorbing each word like a sponge.

A giggle would escape from her mouth as she shook her head. "I may have been rather nervous but it does niet matter anymore! It's over and it was a wonderful night." Bella sighed, tossing the paper aside and laid back onto her sheets. She'd stare at the top of her canopy bed, daydreaming away of the day's events and of the future's possibilities.

  9. Primrose Gendik read the announcement, unsurprised by the news. With an expectant shrug, she'd toss the paper away. "Let's just hope there won't be too much blood spilled. Or sand in our hair." The woman sighed, bringing her long light-brown curls into a tight low bun. "Oren Aut Mortem."

  10. Isabella vas Ruthern quietly read the missive in her home at Kositz, a tear streaking down her cheek. Placing the paper into her drawer, she'd bring herself up from the chair she sat in, heading to the door. "How awful..." She murmured, trying to keep herself strong. "I need to see George."

The sound of shoes clicking against the wooden floors echoed off the pristine walls of the palace as Isabella approached George, sitting in the hallway. Mournful eyes now laid on her best friend; Tears spilled down her cheeks as George spoke to her.

Isabella wrapped her arms around George, knowing it wouldn't do much to help his grief, but it would give him the comfort and support she always gave him.

  11. Isabella vas Ruthern struggles to place a large pumpkin on the dummy she had created. She'd wipe the sweat from her forehead with the sleeve of her blouse with a sigh. She mumbles to herself after having just read the Queen's proclamation. "There's nie reason for war just because we left!" The girl huffed as she hopped down from the training grounds she had built for the knights of the new kingdom. "Only those who are jealous of us will cause a war." The Princess of Helsreach said, standing proud with a hand on the hilt of her wooden training sword. She'd unsheathe the sword, getting prepared to duel with the pumpkin-headed dummy. However, without even touching it, the pumpkin would slowly tip off the dummy and fall to the ground, its contents exploding onto the girl. "Ugh! Gross!"

  12. Primrose Cooper picks up the note, a look of horror growing on her face. "What vile person would do such a thing! Such a heinous, unkind crime!" The woman would angrily throw the flyer into the trash, tearing it into pieces as they were dumped. "I hope the MOJ will solve this case. Otherwise, I'd like beat this demon with my own hands!"

  13. Isabella vas Ruthern bit her tongue upon hearing the missive. It was only her first day in the kingdom and she was already banished! She would sit on a bench outside of the palace, thinking of the events that had passed. Despite only meeting and befriending George Maximillian not even a saint-hour before, she was fully set on protecting him. "Well, that was fun." The 7-year-old said, standing from the bench.

Maybe this encounter would open a new door for
Isabella in both her friendship to George and her interest in combat.

  14. When Primrose Cooper heard of the the man's death, she would mournfully light a candle for the lost soul. It would be placed in the street-side window of her home on Adria Street 6, flickering away in the night. A bouquet of blue orchids was placed beside the burning candlestick, representing the blue coat she would remember him always sporting. She'd recall just seeing him a saint-day before, noticing his stoic demeanor. If only...

"May God bless his soul, and may his soul be guided to the Seven Skies where he can peacefully rest..." Primrose would pray quietly. The flame would be left to burn in George Hartcold-O'Rourke's memory for 3 saint-days until the wax was no more. A similar blue orchid as the one in the window would be left at the steps of Helena 2.

  15. A sigh of relief comes from the woman seated by the window when she read the news. Her children were playing amongst themselves, currently unaware of the battle she might have attended if she had not been caring for the young'uns. "Oren Aut Mortem." Primrose Cooper would whisper to herself with a proud grin.
