I plus one the post when I first read it and do think it is a good option. There is stuff in the works on trying to fix the war server and roll out lag changes by the Tech team so it is much better to focus on them then me. My own knowledge of minecraft jars is probably a lot less then a lot of people so I would probably defer to Llir/Telanir/Tythus or another tech on making a decision on something like this. I can have an opinion of course and discuss it with them at Admin meetings, but I was on vacation for two weeks and just returned today. I had a lot of fun and got to see a bear in the wild, which was on my wish list. It was crazy.

Yeah I'm glad it got locked, it derailed and deviated from the main argument, with the response of a player who elicited a sharp response to their comment from many people, and it was besides the original point of the thread itself. It wasn't a debate at that point, so it was better to just let it be rather than having it escalate to that level and backfire.

Use the default one or allow people the choice to use a modified default like I do, and then cit packs already made & enforced, most cit packs fit easily with default.

Yes, that is why I acknowledged those are Moderation ban reasons. It's only the severe situations like severe harassment, grooming, leaking sensitive information etc. that require the intervention of Administration to be directly involved that have the ability to result in Player Conduct Violation or Safety Violation bans. I've never spoken to an admin about it so I can't say for certain why the system of an email appeal is in place. My go-to theory is that it's more of a PR issue and it's better if they're able to handle it privately without the possibility of public outrage given that these situations are generally more sensitive.

Like Creval said, moderation ban is for the common stuff but then there are admins bans, which are most of the time permanent and is what may be going through, right now. Lastly, TOS bans that break the safety rules such as pedophilia etc..

You can appeal a Moderation Ban, you cannot appeal a TOS (or CGV) is the big difference. It tends to be indicative of the level of fuckery.

I mean the ST just finished one that lasted for multiple months last map. And not even september, like, around december we just came to this map lol

personally I'm against large ass events like that because then you get fkn 50+ people packing all into one chunk spamming emotes. I'd rather have small eventlines focused on different magics, groups, or nations instead of a million /broadcast emotes. makes it feel a lot more personal and immersive

You surely remember that all large scale events before the inferi one was mostly PvE, sadly the ST can no longer do pve events anymore cause the server is so ****, random 'small eventlines' are pointless because they ultimately have no impact. A good event line was Mordskov and Aesterwald, we don't see stuff like that anymore.

i think the capacity exists to do a series of smaller-ish events that string together for a cohesive story while giving people opportunities to participate along the chain of events. start having similarly themed/connected events across the continent, giving people a shared experience, create opportunities for interaction between that, etc. could easily have a wide impact without catering to a 50 person event

I'll look at that now, still its pretty shocking and sad that the staff on this server can't be arsed to make a guide on a plugin they've forced onto us with no consultation and are relying on players to make their guides for them.
