In the quiet solitude of her room, Mathilde Augusta finds herself still reeling from the cacophony that had enveloped the castle grounds moments ago. Her ears still reverberating with the echoes of the commotion, she can't help but ask herself in disbelief, "Has my beloved grandfather truly departed?" The weight of the situation looms heavily upon her, leaving her grappling to comprehend the reality of it all. Yet, amidst the uncertainty, a resolute voice within her reminds her, "He shall return, he promised me he would train me." With unwavering determination, Mathilde dons her suit of armor and takes up her sword, marching forth to the training grounds to hone her skills.

Still, she wondered where her future may lie. "Y should have seen this coming.." The aging woman muttered, penning a letter to someone of blood.

The woman mentioned with a stiff expression as she exhaled slowly. “Mai tu have save travels and  Que dieu vous protège alors que vous fuiez cette terre abandonnée.” She then placed the letter upon her desk blowing out the candle and exiting in search for her Eldest Son. @Continuate

"Want to hear a joke...?" Percy de Lyons quoted the missive as he read it. "... the Stassion performance in the skirmish today." He mumbled to himself, inspecting his newest weaponry and armour of excellent quality. "Frederick Aurelian- you have a very misplaced sense of humour, given the circumstances. I suppose that Frederick the Coward flees again! Run from your problems, you have no courage- flee to Aeldin." He chuckled.
