Good villains should create RP instead of circle jerking dark magic types or pixel looting for no reason like we do here on LoTC. Antagonists exist to create conflict where there is none, without an antagonist/villain there is no conflict and thus, no RP. 

Good villains create a role play where their only goal is not to win, you're also attempting to have the other side enjoying this role play as well. Additionally, not all villains are mentally ill vicious people, they may have sympathy and such, unless they really are mentally ill and viscous, if so, please be more original!

I find the whole deal very, very disappointing. They should've done the book thing later on, because we just burnt the whole map's booze in less than a month. We'll be lucky if it lasts longer than 6 months.

I personally think the staff is doing a great job at giving everyone time to get a lightning insurance in case of undead keeps in the neighborhood.

I mean, if you look at it the way you just said, it's well done. However, there's still the issue the "surprise" was spoiled oocly, so the reaction ICly will be most indifferent, as not a lot of people behave like their characters during events.

Well there aren't that many families within Oren that aren't nobility. I guess you could be an Herrick?

There aren't even that many families in Oren tbh. And by that, I mean the ones you're looking for. Big families with lots of different people around all the time. Most of them are people playing their own bloodline, or are fairly exclusive and not recruiting. Your best bet as a Human would be a peasant like Phoenix said, or try play a Soldier from one of the various military groups around, and earn a name for yourself that way. It's much more enjoyable.

Medium to low fantasy depending on the people and location. It shows the varity of RP you can get by joining which I think is better then a "one size attempting to fit all but fitting few" forced style.

People constantly whine, ***** and scratch over the furniture, pleading for both realism and game solutions at once, so the only way to make it reasonable might be a compromise. But Heff is right. Gotta keep the druids a-rollin' the way they were. Clique they may be, but it's how it works. And clerics aren't very high fantasy, surprisingly, so they do can be cut down a notch innit.

If someone rolls I usually accept it but then the person who loses does the effect to their body. It's worked pretty well for me so far.

Fair enough. I understand where you get at BNK, but the point I am making is that people /roll for every single emote. Doesn't make sense, honestly. I don't get why they don't just /roll when the hit is likely to connect, not when it is unlikely (for example's sake).

I hate the /roll thing. Its just as bad as the Halfling v Orc thing in pvp. Why can't people rp like in the good ol' days?

I havent gotten pvp defaulte f in a while. I am on a laptop and my mouse is broken so i cant anyways. But really most people considered "pvpers" enjoy rp combat.

I've had a lot that were very fun. Goliath and Arik were two of my favorites.

I've seen lots. Was a battle for high shaman, I thought that one was RPed quite well.

I have a phoenix that someone else wrote lore for. I think if it's a normal animal or an mc animal (giant spider) you can just rp it.

As much as I enjoy diversity, I always found weird animals like that to be pretty annoying.

I think unless its some weird non-existant breed its fine. But if your making up an animal, or its something fantasy, there should be lore for it. I RP my wolves as being Maned Wolves- A real life breed.

Extra eyes and limbs are doable, as long as it doesn't mess with the organism's anatomical structure to the point where it dies shortly after being fabricated. Fur colours? Why not? Seems pretty harmless.

I mean, you could use a rose's dye to essentially make a 'hybrid' red furred rabbit.
