As far as I know, this is the first naval battle on LotC. Get hyped
-
So it's been a couple episodes now, and I just want to know. Is anyone else getting the feeling GoT's writing has gotten worse?
-
Did... Kowaman just say he took away the Elf passive speed buff.... The one buff everyone has always liked......

@ShameJax and I suggest you listen to the feedback that has been given now and in the past and write and update plugins accordingly rather than adding in things people clearly stated they do not want

I am not going to bother putting this in a post. Things aren't getting better on here, it's been the same for about seven or eight months. It might seem like it gets better, but really it's just the problem changes forms so you think it is gone, but it's really just a trick.

In all seriousness, if a group of five people walk into a town and take stuff from chests it isn't considered a raid. Besides that, who would ever counter-raid because someone took stuff out of unlocked chests? It was their fault for not having them locked. Committing villainy as a group doesn't constitute a raid. A raid is conflict RP that falls within war rules, an attack by a group of players on a settlement. I believe this came from this flawed logic: Raids revolve around group villain RP, stealing is villain RP, thus, group stealing means there's a raid. Now, you might look at that and say, "Yeah, that makes sense," but you know I'm getting at something. Let's say instead, a jeep festival revolves around cars that have engines, all sedans have engines, thus, all sedans must be welcome at a jeep festival. That's the exact same thing, but a little more fleshed out. A+B + C+B = A=C. The problem is that there is an issue in the actual wording. Sedans aren't welcome in a jeep festival just like stealing isn't the same form of villainy that constitutes a raid. It isn't villainy that makes a raid a raid, it is attacking the settlement. Just because attacking is villainy doesn't mean that something else that is villainy constitutes the same event.
TL;DR Murder/attacking unprovoked + group + settlement = raid. Stealing + group + settlement =/= raid. They are different types of villainy, and a raid is dependent on the first.

It wasn't raid baiting. There's not much more to say. I don't really know WHAT constitutes raid baiting, but I'm pretty sure it's more like running up to a settlement with a group armored up just long enough for the enemy to see you then retreating so they counter-raid you. This is, frankly, ridiculous.

I would say something like JOIN THE SIRAME... But the thing is we get like 1-3 new recruits a day lol. Here's the page anyways, nerds. https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/125833-the-order-of-sirame/

I agree! I really enjoy looking at vast empty plains devoid of any change or any construction! I love static wildernesses that you cannot interact with in any way! It's just the best! Who would want to be able to modify their environment in a roleplay server anyways? Roleplay is about sitting in a nation capital waiting for your daily spoon-fed ET event, duh!
+1 this if you agree.
((This is sarcasm in case you could not tell. Have a great day, and may LOTC prosper under whatever system we decide to implement!))

I'm not seeing killaura in that video. It could be click aura, but why would click aura be swinging when you're down and when someone gets near you? I think it's a legit bug. It's also impossible to watch most of the video for any more click aura because of the quality.

Yeah but before he goes down he was running forward towards DP, and DP doesn't get hit. Either this guy knows how to turn his click aura on and off p good (so Idk why he'd get caught like this), he's using some weird kill aura, or it's a bug. It also didn't swing when dp was right next to him and moved on top of him at the beginning, only when he jumped. He was also swinging right after he went down and DP was a few blocks away
-
the staff have a plugin that does not allow you to damage when you are down to prevent hackers, but you still swing. what goes on in the video is when dp gets near where the hacker had his aura aimed on, either based on FOV or on proximity to crosshair he beings swinging and stops swinging when dp leaves that sweetspot, only to resume again when he reenters it. its blatant hacks and only those with 0 knowledge on how they work would think it isnt

Here's my solution, let's get rid of pvp, and let's get rid of RP. That's right, let's become a build server!

Just got finished power-watching GoT. The ending of the last episode of season 5 was such a dumb move.

Does anyone know the true difference between a longsword and bastard sword? Ive heard the characteristics of one given to the other as well and vice versa, so Im not sure anymore

There really isn't much of one. "They're the same weapon." is not actually that far off. The bastard sword came later and is technically a more modernized version of the longsword. It appears generally the grip is also a half-hand smaller, and the bastard sword is forged with the idea in mind of getting past more modern, plate armor. Hence the thickness and more accepted examples of 'half-swording', or using it like a club, as Blundermore summed up. There's really no wrong answers when it comes to the longsword/bastard sword debate, you'll find most facts are accurate even if they don't give you the whole picture.

I just realized, if an elf and human had a child, wouldn't it be sterile?

You know, the best rock guitarist is black, while the best rapper is white, funny how that turns out.

It's weird isn't it? And Deck, it's just the whole rock scene is dominated by white people but a black person was the best at it. The rap scene is dominated by black people, while Eminem is the best at it. Also Tupac was good, don't get me wrong, but Eminem has what Tupac had, plus more. I actually used to say Tupac was the best too, until a guy came on facebook who is actually in the recording business and basically told me that one of the reasons Tupac is considered by a few...

So I was chilling in the shower thinking about what the difference between an otaku and weeaboo actually is. The conclusion I came to is that they are basically the same thing. The difference being an otaku actually is Japanese, but they share almost all of the same interests at similar levels.
