A smile cast over the devil for the couple. He could still remember when they were young - and all the chatter. They seemed so inevitable. He thought his own had been inevitable for he and Liewyn had been so inseparable. At the very least, he could be glad for her. She did not fail him, yet. She was still that cousin he adored.

Blood was strong, and she was the one to prove it.
