Right, everyone saying roll default is stupid clearly weren't there when people used /roll 20, because it pretty much was RP default, except each action had a roll 20 behind it to decide its success rate. Really, its the least bias to somebody having a PC or writing skills.

Rp default, this is an rp server. Stop being item hungry and rp it out. And for those saying rolling is for plebs, its quite useful when deciding things that rely on pure luck, such as flinging something at a blind spot or other things.

Well I apologise as it seems you did have it, although you seemingly powergamed it but I suppose what you did may have been possible with older necro gens, still don't think your rewrite is the best idea.

Considering I've only ever RP'd life drain outside of teacher lessons and only on corpses, I doubt I powergamed it.

He means that that's why you like the VA's. Your character is highly unique and should need approval of being played. But just because of your character needing one, it doesn't mean the average ones that the rest of us play should suffer.

I played my Evil character without a VA till late Anthos. I knew the lines of the VA and what I could do. So creating chaos without a VA or needing one is something I was able to do. Though the convention of what SortedJar meant isn't as what you are saying. I like VA's since it keeps control not that it is to make people suffer. Make good and fun roleplay or be removed.

Well, right now it doesn't. It restricts more Role-play than it promotes. Murder with provocation? Ok, the order of St Amyas can't do it's form of RP it likes, along with Orcs and Dwarves too. The VA's hurt more people than they help. You mainly like them probably because it doesn't affect your character all that much.

So if someone wants to make planes in the realm of Anthos, and this lore was denied for the very reason that planes are a complex technology, and would not be in a middle-aged world (or that of Middle-Earth). Would this be putting that person down, or just being sensible?

I could see gliders (Basically backpacks or something that have wing-like parts to it allowing people to glide short distances), but not planes or such.

It sounds to me like something (probably magical) was denied for overlapping or contradicting another magic.

You'd have to be pretty stupid to attack the only people that keep your army alive after so many bloody battles...

It'd be illogical, because of the aura around the cloud temple which cancels villainy/violence. You'd march in and suddenly feel incapable to fight.

It makes you unable to use violence if I recall correctly. Therefore you could still use other methods to dispatch or kill the monks.

Heya! The first Ascended rewrite needed to be denied as a new rewrite that I posted was made. The reason why the first one was denied is basically because that was the base version that Jallentime wrote and it needed heavy editing but we couldn’t due to Lark uploading it then leaving. So we had to upload the now remastered rewrite. It should have been denied sooner but at least the LT did not forget it. The current one is now on pending and me and the members of the Ascended community are working on making the necessary edits that were given to us.

Will admit, seeing the first rewrite denied actually caused some of us Ascended members to panic, thinking it was the lore I posted that got denied. However, we soon realised it wasn’t the current one but the old one. We got bamboozled.

Again first test shot, it isn't complete and it's going in a small process of animation.

As with not trying to 'draw' it too much on my own character I did this for the character EmilyBlackheart or Poppy Evocress who asked for it. Not for my gain.

Then refocus it because I can't even tell that was anyone TBH, or what direction they are facing. And it is a test shot, but you put it up expect criticism to make it good instead of being at the end
