  3. The community is crap. Bullies OOCly, not all but a lot, and bullying that even some really toxic groups don't normally even do. Those who aren't just plain bullying definitely aren't adding enough interesting RP to the server. They circlejerk so badly they probably have wrist problems. They are often toxic when they don't get their way. They are often prone to abuse their powers. they are often egotistical. They are unable to take constructive criticism. They make all RP or OOC interactions with the group either, at best, boring, or at worse infuriating. The magic itself is bland, boring, and has no interesting dynamics. It's also just some confusing lore behind it that I don't even grasp, even though several Ascended have attempted to explain it, and even they admit they don't fully understand it. It's a circlejerk magic, again. Piss off the leader and your magic's gone, even if that doesn't make much sense in RP. Nothing about the magic is original, even on the server itself. It's a zombie magic that should have been put down years ago, actual IRL years ago. Let me leave everyone reading this with one question. Ignore my ranting above, just answer this: If a magic exists that only seems to benefit the group who uses it, a magic that you can only learn from sucking up to the group's leader, a magic that creates server wide events but then bars anyone who isn't apart of the group from joining -- if that magic exists, should we have it on LoTC? I say no. Remove the Ascended, and don't grandfather in anyone who currently knows it.

  5. BP had a villain that was pretty good. His intentions made sense, and he wasn't a 'bad guy' as much as he was a good guy who went down a dark path and came to some bad conclusions. Ragnarok had Hela who was boring af, and Jeff Goldblum who was charismatic but very one dimensional. The thing that sets the movies apart other than that is the actual pacing and enjoyment. BP was really grounded... Get suit -> fight henchmen -> fight bad guy -> lose -> come back -> beat bad guy -> win. Ragnarok was all over the place, and ended up being more fun because it didn't follow a set story arch. Spent too much time writing this Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  6. Interesting... but... Unicum? Is that... nevermind... Real question though @Sporadic do you have to take your lama on the main roads? Is it allowed for you to take a longer, but safer and unseen, journey that isn't on the roads?
  7. why do all the greatest halflings get corrupted by stupid druids???????????????????
  8. I've yet to see a magic ever be proven good just because it's rare and only known by a select group of people, but that's my only 2 cents on all that
  9. "Ugh Oh" Rupert says, reading over the paper
  10. Renarion would burp as he leans past a wall, looking into the courtyard "How exactly is this the council's fault, but not also your own fault for not realizing your own brother was doing this?"
  11. southern england should be halflings :(

    4. Raomir

      Raomir

There is a middle ground that benefits both nations and freebuilders

  13. raid cap of 2 and you can't bring weapons
  14. "Ya'd need a crap ton of materials ta do this...." ((Editing in OOC stuff now that I thought about it for like 2 minutes. You'd need a lot of iron to get enough tracks and carts for this to work just between two nations, let alone a large part of the server, plus it'd end up going through freebuild, so it's at risk of griefing. Not to mention you could just steal the minecarts. Add on the fact that to get the nations to all work together would be near impossible for some, as they'd all just refuse in fear of making a 1-way-raid-ride track to their city. And, finally, it'd have to end up looking cosmetically good, which I'm not sure how you would do... I suggest maybe try implementing this sort of thing in a nation between settlements, rather than doing it between nations, at least at first. Though it's a cool idea. Just my 2 cents))
  15. 'Grr now the GMs are gonna have to actually learn all the rules' ? ? ?
  16. thank god nexus was horrible. Bless you EDIT: Yo wait the vault thing is cool but what about echests? VIP should get some extra slots yo
  17. A giant picture hangs around many cities and road-posts, which bares a symbol of a smithing hammer over the seas. "Thoren Stormbreaker, buying high quality arms and armors, as well as materials for smithing. Contact via bird in Jornheim for further details. Paying high prices" [] The map's ending real soon, chances are you have some stuff you won't need! I'm buying Unique weapons/armors for my Dwarvish shop next map, and I'm willing to pay fine minas for the crap you can't take. The main thing I'm looking for is materials. Ores, Scales, Metals, Pelts, maybe fine jewels or magical stones; anything which a worthy smith could craft into fine goods. Items which have been signed via the staff team (GM/ET/LT/Etc.) are the real things which would pay good, since they're legitimate. Depending on the item you could fetch between a few hundred to a few thousand minas, or possibly a trade if you'd prefer- a good deal for items you most likely won't be able to keep for next map. The second thing would be already made weapons/armors. Same goes as before, if they're signed they're more legitimate, and often more fun. The prices I'd offer on these vary, since I could get any matter of weapons or armors, from a random leather hat to the axe of krug, so it'll have to be negotiated via RP.
  18. ((Wait what? I'm fairly new to Dwarf RP but I've seen religion RP already, just not in Kal'Omith. Since it's, y'know, dead...))
  19. Renarion would cringe with a gasp, not expecting Iat to respond while he's in the outhouse, going to cover his privates with his robes "Dear goodness, can you please give me some privacy in here!?" Fine, fine, you're correct, they used a silly loophole and we should revert it, but by the light, man, I'm peeing!"
  20. Renarion would look out the window of the outhouse as he pees "Wait, there is no process to change laws? Well, guess it's tradition then..." He'd go back to peeing
