Magic is boring and dumb. It will never be as satisfying as physical violence. On a fundamental level, magic is nothing more than a simple and instant solution to any issue thrown at you. Any adventure has conflict, encountering and working around that conflict makes for a fun experience. Magic throws all of that out the window and ruins everything. It’s boring to wave your hand and ignore the whole point of the adventure.

I dont dislike it OOCly, I do think its hard to build a playerbase around it though, since the magic is individualist by nature

Voidal magic is has so little effects on a character to the point that I regularly forget I have an accepted telekinesis MA because its notable in RP never.

They're a joke. Get an acoustic guitar and acquire *******.

It's a good instrument to get started in, personally I started out on bells (think xylophone) to learn notes, but the Uke shall make sure you get basic chord progressions more so. Many instrument is hard to learn, ya just gotta have conviction doing it.

I like it. The only down side is the neck is very small, so if you have thick fingers you might find yourself touching the other strings. Besides that, it's a great instrument :)

^basically what ShameJax said; the main reason LOTC staff wants to keep it like this it is because they want to have a big map, but to centralize most RP....

I don't understand the point of that then, I mean why have a giant map if you are just going to try to centralize RP

I thought the same thing at first, but if you really think about it, it makes sense. The problem with the Nexus plugin in athera (for land) was that it allowed u to take any "unclaimed land". This caused everything to spread out, and have less RP in general. A big map is there for guilds (that are villainous, militaristic and/or magic that do not want to be associated w/a nation)  that hope to grow by themselves. Typically a village or an isolated house would not bring much RP, and would spread everything out more.
