I don't know, I think activity is more important. It's the life blood of the server and also a positive feed back. What do you think is more appealing to a new comer? Personally, the reason I stayed on lotc was because there was one elven and human city that always had RP. I don't care if I was beaten for being a dark elf, at least there was at least ten people actually roleplaying all the time in New Abersi.

Yes, but now have 10 high elves, ten dark elves, and ten wood elves. Now have them all attacking one-another, all getting angry at one-another, and all getting pissy with one-another in L-OOC and you have a recipe for a disaster. I know this could happen, because it has happened. This isn't an environment that entices new players, or encourages good RP. Granted, our communities aren't generally idiots, rude, or looking for an OOC conflict. But if you smack flint and steel together you will eventually get fire.

I'm not claiming to have any solutions for the applicant slowdown or player retention. I'm a Socrates, not an Aristotle. I just know, from experience, that what you're proposing won't work, and will drive groups further apart.

Well it's my personal opinion that people having poor attitudes and taking RP to ooc shouldn't drive policy and world building. What I know also happens is when bases split up, the splits usually die individually while one survives with diminished activity.

I dont like pursuing BRs because of the fact it causes more drama than good. I wanted away from an RP situtation I felt was going to become toxic and unenjoyable for both sides. If I end up banned, thats Tsu's decision. There isn't much I can do about it.

Running from actual Rp. If I say hello to you on the road and you keep walking I cannot then go Pvp you. In fact, if I yell halt and actively try to stop you but you don't engage the Rp situation I cannot then go Pvp you. In order for it to be running from Rp both people/characters have to be engaged Icly and Oocly in a clearly hostile Rp situation where running would insinuate fleeing from a hostile situation or combat.

Its not to be used if you die in a raid, its to be used if you betray and are captured.

So, if you betray AND then get executed? That sounds perfectly reasonable.

my best time was when i didnt browse the forums and everything i knew was from eavesdropping IC, was so innocent. 

GMs see them.  Just because the decisions aren't overturned doesn't mean the forum is ineffective.  I personally think we've seen some interesting developments lately.  The staff has listened to us in the past few months more than ever I think.  That MAT situation rings clear in my mind, they responded quickly to member protest.

I liked your character when we interacted. I know you said no to Sutica, but it's mostly Elves. Even the Princess is an Elf. I think your character would like it more than most places due to how cleanly it is supposed to be. 

Either way, if you ever see me online, I'm free to interact. I'm either in Sutica, Oren, Linandria, or...the Druid Grove, which your character would never enter in a million years. They live in a tree full of dirt and animals. BUT THE FIRST THREE, MAYBE!

Any communists who follow Marx's teachings in some capacity supports an economic theory that supports and even requires genocide to implement. There is no way around this. At all.
